  1. I think there should be another variation to the "Coaches" role.
For example, I have my personal Coach in my account, and my account is linked to that coach's account- that's how I get my premium subscription.
My coach has, and should have, special "permissions" that other added "coaches" should not have.
For example: if a team askes me to "add them to my TrainingPeaks", I don't necessarily want them to have the power to change my workouts, my data, add comments or sometimes even see my comments back to my coach.
My comments are my main form of communication…

  2. I've noticed that's it's not possible to hide notes in a dynamic plan. Could this feature be turned on please? It would greatly help with programming and saves me time having to then go into individual calendars and hide the note until I'm ready for it to be visible.

  3. Is there a chance that we can get a daily calorie intake in Matrics? Or is it possible to integrate calorie consumption based on the zones or heart rate zones using laboratory diagnostics, as other platforms already do? It would also be helpful if you had food options in each workout - in short, you need to consume 50 g of carbohydrates per hour today

  4. Strength training is a core element of my training strategy, so I am excited that TrainingPeaks is improving support for programming strength workouts. In addition to other requested features here, I would like to be able to prescribe the number of warm-up sets for a given exercise. This is distinct from the warm-up exercises that already exist.

In my training plan it is important to distinguish that although only 1-2 sets may be "working" sets, there are also several warm-up sets performed at significantly lower weight and reps. From a UX perspective, it is challenging to communicate this when there…

  6. Our idea is that whenever someone selects "slightly injured" or a more severe injury status in the Metrics section, a “human body” illustration would appear. This illustration would allow the user to click on the specific area affected, making injury documentation simpler and more intuitive. We believe this could significantly reduce the hesitation, especially for younger athletes, to document their injuries thoroughly and accurately.

  7. See attached pic illustrating my idea

On the TP Home Page that shows all athletes ...

Current functionality only displays one week of future programming /training.

This is insufficient for multi-week training management.
Request extending the future view to two or three weeks to facilitate better planning, scheduling, and alignment with coaching objectives.

  10. New workout builder

Great, thank you. Can you please reinstate the ability to add documents / PDFs and or web links to the coaches notes, or general intro area please

Very often coaches own library links are needed as reference, for example access to the national federations approved S&C workouts, or a range of weights / reps for different athlete types, or weights.

For example my current S&C covers 6 weight categories across male and female, and 3 cyclist types, all around, climber and sprinter. I simply cannot create that many S&C workouts. PLUS can we add a percent of…

  11. Currently coaches are limited to creating visible recurring workouts only. It would be great to have an option to create hidden recurring workouts and unhide them as needed. Or or delete them, just how it can be done with normal recurring workouts.

  15. I think that there is a need for many coaches when we have to program trail runing sessions. Nowadays we can program with time or distance, but running in the mountains implies take into acsount the slope.
It's important introduce programming with slope and maximum climb speed.

  16. Utilize multiple units for workouts. Currently you can only use one unit; pace, power, heart rate, RPE. Utilizing multiple units would enable a coach to get more creative with workouts.

  17. PROBLEM
All workouts created using the Workout builder look the same. You cant tell if its Power, HR or RPE based.

    SOLUTION:
on the calendar, a workout will have a small icon showing if its based on Power, HR or RPE at a glace!

    If you build a:
Bike workout based on Heart Rate - a 'Red Heart' will show
Bike workout based on Power - a 'Lightning bolt' will show
Bike workout based on RPE - a 'RPE chart' will show

    WHY?
    1. At a glance on the calendar you KNOW what's slated for our athletes
    2. Your athletes…

  18. Have an option that if an athlete walks away or just disconnects from a coach the last 3-6 months' worth of programming gets deleted too? Not the data so what they did would still be there but the workouts that the coaches have spent time creating. So easy for someone to just leave and then go to another coach who potentially has access to all your workouts. On the flip side of that if a coach removes an athlete then there is the option for these to be deleted or not.
As coaches, we spend a good bit of money…

  19. Upload a CSV File with all of the fields required for a running structured workout. I believe this should be quite simple and most of the people whom I've worked with have things structured on Excel and therefore the conversion to CSV is straight forward provide ease for the user and giving the community the opportunity to provide more information and help the platform grow even faster.

  20. In Workout builder currently power can only be expressed as a percentage (%) of some key metrics (e.g. LTHR). However for some key testing sessions, like ramp tests Absolute values need to be entered. Garmin workout builder already does this. It would be useful in TP too to enable structured tests to be used.
