  1. The extra clicks required by the new metrics modal design impedes manual data entry compared to the previous design. It would be better if tiles for each of the metrics selected as "In use" in the settings appear by default.

    The ability to use the tab key to move focus between the metrics, and the ability to input a character or two to select a drop list item, would further improve the usability for manual input (both of these keyboard interactions were dropped at some point over the past six months).

    Another improvement would be to an "additional metrics" UI…

  3. The first time after opening TrainingPeaks on the Calendar view and switching to the Home view, the browser goes into full screen. This happens only on Safari.

  4. A year ago I was able to see from my coach account if an athletes workout was synched to their garmin device by seeing a garmin icon on the workout. I used this especially for new athletes to see that they were set up and all linked. Now 1 year later that feature has been removed and I can no longer see the garmin icon from my coach acct. Why was it removed?

  5. More drop down options. There's no Swimming for example. How can I plan for a swimming event if it doesn't display it?

  6. Please make "New Strength" workout blocks in the user interface behave the same as old strength or any other workout. New strength is nice, but the default block size is really big vs other workout types and takes up a lot of real estate at the calendar level. Since most athletes have multiple workouts a day it causes you to scroll to see the entire day and its a little visually jarring to see a nice short summary for most workouts and then like half the workout spelled out for strength. It dominates the day's workouts with little value added.…

  7. The new hover functionality on the Metrics cards (Calendar view) was an excellent addition. However, it's common to have duplicate cards that can be repeated, unnecessary or redundant data. I use the 'time of the day' to check when it was recorded and delete redundant cards. Can you add the 'time of the day' to the hovercard info? It would save a few clicks and improve productivity when performing data cleaning. Thanks

  8. The previous Strength Workout builder allowed setting a planned time, enabling proper scheduling in the calendar. The new builder lacks this functionality, making planning and tracking strength workouts difficult.

  9. When editing event, for ultra endurance we need to be able to create event of more than 99hrs so please increase to 3 digits.

  11. Currently if you have a training of certain type, all activities with matching type will be automatically matched with training and mark completed. As a consequence, training will disappear from garmin connect and won't sync with devices. The only way to force the training to show on garmin is to go to web and unpair the activities, which is not easy when you have access only to mobile device.

    Idea is to set a "matching percentage threshold" which allows activity to be matched with training automatically. For example if Training length is set to 60minutes and activity is below 80%…

  12. Current Challenge:
    As a coach, I have numerous athletes who sign up for various marathon events. For instance, if 10 of my athletes are participating in the same marathon, I currently have to create an individual event for each athlete. This process is cumbersome and time-consuming.

    Proposed Enhancement:
    I propose that TrainingPeaks introduce a feature to create events in a centralized manner and then apply these events to multiple athletes, similar to how training plans are created and assigned. Here are the key features of this enhancement:

  13. Workout view

    Replace the (now defunct) small minimal detail roll over window on workouts with the new vertical full detail view meaning users don’t have to click to view. All functionality already there. Remove a click and make it faster to locate workouts

    Have any click on the new workout view open the edit delete move and duplicate options rather than two clicks to open the menu and then again to select the function

    When dashes or dots are used to separate or delineate workouts have them also fill a complete line in the full detail view. At the moment…

  14. On the calendar, you can use the "delete" button, but need to use the mouse to confirm. It would be great to use "delete" and "enter" to confirm that you want to delete an item from the calendar. Toggling between the mouse and keyboard is slow. Using the mouse to do 2 or 3 clicks is slower than the keyboard. It adds up a lot over time.

    In order to delete a strength training workout exercise or superset, you need to do 3 mouse clicks... It would be so much better to click the item, then "delete" and "enter" to…

  15. You allow repeating workouts for athletes and coaches on training calendars, but you don't allow the same functionality on training plans, it would be great to hit one button to repeat rest days, race series events, regular warm ups and cool downs, S&C, or repeated sessions

  16. I would like to be able to add tags to workouts in my workout library so that when I add the workout to a calendar it already has the tags in it that I need to follow. Adding tags individually into each and every workouts is stopping me from using tags at all.

  18. Hi! I have one suggestion for the coaching site on the web. Is it possible to move the Coach Journal from the left side (under Profile & Zones) to the left side, under the metrics Fitness, Form and Fatigue?
    I usually take notes in the coach journal but I always have to go back and fourth between the coach journal and the workout libary when planning for the athletes. I upload a picture where I suggest you can put the journal.

  20. I noticed that I can view comment timestamps for a particular activity card on the mobile app, but I can only view the day/month/year next to a comment on the web app. The notifications on the web app do show approximately how many hours ago a comment was left, but it would be helpful to have a more precise time in the comment itself. I use that information when coming up with an appropriate response for my athletes. It's also helpful to know the time an athlete leaves a comment in general. Currently I have to check the mobile app…
