  1. Auto-populate workouts using Excel

    It would be great and really easy if there was a method to automatically upload an excel file and it auto-populate into the software for a client to view the workouts.

    For example, if there was a template with a column for date, time, workout type etc. then a column for the workout itself. Then you populate the template and could just drag the file into TP and it auto-populates into the athletes calender.

    This would make programming so easy and simple instead of having to do all the manual work of pressing all the different buttons, dragging workouts, editing,…

  2. Allow post workout comments via email

    As is possible on many forums, direct messages can be responded to via the notification email simply by replying.

    Having the same option for post-workout commenting for coaches would be an immensely helpful tool.

    Many times questions need to be asked before meaningful data review can happen.

    In other cases, meaningful data review doesn't need to happen beyond summary data, for simpler workouts.

    Being able to communicate with athletes more quickly and have it be displayed on that workout for all time in the future, rather than just in an unrelated email response chain would facilitate better and more frequent…

  3. Cancel file size limit

    The limit of uploading files until 20 MB is very low. 15 hours of bike with position, power and HR , in TCX file (only one available for Polar exportations) is bigger than that. The limit needs to be raised or extinguished

  4. Master and secondary workouts

    My idea/proposal is to be able to create a 'Master' workout, then if you copy this workout and place it in your calendar say 10 times (secondary workouts) when you make a change/update to the master workout this is automatically pushed through to all the secondary workouts. Currently I believe you would need to edit each of the 10 workouts individually.
    A further development of this concept would be to have recurring workouts, with perhaps the possibility to increase volume/intensity by X% for each occurence to fit in with periodisation.

  5. Need to be able to Adjust Form to Reflect Illness

    When ill or injured, form increases rapidly as workouts drop, when in reality form could be terrible. When form doesn't drop as needed, it can prompt workouts that are too much too soon. I want to be able to adjust my form to -30 for example post surgery or illness so I fade in my workouts. Waiting 60 days for form to "normalize" is just too long.

  6. Merge information from various sources (duplicates of the same activity, but with different sensors)

    When cycling, outside or in Zwift, the activity may be recorded on multiple devices (e.g. Zwift, Garmin Edge, Polar Vantage, etc.).
    These devices record from different sensors, e.g. Zwift might record power from my trainer, "virtual GPS" and elevation, while Garmin Edge records from my power meter as well as my glucose sensor (through Nightscout).
    Now the information is spread across multiple files which are imported one by one.
    The result is that WKO5 believes I have exercised a lot more than I actually have, and I struggle to create dashboards that merge the information from all files of a…

  7. Build Structured Workouts on iPad and iPhone.

    I would love to build workouts from my iPad. An update to enable this function would be most welcomed. It would also set TP apart from the competition :-).

  8. Connect equipment to sport

    It would be awesome if you could connect default equipment to a sport. If a default bike is a racebike and yoi go mountainbiking you always have to change the equipment in the workout file from racebike to mountainbike. If you can connect the mountainbike as the default bike for mountainbiking, you would not have to change it anymore. Same for shoes. You could connect specific trailrunning shoes as the default equipment for trailrunning.

  9. Training metrics for strength

    With cycling workouts there are metrics like ftp, tss, ctl, tsb for tracking progress. Strength workouts offer entering cal, tss, and IF to track progress. Unfortunately these metrics are either impossible to figure out (tss and IF) or not the most useful (cal).

    Lbs,reps,sets, time under tension would be a good start to tracking. However truly tracking progress comes from evaluating tonnage, INOL, Lbs per rep, 1RM. I currently track these on excel sheets but would love to see it on TrainingPeaks to watch them progress along side my cycling data.

  10. Peak Performances centralized location

    It would be useful if there was a central location to find all peak performances for the individual athlete. Instead, you either have to scroll through the calendar for that athlete or scroll through the home page to find an athlete's peak performances. Perhaps a Peak Performances tab could be incorporated in the athlete's settings where it has their zones or as one of the tabs at the top of the page along with Home, Calendar, Dashboard, and ATP.

    Have local Air Quality Index automatically pulled into Training Peaks, if workout is uploaded with GPS data. AQI can have an effect on Heart Rate.

  15. Workout nutrition intake

    Hello, It would be great to be able to input nutritional intake goals for workouts (calories, carbs, sodium etc) in my athlete profile, just like my FTP and pace times. Then taking IF and body weight into account, have TP auto populate what should be the planned total intakes into all planned workouts, in the same section with target FTP or pace times. Hope this makes sense. I explained in better in my initial contact with the help desk (#415971).

  16. iOS widget displaying the big 3 (CTL, ATL & TSB)

    Simple 2x2 widget for the Home Screen that displays the big 3 metrics (CTL - Fitness, ATL - Fatigue & TSB - Form).

    When a workout synchs to the TP app in the background the widget will update.

    Possibly customisable for larger widgets to include more data? 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Have a checkbox in the PMC on the dashboard that will display race days with a distinctive star or other icon, allowing a visual way to see how the metrics line up with planned races.

    Currently most metrics come across, but nutrition data synced via MFP doesn't. Please have this data sync to WKO (ideally everything, but even just kcal would be great)

  19. View Top 20 TSS in Peak Performance

    I would like to view the Top 20 TSS of all time. It would be nice if this was a category under the Peak Performance in the app. One way to include this would be to add another category under "Peak" to show "Power", "Heart Rate", then add "TSS". You could also add more categories like "IF" or even "Distance" and "Elevation". Thanks!

  20. Unmerge and Merge sessions

    I used to be able to unmerge a session if I'd recorded on multiple devices (ie. Zwift and Garmin). If one did not record using a certain censor, HR for example, and that recording uploaded first (automatically merging to my planned session) I would be able to unmerge that session and merge the correct recording and delete the one that I wouldn't need. Can't seem to find that option anymore - not sure if it's been taken away. If so, please can it be reintroduced!
