  1. My coach prescribes workouts in TP and it imports into my Garmin Fenix 6XPRO. My workout segments time counts down from that step's duration (15 minute warmup starts at 15 and counts down). If I change the workout in TP to "end step on lap button", the step's duration counts up (15 minute warmup starts at 0 and counts up). Now I have to remember how long each segment of the workout is so that I can closely follow the intended workout duration for each step. How can I use the "end step on lap button" and maintain the count…

  3. Why don’t you create an opt in library where coaches can post specific workouts that other coaches can use at a price per use? So the coach who spent the time creating the workout can benefit financially and you guys take profit on the sale.

    Just a thought

  4. PROBLEM
    All workouts created using the Workout builder look the same. You cant tell if its Power, HR or RPE based.

    SOLUTION:
    on the calendar, a workout will have a small icon showing if its based on Power, HR or RPE at a glace!

    If you build a:
    Bike workout based on Heart Rate - a 'Red Heart' will show
    Bike workout based on Power - a 'Lightning bolt' will show
    Bike workout based on RPE - a 'RPE chart' will show

    WHY?
    1. At a glance on the calendar you KNOW what's slated for our athletes
    2. Your athletes…

  5. The swim "planned duration" time in my training plan includes breaks. This is nice to be able to know how long it will take you to complete the workout. However, the uploaded data from the workout does NOT include breaks in the "completed duration".

    This results in overstating the TSS, intensity, etc. calculations for every swim workout. Having a swim TSS is a nice feature for triathletes, but what's the point if it will not measure correctly. I'm overstating my effort by 40-50% every workout.

    It seems like there is an easy fix here to 1)show "total" workout time and…

  7. Hi everybody,
    I think it could be useful, (for beginner self made coach like me) that when you have to create an automatic ATP it takes into consideration the main events (A , B, C type) but also the holidays (1 week, 2 week ecc) at low tss score because I don't have much time to train.

    For example:

    Imput--> C race 15/02 ;

    B race 02/04 ;

    A race 22/06 - 30/07 ;

    Holidays from 12 to 25/08 week tss 300 ;

    B race 15/09 ;

    A race 22/10

    Output--> ATP considering these eventualities

  8. Request for PMC refresh to improve ease of use and reduce differences between the App and Online

    Improvements for APP and Online
    Having four data series, ATL line in pink, CTL line in blue, TSB line in yellow and TSS red dots but only three scale labels is terribly confusing, having a different scale range for TSS and TSSd adds to the confusion. I spend a lot of time trying to decipher the graph, having a different scale for TSB makes great sense as those values are much smaller than the other three values, but the dual scales without clear…

  9. In Workout builder currently power can only be expressed as a percentage (%) of some key metrics (e.g. LTHR). However for some key testing sessions, like ramp tests Absolute values need to be entered. Garmin workout builder already does this. It would be useful in TP too to enable structured tests to be used.

  10. Is mentioned already by other users.

    But it would be a lot faster to be able to bypass the copy and paste context menu by simply dragging a workout and then releasing it while holding a certain button.

    Coming from Today's Plan, this should be an easy add from Training Peaks. I am surprised that such as small feature is not yet being implement.
    Hopefully soon.

  14. Utilize multiple units for workouts. Currently you can only use one unit; pace, power, heart rate, RPE. Utilizing multiple units would enable a coach to get more creative with workouts.

  15. As Today's Plan is shutting down per March '24 and I suspect many coaches and athletes will want to migrate to Trainingpeaks. Me and my coach have been using Today's Plan for years and I have been using it as the single source of truth for running, cycling, sleep and wellness metrics.

    As API access to Trainingpeaks isn't available to single users, there's not really a simple way to upload historical data. Please upvote if you're up for some kind of solution (thinking out loud: provision of a CSV template by Trainingpeaks with mappings from Today's Plan data export function…

  16. Creating a RACE/EVENT is cumbersome and not intuitive to include distance and duration. As a result., often athletes do not include these two important metrics because they are hidden. if the create EVENT/RACE was similar to the create sessions format it would ensure that this information is added.ie "required" before saving. Similar formatting for sessions and events would simplify the process. Thank you

  17. Trainingpeaks, please add the ability to have coaches create run workouts that incorporate Pace. Similar to how Garmin is able to create a run workout that is based off Time + pace at a given HR. When I create a garmin workout i can set a duration (40 mins @ 9min/mi)

    And add the ability to automatically delete workouts from devices as well. I know this is a stretch, but when I make my Garmin workouts and sync, eventually it maxes out with 25 workouts... it's annoying to have to manually delete them...

  18. add indoor bike power FTP zones please

    we know that indoor power FTP is quite different from outdoor power FTP and zones, and can be as much as 30 watts lower inside, from increased heat, increased resistance, lower joint and biomechanics to be able to produce the same level of power as outside, not least notably referenced in Joe Frield book Ride Inside.
    I can see this topic has been posted and asked about before, is there a timeline to implement please?
    I know lots of other platforms already have this, which are also AI based, and also that WKO5…

  20. If I add details to a warmup or cooldown in notes while building a workout by using line breaks to separate several exercises or several stretches, those line breaks should be preserved in the session view.
    This makes the note easier to read.
