  1. Context: I'm riding a Peloton bike indoors and I use a Garmin watch. To sync the performance data of my Peloton (power meter), I use https://syncmyworkout.com.

    Problem: My watch recording posts to Garmin Connect and this immediately gets sent to TrainingPeaks. Then later SyncMyWorkout merges that watch recording with the Peloton workout, uploads the merged file to Garmin (which is then sent to TrainingPeaks) and then deletes the original watch recording in Garmin. During this process two workouts have been sent onwards to TrainingPeaks and thereby creating a double entry in Training Peaks.

  5. Being able to view TSS for a workout in real-time by wearing a compatible HRM with the TrainingPeaks mobile app open. This might require a feature like "record" or "track" for a workout in real-time. For example, Whoop offers a live strain score.

  7. I use different shoes for indoor and outdoor training. When planning I already know which pair of shoes I'll be wearing.

    I would like to be able to select my shoes during the planning phase, especially for recurring trainings. I can validate or change/modify it when I deviate from the planned shoes when I do the actual training.

  8. For a lot of my activities like hiking and ski mountaineering (big days), I do not have an option to add in weight carried. I think this would be a really good metric to have on workouts to help quantify times and variations due to things like extra carried weight. Having this (or any type of customizeable field) that I can see when I look at the calendar view would be very helpful.

  9. The new widgets are nice but I’m not really interested in my training plan for today. I want to see tomorrow but have to use the huge widget to get that info and it takes up way too much space.

  11. With the coming addition of TP subscriptions and payment systems for our athletes, there is one other addition which would allow us to fully shift from outside providers to TP. Currently we use StudioBookings for payments and for booking in to our squad sessions. It would be great if when we create sessions on TrainingPeaks, there could be someway that we make it a "face-to-face OR online squad" session where clients (and casuals) can book in and attend.

    On the TP Home Page that shows all athletes ...

    Current functionality only displays one week of future programming /training.

    This is insufficient for multi-week training management.
    Request extending the future view to two or three weeks to facilitate better planning, scheduling, and alignment with coaching objectives.

  14. At one point I got a much more accurate power meter. I would like peak performances to only reflect workouts since I got that power meter. It is cumbersome to click delete many old peaks that I know is too high. One idea is that I as user can define a date from which the workouts should be considered for peak performances.

  15. Is there a chance that we can get a daily calorie intake in Matrics? Or is it possible to integrate calorie consumption based on the zones or heart rate zones using laboratory diagnostics, as other platforms already do? It would also be helpful if you had food options in each workout - in short, you need to consume 50 g of carbohydrates per hour today

  17. It would be wonderful if there was a way to import only certain sessions from a training plan into the calender. For example, only all swimming sessions from a triathlon plan because you are only a relay swimmer.

    You could also, for example, import all swimming and cycling sessions from a triathlon plan and import a pure running plan in parallel if you want to prepare for a running event. This would allow a more individualized training design without having to manually delete sessions.

    Perhaps it would be possible to ask the user which training weeks (and sports) should be…

  18. It would be great to be able to add a holiday or Race/Events to a generic calendar for the entire training season or year and have that appear in the calendars of all athletes you wish to apply it to. This avoids having to add them for each athlete individually and thus saves time.

  19. Trainingpeaks have been a key component for my long covid recovery and it has been perfect to plan and track exercises with highly detailed metrics. I’ve in parallel used InsideTracker to keep track of blood tests and nutrition. It would be great if the macronutrients tracking from InsideTracker could be synced/imported into TrainingPeaks. (Since InsideTracker is great at keeping track of blood tests (and giving advice), some metrics would also be great to import. Cholesterol, cortisol..) But a way to sync TP and IT would be amazing.

  20. Given that more and more applications are integrating with training peaks.

    Some like Fuel-In, build a daily schedule based upon the time a workout should occur. For example, Fuel-In builds a schedule of what macro nutrients you should eat for a given meal. The timing of the workout is important.

    It would be nice to set be able to set a default time for all workouts entered.

    This is a user feature, not a coach feature.
