Interval counter on Suunto's structured workouts
I'm currently training using structured workouts created in TrainingPeaks and pushed to my Suunto watch as Suunto Plus Guide and the current implementation for intervals doesn't display interval counter.
Say you created a workout with 2K warmup + 8x400 meters with 200 meters recovery in between, the request is to have indicators of where I'm on the intervals , meaning 1/8 interval, 1/8 recovery, 2/8 interval etc, basically the interval counter.
I've discussed this already with TP support and I was advised to post here.
Also this isn't up to Suunto to add, rather, Suunto's guides API allows that.20 votes -
Automatic bike selection based on ANT/BLE IDs
As a cyclist with several bikes, I'd like TrainingPeaks to be able to automatically select which bike I am using, so I can better track the wear and tear on my equipment.
In .fit files, it's possible to read the ANT+/BLE sensor serial numbers, so I think it would be relatively straightforward to link specific bikes to specific sensors.

As we now have our daily health status synched. It would be amazing if we can have our rest heartrate as well
Would be super to also have REST hear rate synched to TP as we are now able to synch healt status as well. It is extremly important for caches and athletes to track rest HR for training.

Apple Watch swim data is wrong
The Apple Watch integration uses the wrong data for pool swim activities. Instead of using the full activity time, the time used is active swimming time with breaks removed. As breaks are accounted for in TP sessions, when I complete a pool swim session, it is usually too short in time. e.g. if I have a swim session that is 52 minutes, the TP app will sync data that is only 39 minutes, as that is the swimming time. (see attached)

apple watch
Dear TrainingPeaks Support Team,
I am writing to report a specific issue I am experiencing with the integration of the TrainingPeaks app and my Apple Watch.
While the overall integration seems to be functioning correctly, I am encountering a problem with the display of pace targets. Specifically, the pace targets do not appear on Apple Watch. However, I want to mention that the targets for heart rate are displaying as expected, which suggests that the issue is isolated to pace targets. And yes, i'm using outdoors training
This issue is particularly impacting my training, as I rely heavily on pace…

offline mode for mobile apps
I would like to be able to see upcoming and recent workouts (7 days in either direction would be nice).
Use cases include sitting on a plane, or when I'm roaming and trying to minimize data usage.

Web version on iPad
Would love the ability to run the web version on an iPad without having it default to the app version. This is especially helpful from a coaching vantage!

Allow me to manually attach workout data
My Apple Watch data often ends up detached from the actual prescribed workout regardless of if I set the workout to the same description. This is manageable however it then also likes to sometimes take the watch data from the first workout of the day and attach it to the second one instead of the first. I then can not detach the data and make it separate or better attach it to the correct workout. I feel that manually being able to attach HR data/edit the attachment is something that could easily be integrated and would make my life and…

Select workout types to sync
I would like to select which workout types to sync from my Apple Watch. I often track walks/hikes but don’t want that to be added to my TrainingPeaks profile

external heart rate monitor
Indication for using an external heart rate device.
Explanation: TP doesn't indicate when the athlete uses the heart rate from his/her watch or from a real external heart rate monitor.
Since the watch measurements are not accurate, I would like to have an indication on the session what was the source of the heart rate data.5 votes -

Automatic sync with Apple iPhone. The ability for the app to sync with my workouts is poor at best.
Improved sync with Apple iPhone. I consistently have issues uploading workouts to the app. Often workouts are missed. This makes me less likely to engage in purchase of programs. Fix this issue and I would absolutely reconsider

Some suggested tweaks to TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ App
Hi there
I have the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ App and use it 4 times a week on my structured plan.
I am enjoying the workouts and am benefitting from them
I would like to suggest a couple of tweeks to the app though.1 Could it be made to have cadence on the page as a lot of the workouts have a cadence target also.
2 Could the app be made a 2 page item with the second page being the workout summary as sometimes it is useful to have a reminder of what the upcoming segments are
3…3 votesOnce you are performing the workout you are no longer in the TrainingPeaks CIQ app, instead you are back in Garmin’s workout interface. We are not able to directly make any modifications to Garmin’s workout interface, but we can send your feedback to the the team at Garmin. We have already sent them a request that at least one of the data fields on the workout screen be customizable. This would allow you to add cadence to that screen. Until then, you can still access all the other data screens on your Garmin device, just page left/right or up/down as usual. Even when not on the workout screen, you will still get in/out of range alerts and notifications when starting the next step along with what the new target is. You can also create a custom page with cadence and most of the workout fields. When adding data fields to…

trainingpeaks ConnectIQ App - existing device support (or lack thereof)
The new ConnectIQ app (released today) does not support the 920XT/Fenix3 and most other devices of that generation.
Given that the 935 and the Fenix5 devices have only been released in the very recent past...that means that your "new" app supports only a very small percentage of the real Garmin / TP user community. I understand the desire/need to announce support for the 935 on launch day....
...but, NOT providing support for the actual current userbase at the same time is VERY LAME.
3 votesThe app uses a few new features of the Connect IQ 2.2 SDK, which allows content to be downloaded, stored, and executed on the device. Unfortunately, the 920XT and Fenix 3 are both CIQ 1.x devices, so our app will not run on those devices.
Currently the supported devices are:
Edge 1000, 820, & 520
FR935
FR735XT – pending a firmware update
Fenix 5 – all variants
Fenix Chronos – pending a firmware updateIf you have a Fenix 3 or 920XT you can still get workouts from TrainingPeaks on to your device. I agree that it is a lot of steps, but you could do this in batch once or twice a week to save some time.
