  1. The New Notes feature - is it possible for the cursor to be "ready to type" in the Header when you open the note?

Currently, you select to add a new note, then have to click into the box to edit. Working on the principle that if you're adding a note, you're wanting to write something, it would be easier and quicker if the cursor was in the box, ready to type, just like when you add a workout.

    Thanks!

  2. I build my strength workouts using the new strength builder, but when my Garmin records the activity and comes through as an old strength activity, I cannot pair the two. Am I doing this wrong, or is this functionality not available yet?

  3. The app is very limited in its functionality, and I find the requirement to have a laptop in order to access all features frustrating, given that I am a frequent traveller and therefore depend on an effective app.For example, it would be useful to be able to create training plans within the app or to record workouts as a series so that they can be repeated on specific days.I would also like to be able to view my Garmin watch's health data in an organised way in the app. A general issue is the absence of a "cockpit" as found…

  4. Hello, there is a bug in the Android app which drives me crazy. When you are in the middle of a workout, and you want to scroll up and down, you cannot start your scroll up/down gesture in any of the large "Reps" boxes. You have to learn to touch elsewhere in the screen for scrolling. Scroll gestures should have higher precedence than tap/edit gestures, to make your app work in the way which is consistent with other apps.

  5. Issue with "Sort by Oldest Planned Workout"

    Hi Training Peaks Team,

I’ve noticed an issue when using the "Sort by Oldest Planned Workout" option. If a plan consists only of strength sessions or if the last session in the plan is a strength workout, the system does not consider that session as a valid date for the requested sorting hierarchy.

Could you please check if this behavior is intentional or if it can be adjusted?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Best,

  6. the new strength tool is fantastic but as it doesn't include a TSS I have an "old strength" workout planned for the same day in which I put an estimated TSS. I know this point has been raised before but I've also noticed that the new strength workout does not contribute to the time in the dashboard pie chart although it does contribute to the totals in the calendar. in the attached files the calendar show the two workout, one old and one new. I've set the duration to 1m in the "old" workout so it doesn't upset the times…

  9. Strength workouts should be included in your weekly snapshot, it’s supposed to show your “weekly snapshot” so why would a strength workout not be part of that?
They were a few weeks ago, seems silly to void them now as it makes is difficult to see what work we have done each day without looking over everything.

  10. Very often weights or a machine are being used and we need to swap the planned exercise for something similar. Like the BB bench is busy, so we can do DB bench press instead. Or we want to add something we didn't program previously.

  11. As other coaches have mentioned here, it would be great if we could prescribe strength training based on percentages of 1RM.

In addition, something very simple and essential is the addition of a field for interval time between sets, which could contain a timer for the athlete to keep track of. As already seen in other apps.

Also, as I have seen mentioned here, a field for linking sets of the same block, such as A1 + A2 in a "super set" and A3 separately, but in the same block.

In the "reps" field, it would be interesting to have…

  13. I just started using the newly built Strength option, and I have a few things which do bother me. Firstly, in the option where I can input my weights for a specific exercise, I cannot use decimal points, so there is no way for me to input for example 17.5kg, I tried it with pounds too, but there it is forbidden too. Secondly, If I start the Strength training in the application it starts the timer and when I end it it end, and at the end I get the time of my workout, this would be a good option…

  14. On the TP web app the VIR icon only goes to TPV web information page - Can an icon launch the TPV programme directly?

Note: For this idea using laptop - would not work for appletv users

Also VIR icon on Android app does not link to TPV app directly - launches to Play store allowing you to open TPV - can this link be more direct?

  15. Following https://peaksware.uservoice.com/forums/106657-trainingpeaks-customer-feedback/suggestions/47216450-ability-to-upload-externally-generated-structured ,

It would be nice to allow the upload of running workouts (zwo files). The current implementation only supports cycling workouts.

    Thank you!

  16. How about a quarterly update from development showing the top issues and customer enhancement requests that have been requested.

I feel a bit jaded when new things land that are just... shrug neat but not what I really needed. Is this what other coaches wanted/needed?

I see new features, and when they are released, im like this is neat, but is this what we needed/wanted?

Show us a chart of the most wanted changes by your customers and what the team came up with!

As always, I really appreciate TP and the team!

  17. Dear TP,
its getting more and more common in professional athletes that, athletes are forced by national federations or teams to share their TP account.
In a certain way its OK, to show by this way that work is done for a payed job and support.
Today there are no international rules about the data security of athletes on online platforms - and if you share the TP account with somebody - you have control on the one hand who you share with, but you dont have control if the shared person downloads your datas with and uses them in…

  18. It would be great to see the Moxy Saturation Data in the Chart and Lap detail! It is in the fit file detail and we can rig it in a scatter chart "sometimes" but this is not as useful as being able to see the detail in an interval/lap against power, HR etc.
    Thanks

  19. TPV understands and plays .zwo files perfectly. This means TPV can already handle the <FreeRide> and <Ramp> instructions.
However (as a coach) you normally create workouts with the TrainingPeaks WorkoutBuilder and have the athletes export them to the desired platform. Which is not even necessary with TPV.
Unfortunately I have no way to mark an interval as "FreeRide" in the WB. This is necessary for all forms of tests e.g. FTP, max. efforts, etc., and "Ride by feel" sections.
Not as much important are ramps. While we have fixed step intervals in the WB it would be nice to have…

  20. Is there anything on the road map where as coaches we would be able to programme strength based movements from an athletes 1RM. My understanding and chatting to one of the sales directors is that the current limitations are reps sets and RPE. But it would be really useful to add a % of their 1RM aligned to the type of strength training.

Seeing as %'s of thresholds and zone training can already be done, is this something that will be coming for strength training?
