TELEPORT BUTTON TO RETURN TO selected pacer
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this feature is already fully supported by TrainingPeaks Virtual. Simply select the "Join" option from the action bar at the bottom of the screen (or if using a keyboard, you can press the hotkey 'J' for (J)oin), and you can then join any pacer at any time. You can also use this to join any friends you follow, or any team mates if in a team.

Group event with custom created workout for all participants
When you choose to do a new group ride, you can choose the default created workouts as a group workout. Would love to see that you can create your own workout based on %FTP and assign that to all participants.

As another commenter has noted, this is already fully supported in TrainingPeaks Virtual. Simply select to create a "Group Workout" event, and you can then pick a workout which all entrants can then ride together.

Option for save/discard ride & starting moment
- We should have the change to save/discard a ride and not being automatically saved. Sometimes an erro occurs and we don't want to save it and to be uploaded to TP and other platforms
- The activity should only starts when starting pedalling Thanks

Both of these are now fully supported in the latest release out this week.

Bug: App doesn't launch when a Stryd running power meter is within Bluetooth range.
I couldn't start Trainingpeaks virtual on either iOS or Windows. It would always get stuck at "Verifying Content".
After looking at the log file on Windows it seems that it was trying to connect to my Stryd running power meter. It would try to connect, fail and the try again getting stuck in a loop.
When I moved the Stryd out of Bluetooth range the the app started fine.
The Windows log file is attached.1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this has now been implemented in the latest release. This release significantly reworks the pairing process to enable support for a wider range of devices and multi-user environments where there are many different devices all in the same room.
This should address the vast majority of the pairing issues previously experienced, but if there are any specific devices that TrainingPeaks Virtual still does not recognise, then please feel free to raise a new UserVoice suggestion for that specific device so we can investigate and add support for you.

[Consistency report] - Revise Ride descriptions
Revise Ride descriptions to use consistent feature language.
For instance, in 'Little Loops' the lake is described as 'southern lake'.
In 'Flat Eight' the same lake is described as 'South Lake'.
'Parry Vlo-Bae Reverse' has the desciption '?etuor gnidnuos railimaf siht tsiser nac ohW'Some descriptions are missing ending periods. Call me pedantic, but consistency here will add polish.

You can't link Training Peaks Virtual to Training Peaks to export workouts
When you are in TP and click Add Connection you are presented with a bunch of options (Garmin, Wahoo, Zwift) as well as Training Peaks Virtual, when you click the link under Training Peaks Virtual, it doesn't actually do anything, it just takes you to a signup/download page.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Data in TrainingPeaks and TrainingPeaks Virtual are automatically synchronised between the two applications as one seamless experience. There is therefore nothing extra you need to do to link them - it all automatically Just Works (TM).

Issues with Power and cadence readings and a suggestion re routes
Have use TPV twice. Generally impressed but two glitches and one suggestion.
1) Power - When doing ERG power based sessions keep getting alerts that power has dropped 30 watts when there is no apparent cause for this.
2) Cadence - first ride the recorded cadence was often 20rpm higher than it should be then dropped back to the correct level. Second session - cadence was generally 20rpm higher for most of the session.
Suggestion - I was doing a Recovery 1 hour session today and the route (chosen automatically) was very hilly. As a result I was crawling up…1 voteMany thanks for your suggestions and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Actually, all of these are already fully implemented.
1 & 2) By default TrainingPeaks Virtual shows the raw data being broadcast by your paired devices. For some makes/models of trainer/cadence sensor these can be quite erratic, and so TrainingPeaks Virtual offers the ability to instead show smoothed average values which will be much more stable. Simply select this option from the Main Menu > Options > UI Settings menu.
3) For the route, then you can select this from the main menu. Just pick whatever route you want from the list shown, and then select to ride your workout and it will take you along whatever route you chose.

Other then trainer powermeter
I've noticed that the saved activity at TP shows the trainer power data and not my pedal or crank powermeter when i choose them as preferred during my TP Virtual ride. I didn't find any way of change it.
It should save the powermeter data that we choose as preferred power. Thanks1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
The FIT files already include both the trainer power and powermeter power (a true dual-recording single file!), however not all 3rd party platforms can read this yet. You can however view all the data in applications like Golden Cheetah, or https://dualrecording.com

Privacy settings
It would be nice to put a training ride on "private", so that your followers can not see that ride.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
You can actually already do this in TrainingPeaks Virtual using "incognito mode" - from the Main Menu, select Options > UI Settings
This will hide your name and you can train without anyone knowing that is you.

Crank lengt for correct measure crank torque
I believe that the crank length setting is missing to properly display the crank torque value.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Crank length is already factored into the analysis for Torque calculations. This data however is obtained from the configuration used by your powermeter pedals - so if the pedals are configured incorrectly, then the Torque calculation will also be incorrect.
For accurate data, please use your pedal powermeter manufacturer's app to set the correct crank length before riding.

Resistance and gears
I tried the TP Virtual, liked it, but struggled with resistance settings (non ERG) and playing with the virtual gears/settings.
My workouts as recommended by my coach would be done non-ERG. Compared to Zwift when doing non-ERG workout, I find that being in the same chainring and cogs (around mid way +/- 1 or 2) feels either harder or too easy. And that's when I used the virtual gear. The resistance would feel off and just different coming from Zwift. Not sure what to do but I'd like to be able to use this TP Virtual. Another question is, what…
1 voteMany thanks for your feedback and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
The way that Virtual Gearing works on TrainingPeaks Virtual is different to any other platform - in particular, it works with any make and model of trainer, and doesn't need any additionally hardware. This means that it will feel slightly different, but as you note, it's just a question of being in a slightly different gear from other platforms.
The big power number in the centre is the instantaneous power being broadcast by your trainer - if you'd prefer it to be smoothed out so it doesn't jump around so much, then you can already select to display an average over 1, 3, 5 or 10 seconds by selecting that option from the Main Menu > Options > UI Settings menu.

Taxc bushido smart trainer won’t connect to Apple TV application, works perfectly with iPhone version
On the pairing screen my tax bushido smart trainer won’t connect to Apple TV application, ie the application is unable to detect it, the trainer connects and works perfectly with the iPhone version. I use the North Pole engineering CABLE device so Bluetooth limitations should t affect me.

FPV (View 3) is not correct
I prefer to ride in FPV, or have till I started with TPV. Besides finding the bar ends visible in this view as annoying/distracting, the view angle is just not right. The perception point needs to be higher as currently it seems you would be lying on your top tube with a focal point of the rump of the rider in front of you. It does not align with the the upright position of the avatar, or even someone in the drops (which is what I suspect you were going for).

You can already adjust the height of the First Person View to be exactly as you would like it - either crouched down showing lots of handlebar, further up showing none, or anywhere inbetween.

Battery consumption is extremely high on smartphone
My Android smartphone had 86% battery when I started a one hour TP Virtual session comprising circa 15 minutes setting up the app UI, then 45 minutes of cycling. At the end my battery was on 36%. Ie: half the battery was consumed in one hour.
For comparison, when I previously used Wattbike Hub instead of TP Virtual I would expect a circa 10-20% battery drain.
The device became very warm to the touch, indicating the CPU is being hammered.

It is very likely that this is caused by your phone being configured to run at a very high frame rate, causing it to max out the CPU / GPU to try and achieve this.
You can however already choose to run at a much lower frame rate which will conserve the battery - from the Main Menu, select Options > Graphics Settings > Frame Rate and change it to a low value (e.g. 20 FPS Max).
From the same menu, turning VSync on, and other settings down will also have a significant impact on limiting the battery drain.

1 voteMany thanks for your suggestions and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
The ability to increase / decrease the difficulty of a workout, and/or to toggle on / off ERG mode, are already fully supported in TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Simply select the icons which are on the action menu (tap the bottom middle of the screen, or hover a mouse over there, to view it). If you have a keyboard, you can use the hotkeys +, -, and E respectively.
