  1. I use the pace bots for longer paced rides on different routes to the existing pace bot rides.
    At present the only option is the Keirin bot that brakes you if you pass it.
    I’d like an option to toggle that on/off - maybe that bot is only for Keirin…. Or cannot be unchecked if it’s a Keirin but for other events you can choose the way the bot works and whether you can pass it or not

  2. Could we make this a feature request please?

    The team I race with would prefer to see our stats as they are within the race not including the "Pen Time"

    I realise some are happy to see it all together so I'm not suggesting you don't give folks the option.

    In Rouvy for example the "warm up" (Pen Time) and warm downs are optionally recorded as separate FIT files and sent to strava/intervals that way. You can flag how you want it to behave within the settings in Rouvy

  3. When connecting accessories, my Kickr Rollr does not have a power profile as on Zwift. I can only use the speed sensor and it’s WAY out. In fact, I’m chewing my bars on the velodrome and with 10 mph registering. Zwift (sorry to swear) have a ZPower profile for the Kickr Rollr and I therefore beg for this on here and then I will be with you for all my training, Many thanks in advance.

  4. Before hand I had signed up for all 4 "Wednesday Omnium" races. Warm-up and first two races went without any issues, but when I joined the 3rd race I got the error message of:
    "Already connected.
    Your account is already connected in another session.

    Please log out on your other session, and then try again."

    I was sent to the menu. And I tried multiple times to join, but got the same error message. And after the pen had closed I joined to "free ride" without any issue.

  5. I am impressed by how much the terrain/wind feed back into the feel of the training. I like it very much more than Zwift. My power reporting seems much more realistic.

    I found two things, though, that I think you may want to look at.

    1. I paired my Bontrager Duotrap 2 with the platform. While it paired and looked like it was going to work, I got zeros for cadence in my reporting. This is very much like when I tried to pair my Duotrap 2 with my Garmin Edge 530 as a Cadence sensor and not as a Speed/Cadence…

  7. Just started using virtual gearing and love it but would like to see a + / - option on the remote control screen to avoid bringing up the main menu, moving to the + or - and then hitting enter. I found I can also do it on the screen with a mouse click but that also isn't real convient when going hard and trying to move the mouse around. A simple extra + and - on the remote screen would be ideal since it would be 1 click either way during a hard effort.

  8. I program in TP( Premium)training based only on heart rate and set intervals for time and heart rate and comment incline %- as there is no option to add that, while using planned training with Virtual World it was impossible to put more incline (wahoo climb) and it was adding and removing resistance every 5s, I switched to only data training mode. When using that mode, speed is incorrect (I same time had turned on wahoo app- when had 28.4kph on wahoo, I saw on TPV 4kph. Also there is no information about incline.

  10. I've used Training Peaks Virtual regularly for a few months now its great. One thing that bugs me is that on iPad OS, each week the update is a mandatory update. While its great that the updates are so frequent, when they don't update automatically its a pain to spend a few minutes loading, then being told you need to go to the App Store to update and then the App Store may not even realise there is a new update.

  11. In TPV v0.4.19 this was released:

    • Improved handling of badly formatted workout files.

    Which went a bit too far with the improvement and broke also properly formatted XML files with self-closing tags.

    The XML Parser should allow those, instead we get this now:

    The 'workout_file' start tag on line 2 position 2 does not match the end tag of 'tags'. Line 9, position 3.

    Now the issue is that all the ZWO files I have, have that tags/ there, so nothing works until I fix it manually.

    This used to be working before v0.4.19.

    Please fix?

  12. When using the app on a phone, if the app is minimized for any reason (such as answering a phone call or switching to Chrome for a second), the workout is immediately completed when returning to the app due to a connection loss.

  13. When not in the front of a TT race, if the leader passes the NEXT checkpoint before I do, then I don’t get to see my current checkpoint timing with respect to nearby teams. Quite unfortunate. I don’t care about the leader, unless I’m near the leader

Regularly throughout my ride I have periods lasting from 2 to 15 seconds where the avatar stops pedaling and loses speed (sometimes stopping entirely), even while my power and cadence readings from my trainer are continuing as normal in the TPV UI. This is especially noticeable on climbs, and this is often followed by the avatar jumping forward and backward on the road. If this happens at higher speed, such as in a pace group, my avatar falls off the back of the group like it stopped pedaling. This makes it very difficult to train in a group or do…

  17. Rider locations often overlap the power and elevation charts at the bottom so it's hard to see where everyone is behind me until they're right next side or in front. Can you move the display to just above the charts?

  18. I want to see my heat acclimation, but indoors is difficult unless I double record my ride on my Garmin (which is annoying at best), but if I could pair a Bluetooth enabled room temperature monitor that would be awesome 👏🏻

  20. At the moment, the TPV Hub online does not include the ranking history graphs, like exists in the game. I think it would be great to include that as well as maybe defining the ranking changes within the race history of each race.
