  1. It would be nice to compare all parameters side by side for similar workouts. For example, being able to compare 2-4 RT1 workouts from training plan. Or being able to compare multiple runs on a trail, etc.

  2. When selecting a workout type, it would be great to have an 'indoor bike' option. To use clearly as an indication to athletes to complete the session on an indoor trainer, rather than out on the road.

    Hi all,

    Sport Subtypes will now be auto assigned upon a completed file upload for Premium Athletes (Basic Athletes can still manually choose a subtype).

    Nothing you need to do here, the categorization will happen upon uploads.

  3. I have both a Garmin and an Apple Watch (as do athletes that I coach). I feel that the health metrics from the AppleWatch are richer than they are on Garmin. I've been sending mine to TrainingPeaks via HealthFit and it's generally working out pretty well. The only thing I don't really love is the data isn't aggregated to one daily metric per day. I'd HRV, Pulse for one, SPO2 for another Weight for another (and then I go combine into 1 EVERY DAY.

    Native support would make this process much easier.

  4. I don't see where the new strength workout includes TSS or IF for a completed workout. And it also seems that the auto sync for Apple and for Garmin doesn't pair either. Strength workouts add stress so they should have a TSS!

  5. There’s the comment function on work outs, but a chat with your coach option would be great, just for talking about what my next target is etc, currently it either ends up going into comments on work outs or we use notes, just being able to reply to a note would be great

  6. Ability to have uploaded strength workouts auto sync with the new strength programming sessions programmed for athletes in their programs as currently it keeps them separated and cannot lync/sync them together to be completed unless you check off each and every exercise.

  7. A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.

  10. I build my strength workouts using the new strength builder, but when my Garmin records the activity and comes through as an old strength activity, I cannot pair the two. Am I doing this wrong, or is this functionality not available yet?

  11. Currently once you start a workout which has been created in the new strength workout builder, you cannot alter some of the key parameters (e.g. adding sets, merging to create supersets, etc). This kind of functionality is so useful (and is built into the free versions of apps like 'Strength Log'). It would be great to have this available as part of the TP version.

    Also not sure why you can only create the workout on the desktop app, and then only execute it on the mobile app?

  12. add trail running/orienteering activity that calculates TSS directly from HR (hrTSS) since the use of rTSS in trail running/orienteering is not accurate because of the slower running speed at the same HR/perceived effort

  13. With TP's new strength builder, strength no longer contributes to the fitness summary chart in the dashboard or to hours on the ATP. I'd love to see this feature adjusted to reflect the work athletes put in.

    Hey gang - you can now edit & copy comments on iOS devices. We also added draft mode so you can start a comment, navigate away, and your text will be there waiting when you return.

    We're working to update our Android app accordingly.

I'd like to have keyboard shortcuts implemented to speed many common actions within TrainingPeaks from adding items to the calendar (workout, metrics, notes) to searching/selecting/adding from the Workout Library, switching athletes (for coaches), copy/paste, save changes (e.g. "Save & Close" a workout), and many more functions. Keyboard shortcuts along the lines of Gmail (i.e., extensive actions, pop-up shortcut guide) would be a great addition to TrainingPeaks!

  19. I just started using the newly built Strength option, and I have a few things which do bother me. Firstly, in the option where I can input my weights for a specific exercise, I cannot use decimal points, so there is no way for me to input for example 17.5kg, I tried it with pounds too, but there it is forbidden too. Secondly, If I start the Strength training in the application it starts the timer and when I end it it end, and at the end I get the time of my workout, this would be a good option…

  20. Traditional Strength Training recorded on an Apple Watch flows to TrainingPeaks as "others," which requires me to manually update the workout to Strength for my athletes (more are using the Apple Watch now). This seems to be a rather quick fix to make. Would it be possible for the TrainingPeaks Product team to look into it and get a fix?
