  2. Consistent power is not always preferred. It would be great to have continuous ramps so that you can set a target power or HR for the start and end of an interval of any chosen length. E.g. warm-up starting at 60% FTP finishing at 75% FTP over 25m. Or, a 10m cool down, or an endurance session that starts at 65% and finishes at 80% 2h later.... There are a lot of ways this would be useful.

  3. Update current API integration of Garmin health:
Garmin is collecting various health data points which could be enabled in TP software these are:
    1.Steps.
    2.Intensity Minutes.
    3.Sleeping data.
    4.Stress.
    5.Hydration.
    6.Calories.
    7.HRV.
    8.Heart rate.
    9.Pulse Ox
    10.Body battery.
    11.Respiration.
    12.Body composition.
    13.RMR.
And make them update at the same time.

  4. Hi, I'm a Coach. I would like to suggest modifying the platform for coaches by giving the possibility to insert customized zones which are then automatically adapted to all of their athletes.
In my opinion it is absolutely necessary to have the possibility to automatically modify all the power and heart rate ranges.
A coach should be able to determine his own fixed setting for all athletes so once the anaerobic threshold and the anaerobic threshold power have been entered, the power and frequency ranges are automatically set (the percentages are obviously set by the coach when he starts to…

  5. I would like to add yoga and core/PT exercises to my calendar as a recurring activity. For instance, yoga every Tuesday and Thursday. I know we can copy and paste but the ability to add it once and have it be a recurring activity until a specified end date would be helpful.

  6. On iPad (or Android) when I go to add a workout to my schedule, I am unable to filter the workouts, but have to look through the entire list for the workout I want to use. I would like to be able to filter the same as in the website, by TSS and time when updating my schedule on a mobile device.

  7. If someone is busy on a certain day, it could be great if the coach or athlete could add "30m" or "1h" or "2h" availability to train, rather than simply blocking off a day as "unavailable" to train. Maybe a cyclist can usually do a 4-5h ride on the weekend, but on a particular week they can only fit in "2h" and it would be great to be able to mark this.

  8. Checking and fixing workout tags is a tiresome process on TP. Lamentably, many athletes forget or don't care about using the right sport-type profile on their head unit during workouts. I have a few suggestions:
    1) Move tags to the left area of the summary workout view. Long post-activity messages push them downwards, making it harder to remember to check them (see screenshot).
    2) Make them available on the Analyze view.
    3) Allow athletes' tags to be editable in their settings.

  9. My idea/proposal is to be able to create a 'Master' workout, then if you copy this workout and place it in your calendar say 10 times (secondary workouts) when you make a change/update to the master workout this is automatically pushed through to all the secondary workouts. Currently I believe you would need to edit each of the 10 workouts individually.
A further development of this concept would be to have recurring workouts, with perhaps the possibility to increase volume/intensity by X% for each occurence to fit in with periodisation.

  10. The web search interface sliders are clumsy and difficult to be precise. Can we have value boxes next to the to allow us to precisely filter by values instead of blindly guessing and trying to get a slider close to a value?

  11. Today its possible for self coached athletes to create custom workouts and schedule them per drag and drop in the calendar.
It would be nice, if self coached athletes can create their own custom plans (e.g. 4week base and so on) and safe them in a folder for annual planning.
This feature will not replace real coaches, just make it easier for those who don't want a coach at all.

Notes updates are currently planned for in our roadmap.

We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently planned in our roadmap but does not have an ETA.

  13. For example, if you have a rest day every Monday - be able to see this as a repeat entry. Or if you have a class or group session. You can set it as a repeat with same details for a defined period of time (i.e. next 8 weeks or forever)
Also - ability to delete the whole series too.

  14. I am not 100% sure how to improve it, but the way women are able to record their menstrual cycle at the moment is not great. To help with the way that it can become an open conversation between all coaches and athletes and feel as normal as recording weight etc.

  15. It would be a good option to be able to choose specific zones for an athlete when building a workout in the Workout builder.
This could then be chosen from a drop-down menu for the sport-specific zones an athlete has (either based off HR or Pace/power).

  16. It would be great to have an option to make a workout block using "a number of steps" and "a number of repeats". So essentially combine the two options available on the current workout builder.

So I could make a single effort consisting of 5 ramps of targets, and repeat it 3 times. At the moment, I would have to enter that as a ramp block, then having to duplicate it as many times as I need.

  17. In addition to a warm-up and cool-down, interval training usually consists of successive, repetitive performance blocks, which in turn consist of "ramp-up" and "recovery" phases. - Currently TrainingPeaks only allows "sub-blocks" of 2 or 3 step repeats in its "Workout Builder". This is insufficient.Real training life requires more flexibility! Please create a new (or replace) the current blocks with a freely configurable block (up to at least 10 repetitions).A manual workaround is possible, but not status-compliant.
