Strength Timers
I really love the new "strength" tool! it will be useful to put an option of rest time. Between exercises and between sets! I want to give some "tabata" workouts: 8 sets, 20 sec workout at 100% effort, 10 sec rest.
Adding more parameters is on our roadmap!

I use TP for both endurance and S&C coaching; the S&C provision has improved markedly over the past year and I really enjoy working with it. However, it would definitely be great to be able to have a parameter that allows me to states the % of 1RM or reps in reserve (RIR) for an athlete, as opposed to using a specific weight. It's much more in line with traditional strength coaching methods (and other apps) and allows some empowerment of the athlete themselves. Along with a variety of S&C delivery modalities (tabata/EMOM/for time etc)
Continuing from there, being able to have the facility to review a history of loads lifted and 1RMs recorded for comparison (in one place) would make TP extremely competitive with the other more strength focussed apps. It would also allow more accurate progression - at present I am going into the separate sessions and keeping a record myself on excel.
I see you mentioned using it in the mobile app; but some coaches plan from laptop/desktop so it would need to be available across multiple platforms

I would really want this to work with multiple exercises - like rotate through a circuit of 5 exercises as an EMOM, or rotate through the exercises with custom times for the exercise and a rest period between. Such as, maybe two floor exercises are a minute each and the third is 30 sec and the third requires getting on a bike. I can switch between the floor exercises in 5 seconds or less but getting to the bike and off of it again takes 15 seconds. I realize this is pretty nuanced but would be perfect for something like a mobility warmup routine that I'll do mostly the same 3x a week for years.
If it's not already obvious it would be necessary to proceed from one exercise to the next. Just like regular trainingpeaks workouts when intervals auto-start some times or you can make them start/end by pressing the lap button... something parallel would be mandatory.

When doing the strength training in mobile app. It could be great to show number of set or/and a check mark on each set.
For time base exercises, could be great to have an integrated timer. -

A timer in the strength functionality
So athletes can tack time of workout and rest?
