  1. There’s the comment function on work outs, but a chat with your coach option would be great, just for talking about what my next target is etc, currently it either ends up going into comments on work outs or we use notes, just being able to reply to a note would be great

  3. Other online training apps have the cool feature of creating groups or community forms where the athletes can share their progress and talk about their training. I think this would create a tighter knit community for the athletes and help the coaches business. Similar to Strava's club feature and Myfitnesspals group feature.

  5. Being able to add short (i.e. 60-90") audio messages directly on training blocs and/or Notes would boost the efficiency of communications.

Those short audio recording could be added to all 3 sections (training description / Pre-activity / Post-Activity) or simply ONE audio recording

Because sometimes, the best way to communicate something is through your voice!

  6. As someone who works with a lot of junior athletes and has to worry about communication from a safesport perspective, it would be awesome to see an in-app messenger. This would allow all communication to take place in one central location and allow parents to monitor all communication.

  7. Many times an athlete writes a comment in a workout or I see something within a workout that makes me want to make another change or something else I need to come back to. I would like the ability to keep the notifications so I can have a reminder to come back to that workout for further review or action.

    • allow the Coach to view the Subjective feedback scale (right now it's very small and not very apparent)
    • create a Subjective feedback dashboard chart to track RPE trends.
    • allow Subjective feedback as a Calendar layout view (on desktop) to allow easy scanning of RPE trends from calendar without opening Quickview or Analyze

  8. dont let athletes respond to coaches comments via email.

For example, TP generates an email letting the athlete know that I have commented on their workout. Instead of replying to my comment on TrainingPeaks, they instead reply via email, which derails the conversation and makes it hard to go back and look at a reply chain that now exists, in pieces, in 2 places.

  9. I noticed yesterday when one of my athlete used the new limited availability feature, it generated an email to me as their coach that they place this limited availability note on their calendar. I thought his was great, and request that the same occur with the regular note feature. Currently the only way I know when an athlete leaves a standard note is if I see it on their calendar. Thanks.

  10. Currently, all software for tracking performance provide duration in each heart rate zone and the % of time spent in each heart rate zone of an entire run/ride.

However, to track progress, it would be beneficial to know the average pace run in each each heart rate zone. This would be an important metric to monitor as it would capture average pace in Zone 2 for example and this could be compared to past runs to reflect progress or lack of

  12. Update: Seems this is really a Garmin issue. I can get the structured workouts from TrainingPeaks into Garmin Connect and it shows up on my calendar. But I see no way to select that workout and go through it on Tacx.

[Original] I would like to seamlessly upload a TrainingPeaks workout into the Garmin ecosystem so that I can use that workout on my Tacx Neo 2 trainer. I really enjoy the trainer and that I don't have to think so much about my workout (before I was watching the clock, the power, etc.) I've not found a way to…

  13. I recommend putting in a stand alone inbox for the management of athlete communication. If the inbox has adjustable setting on what notifications you would like to see this would be even better so you could turn off all the workout upload notifications and metric notifications.
The current setup of notifications that training peaks has it is easy to lose messages whereas a standalone inbox allows you to see all athlete communication a lot easier.
A search function would further improve functionality allowing you to search for certain athletes or time periods, read or unread messages will improve functionality.

  14. When your entering a NOTE in the calender it is visible for everybody.
You have the option not to make it visible for the athlete but other coaches can still see the note.

I would like the option to hide the note for other coaches as well.
"Visible for other coaches" - button

Because you can't use "coachs journal" on mobile devices. And it gets full very fast or you have to delete maybe important notes.

  15. Basic athletes recieve notifications when the coach gives feedback on a session. Feedback is an integral part of coaching and basic athletes are missing this because they do not know when a coach has commented on their session. They should get notifications without having to upgrade to premium and pay for it.

  19. A WARNING email to be sent to the the coach when an athlete misses two days of consecutive training (two red days).

This could be a setting for each athlete in the coaches settings areas.
