There have definitely been some unwelcome changes to the way ERG works in the latest update. I'm also sure that there is an effect by the route profile on how the resistance is applied. E.g. I was riding warmup on ERG around 150w when the downhill came, this dropped to 116w for a bit before it settled again on an unsteady 150w.
