Support Metrics from Apple Health
I have both a Garmin and an Apple Watch (as do athletes that I coach). I feel that the health metrics from the AppleWatch are richer than they are on Garmin. I've been sending mine to TrainingPeaks via HealthFit and it's generally working out pretty well. The only thing I don't really love is the data isn't aggregated to one daily metric per day. I'd HRV, Pulse for one, SPO2 for another Weight for another (and then I go combine into 1 EVERY DAY.
Native support would make this process much easier.

I extensively track my sleep and nutrition using devices/apps that push data into Apple's HealthKit on my iPhone. TrainingPeaks seems to have places for this data -- and it would be useful for my coach to be able to see it there --, but the TrainingPeaks app is not smart enough to pull this data from HealthKit.
For example
- The TrainingPeaks iOS app could automatically pull sleep data from HealthKit and every day enter some measure of hours slept/sleep quality into TrainingPeaks. (Bonus: you could even compute your own "Body Battery" / "Body State" score using this data!)
- The trainingPeaks iOS app could automatically pull calories consumed from HealthKit and once-a-day post an entry into TrainingPeaks. (Note: please don't create separate entries for every logged meal/snack!)
- The training peaks iOS app could automatically pull active calories (i.e., calories burned from daily activity outside of logged workouts) and enter a daily "daily activity" entry into TrainingPeaks. (Again, please only make one summary entry per day -- I don't want to see the hundreds of 1-or-2 calorie additions that Apple Watch trickles in as I move around during the day.As always, please only do this if you also give me the option to individually enable/disable data importing by type (i.e., maybe I want you to pull nutrition but respect my privacy on sleep), and please let me choose whether you are pulling in historical data or only new data going forward.
Thanks!

Oura ring syncs nicely, but doesn't total the sleep for the day, so a day where I have 6h sleep and a 30 min nap it doesn't show on the graph as 6.5 hours, it shows as 6.5h AND 0.5h so the graph is like a seesaw and quickly becomes illegible and therefore useless for analysing trends and anomalies (see screenshot).

HRV status is not possible to retrieve from Apple Watch to TP. it works with garmin products and then it should be possible to do it with Apple Watch

Now we are use Apple Watch to track data. So can you get it to start tracking HRV and sleep

Import and synchronize metrics resting heart rate, sleep and body weight to import data from Apple health to TP

There a several ways in which your HRV data can be imported into TrainingPeaks.
Yet the most simple one, for Apple users where your HRV is measured with the iWatch and stored in the Health app, is not.
Please make the standard Apple HRV measurement also available in TrainingPeaks. -

A noob TP user here off the back of WWDC and Apple showcasing the upcoming improvements of WatchOS10, including TP workouts appearing on the watch.
What I don’t understand is the lack of TP integration with the Health app. You only seem interested in workout data and not reading additional data like weight, body fat, cardio fitness, blood pressure, RHR, blood oxygen, sleep etc, whilst expecting users to re-key this data into the daily ”metrics”.
Integration should be seamless if you want folks to pay for the premium product. More than happy to, if this existed.

Considering price and other cheaper alternatives sync it should be a priority

I’d like to have at least an informational API with apple health.

And weight, fat % and muscle mass as well would be very useful.

Josh, right now, you can do this with the HealthFit application and it works pretty well. With this request I was looking for a native integration.

Sleep tracking metrics from apple watch like you do from the WHOOP would be incredible

Add a few more options for the mobile TrainingPeaks app to read from the Health app for instance sleep data (other data options could be added too). With a growing number of wearables that now record your sleep pattern (for instance Oura ring) the app could read that data from the Health app as opposed to entering this data manually.
