Alcohol Metrics
Being able to track my alcohol consumption as it relates to my training will be incredibly useful. Right now I'm tracking it as a note, but I would like to see this alongside my macronutrients, weight, and training data.
I've included a screengrab of how I am currently tracking. A simple drink count will suffice (1 drink = 1.5oz spirits, 5oz wine, 12oz beer)
Thank you!

Custom 'TAGS' to categorise athletes
I have a large number of athletes. It would be helpful to add tags to athletes using custom keywords to easily filter specific categories. For example, If I add the following tags to a runner: London Marathon, Serpentine, Beginner. These tags could filter all beginner runners from Serpentine club, running London marathon.

Availability Should Also Have Open Availability
Just another option in the drop down. Right now it is Unavailabe and Limited--what if this also included "Very Available" this would be for blocks of time that the athlete would have more availability. Example -- I will be taking a trip to California to have a focused block of training and racing. Notifying this in TP would help my coach see where he can maybe load some volume. Cheers!

Session duration and workout duration
I currently subscribe to my Training Peaks calendar through my Apple calendar and share this subscription with my wife so she can see when I am training. In Training Peaks I would typically set a swim workout start time of 06:30 with duration of 30mins. This 30mins is typically the time I plan to be actually swimming (excluding rests) which is absolutely the information I want to record against my ATP. However in reality I will be in the pool for 50-60 mins, and if I also factor in travel time to and from the pool, getting changed etc. the…

When removing laps from a workout facilitate multi-select of all desired laps to be remove
Often times I'll utilize the feature that allows removal of non-essential laps. Presently, I have to select a lap, click the checkbox and then wait for the delete prompt... so 3 clicks per lap. Y'all are good at math... if I'm removing 10 laps, that's 30 clicks vs. with my suggestion it's 12.

Sunrise and Sunset to calendar view
Include Sunrise and Sunset to calendar view in same way as there is weather forecast. That would be great feature for planning weeks training hours. Espiecially for outdoor rides and runs.

Provide Normalized Power Peak Performances
Provide a way to see Peek Performances for NP, not just AP. I typically watch my 60min NP as a sign that my my FTP is changing. AP doesn't tell the whole story.
Since NP doesn't mean much for short durations, it could be an option for only 20min + durations.

Import custom planned workouts to athlete calendar
TrainingPeaks simply needs to allow users to import a custom workout file (e.g., .erg, .mrc, and so on) by uploading or dragging and dropping into a workout as a planned/future session.
E.g., I have a custom workout in Intervals.icu, and rather than re-create it in TP for an athlete, I can just export from my Intervals.icu calendar and upload in TP.
Currently it seems like the only option is to re-create the workout in TP all over again.

Fixing the activity feed for coaches with large member base
The activity feed is a great feature where coaches can review athlete updates. Sadly, for coaches with 500+ athletes (or even 100+ athletes), half of the feed gets cut / doesn't show up.
For example, if one filters the feed to see the latest comments, only some of the comments from that day show up. Again, this is for those with a large member base. This is a major bug as several athletes don't get a response to their comments as the activity / comment never shows up in the activity feed.
Requesting TrainingPeaks to have an activity feed that…

Add screenshot to a workout
Sometimes there's some info that it's interesting to add to your workout to share with youre trainer. In my case, I have a nimbers sheet with all the details about what I have eaten in my long sessions. I would love to add the file, or much better, an screenshot. Many thanks!

Get deeper analyze for a selection
It would be great that when choosing a lap/section in the analyze, the entire data will change to that selection. Peaks for the selection, all the graphs will contain data from the selection, etc...

Disparity in features Coach Premium with no premium Athletes
I am writing as a long-standing user and Coach Premium subscriber on the platform. I have been a loyal user of TrainingPeaks for several years and have appreciated the valuable tools and features it provides for coaches and athletes alike.
Recently, with the updates introduced for premium athletes, I have noticed a disparity in accessing certain features as a Coach Premium subscriber. I understand that some features are tied to the premium status of my athletes, and while I appreciate the value placed on athlete subscriptions, I believe there is room for improvement in the way Coach Premium users are…

Keyboard shortcuts
I'd like to have keyboard shortcuts implemented to speed many common actions within TrainingPeaks from adding items to the calendar (workout, metrics, notes) to searching/selecting/adding from the Workout Library, switching athletes (for coaches), copy/paste, save changes (e.g. "Save & Close" a workout), and many more functions. Keyboard shortcuts along the lines of Gmail (i.e., extensive actions, pop-up shortcut guide) would be a great addition to TrainingPeaks!

Workout Builder
Creating workouts is a pain because basic functionality is missing.
This becomes specially frustrating for swimming workouts because we need to interlace different sets, repeats, and ramps to vary the intensity, but those repeat over the course of a workout. For example, in the following is a typical swimming workout:
4 times 25 kick + 50 easy endurance R=20” 25 6-1-6 and 25 easy R=20" 25 6-3-6 and 25 sprint R=20" 25 right arm + 25 left arm + 25 2 left + 2 right arm + 25 mod
Base Interval
200 @ 80% R=40"4 times 25 kick +…

Better workouts tagging
Checking and fixing workout tags is a tiresome process on TP. Lamentably, many athletes forget or don't care about using the right sport-type profile on their head unit during workouts. I have a few suggestions:
1) Move tags to the left area of the summary workout view. Long post-activity messages push them downwards, making it harder to remember to check them (see screenshot).
2) Make them available on the Analyze view.
3) Allow athletes' tags to be editable in their settings.4 votesPlanning on this work in the next quarter or so.

mynetdiary
Having used both apps side by side for weeks, I find MyNetDiary to be a cleaner faster UI than My Fitness Pal. I find the MND accuracy at least as good if not better than MFP. I find in fitness threads that MND has a userbase that is not being recognized, and many of these users want TP integration. I think overall almost every athlete at this point wishes for ONE platform that will capture any and all the metrics that athlete wants to measure and that all the athletes preferred vendors would just sync and share this information. I…
