Rethink user experience to ease onboarding and use
A user of Rouvy for years, with dabbles in Zwift, Wahoo System, etc., and I’d largely settled on TrainerRoad for the past few years due to its clarity in use. Simple on screen graphics, informative, etc.
But it does get a bit boring, so I was excited to try the TPVirutal. Oooff. All notes are using iPad Pro with latest version.
- Login screen does not remember me, even when the box is checked. It’s a pain to have to login each time with user name and password. And using biometrics would be nice for login.
- Font selection is brutal. Looks fuzzy, should likely not be bold in so many cases.
- Would be great to have some way to understand what the differences are between ride, pace, train, events, challenges, etc. And Profile and Options should not be part of this menu as they are not ride selections.
- most settings options are inscrutable. Level of Detail Bias?
- 2nd monitor options could be cool, but when selected showed the sky (maybe) behind me or when I selected left showed everything tilted. No easily located option to adjust.
- why would anyone select spectate? and what is that doing?
- what is the chapeau thing all about
- why would one take a jpg of this
- if I select spectate, there seems to be no way to leave that mode without killing the app.
- when training, it would be nice to be able to select the different on screen widgets and either minimize them, close them, or reduce them.
- first login should prompt for connection to local devices.
- could not understand how to change the view of myself on the bike, was always from above in the rear.
Frustrating experience.
