  1. Is there a way to communicate with the coach? For example, can I ask him general questions within the Training Peaks App (not externally via email, of course I can always do that)? The answer is no.

    And secondly, can I ask him specific questions about a workout in the future? The only option I see is to leave a post workout comment, but what if I have a question about a specific workout in the future, do I need to ask this question via the 'post workout comment' field (and will he get notified if I ask a question?)…

  2. Add ability to set and display power AND heart rate ranges for a workout.
    Rather than having to choose between one metric or the other.

    This is important for advances athletes where both metrics are important.
    This was well used feature available in Todays Plan which is sadly miossed.

  3. I have recently found it a useful starting point to use AI to assist with athlete analysis . At the moment I do this by copying the contents of my athletes' comments for each workout over for example the last 90 days and paste the workout description and post-activity comments into the likes of ChatGPT and Claude …..the analysis gives me a good starting point for coaching tips and insights that can be very quickly made.

    I am not saying this replaces my own analysis but would be a good feature for us to be able to export comments etc…

  4. Not only making this a mode, but offering additional sport thresholds to be set. I train motorsports athletes and they have a specific threshold higher than biking and running. I would like to be able to set different parameters for their primary sport.

  5. Have an option that if an athlete walks away or just disconnects from a coach the last 3-6 months' worth of programming gets deleted too? Not the data so what they did would still be there but the workouts that the coaches have spent time creating. So easy for someone to just leave and then go to another coach who potentially has access to all your workouts. On the flip side of that if a coach removes an athlete then there is the option for these to be deleted or not.
    As coaches, we spend a good bit of money…

  8. As a coach. It happens very often that i have to create the same race events for several athletes during the Atp creation/edit. this leads to a duplication and wasting of time. i suggest to split event creations in a shared season calendar and the athlete specific goal for that event in his own ATP so to reuse the events already created.

  9. I'm a physical therapist and endurance coach; most of my clients are doing endurance training and strength/mobility training and/or rehabilitation exercises at the same time. It sure would be nice to not have to use 2-3 different platforms for each client. I know this sort of thing is in process; I'd love to know when it will be made available.

  10. It would be great to have the ability to bulk delete items from a calendar. One of my athletes just connected her HRV4Training app and it dumped two months of history on one day, which skewed her data pretty badly. It would be nice (for me or her) to not have to go through and delete all these one by one. Also if an athlete has covid and I need to wipe their workouts off their calendar for several weeks, this would also be useful.

  11. Allow equipment changes during the session. For example, I do my warm-up with one pair of shoes and after that, I switch to my spikes or race shoes. Maybe a manual interface, where you enter the distances for each piece of equipment.

  12. Upload a CSV File with all of the fields required for a running structured workout. I believe this should be quite simple and most of the people whom I've worked with have things structured on Excel and therefore the conversion to CSV is straight forward provide ease for the user and giving the community the opportunity to provide more information and help the platform grow even faster.

  13. Future workouts are not shown on the TSS by Week chart like they are on the Duration by Week chart. This has been posted before and shows as completed yet the response does not address the issue.

    It doesn't appear that those "working" these issues understand them.

  15. I would like designate specific daily activities that auto-import from Garmin Connect (Meditation for instance) to come in with a TSS of 0. Perhaps this could be done by adding a workout that is set to ignore TSS/IF?

  17. When a coach has an assistant coach on their TrainingPeaks, the assistant should have access to that coach's custom workout libraries. I realize you can share libraries with other coaches, however I sometimes train new coaches with my company, and giving them access to my frequently updated and edited library of workouts would be immensely helpful to new and assistant coaches.

  18. I want to change layout in laps+splits for example the order of categorys(and skip some), because I mainly use NP+ Avg Power. to much categorys makes it hard to see the ones I want. example 2 I never use AVG speed and a lot of others etc.

  20. In my part of the world we sometimes refer to the different weeks as the week number, for instance the school refers to which week is vacation. My coach also refers to which week that has some test and so on. This leads to myself cross referencing dates and weeks as well as adding notes some times of which week it is.

    It would be great if the ISO week number could be added somewhere in the calendar view, for instance under the "Week Controls" button.
