Activity Tagging by Training Cycle or Race
Summary - Introduce the ability to tag individual activities with custom labels representing training cycles, races, or goals (e.g., “LV100_2025”), and enable filtering and analysis based on those tags.
Use Case - Athletes often train for multiple events or follow distinct training cycles throughout the year. Currently, there’s no streamlined way to group and analyze activities tied to a specific race or training block. For example, someone preparing for the Leadville 100 MTB race in 2025 might want to track all workouts related to that event, separate from general base training or other race prep.

To monitor the bike’s mileage
Please set it up so that all MTB workouts are automatically assigned to the mountain bike under equipment, and all rides done with the road bike are logged to the road bike automatically.

Make save button (better) available at metrics and workout screen
At the website when in Safari on IPad IOS 18.5 the bottom of the metrics window always falls outside the bottom of the screen. Only a tiny strip of the save button is visible. So it is really hard to save it.
And very recent (at least from July 3th) the same is the case for the workout screens. For this screen it is even worse, because the save button is not visible at all when the iPad is horizontal. You have to turn iPad vertical to get a tiny strip of the save button visible.1 vote -
Bring back the ability to edit/save a workout detail.
For some reason from the desktop version of TP, you are no longer able to edit or leave a comment in the workout detail portion. Please return this feature. I would like to be able to dive into the analytics of a workout, leave a comment for an athlete and save those comments without having to back out of the workout and paste that comment to the workout. Now one step has become 5 steps.

Alternative strength exercises
I would like to be able to assign substitutions or alternatives for strength exercises. I have many clients who all have various equipment available to them and are at different levels, strength wise. If I could put a variety of options for a specific exercise and allow them to pick which best fits their situation that would save me a lot of time and give them more flexibility. Another example would be I program chin ups, but I have a client who can’t do them so they could look at the alternatives and select inverted rose instead.

An extraneous category should be added to keep files from being "counted"
Many times the need to have a file added to WKO5 comes up but for one reason or another a good file already exists or for a different reason this file is needed but its data shouldn't be counted towards the athlete's training progress.
For example, sometimes one event is recorded with two different devices but only one should count towards the athlete progress.
Other times, a file is known to have bad data, but deleting it would make things worse because even though some data is bad, other data is not, e.g. topology may be good, but power would…

Resting respiration rate metric
Please add "resting respiration rate" as an option to track in the Metrics card. Trying to derive a recovery score based on Z scores and resting respiration rate is one of the Z scores being computed.

In run workout analysis, provide the peak 45 minute pace
In run workout analysis, provide a peak 45 minute pace, as that is the criteria TP now uses to adjust thresholds. It is useful and often necessary to be able to identify the section of a workout that is updating the threshold, and without the 45 min peak pace shown and highlight-able, it is guess work manually hunting through the session to find it.

Ability to add a parent or guardian's email address to a minor's account who will receive the same emails the child does. That way, when a coach messages an athlete or vice versa, the parent will get an email about it and the message's content.
The parent will also have access to the minor's account using their own email address. This is just good SafeSport practice to protect those under 18.

Add "unsaved changes" confirmation
I have lost 3-4 workout notes because I accidentally hit the back button (mobile) or the ESC key (web). The workout has closed, discarding what I've written without giving me a warning. I've started writing my workout notes in the Notes app on my phone / notepad on my computer and copying them into Training Peaks so I don't lose them accidentally.
Suggested fix: add a "you have unsaved changes" warning so I don't accidentally lose my workout notes.

Enable 'Dark Mode' so Training Peaks is easier on our eyes
Most computers and screens allow for 'dark mode' where the background is black and text is white. I have all my computers and screens set up this way and it's increasingly obvious how much harder Training Peaks is on my eyes vs other apps that switch to dark mode when that's the default setting for the computer. Allowing for this option would be a welcome improvement for many of us!

Custom line on power graph
On the graph that shows you power, rpm, hr, etc… allow the user to click on the scale to create a line across the chart. So if you wanted to easily see all efforts over a certain wattage, youd click on the side and pick your number and a line would be drawn across the chart. Hunters Allens old software (cyclingpeaks?) used to do this.

Add Strength Training to the Sync Function
All the scheduled workouts sync to my Garmin Calendar except the scheduled Strength workouts. Please add this function. I also think just 1 option for "Strength" workout without all the details is a good idea, I don't need to add so much detail and I can't find just 1 "strength" workout. I go to a Strength class at my gym and the teacher switches up the workout each time, so a general entry would be nice.

Ref Beta charts - add synchronised map/location data
The beta charts are great - being able to see data relating to my performance, and also bike data like gearing, battery levels etc is fantastic. Can I suggest an addition - it would be great to see the map synchronised in the same display to be able to answer questions like "what was my performance on this climb in the ride" or the converse "where was I/what happened when this happened to my performance".

Aggregate distance and time in dashboard as bar chart
Please add more flexibility to take any metric from TP into the dashboard and plot it on different time intervalls or vs. other metrics.
Particularly, I'd like to look it training time or distance in a bar chart per month and year to compare etc.

Workout Execution Score / Accuracy
Hi, my suggestion would be as follows:
Add a score for the execution quality of structured workouts i.e. how much time was spent in the planned power ranges / zones (absolute and in %).
Make it available for individual workout analysis and in the dashboard as aggregate by week/month etc.
This would allow to track, how well one actually executes on the training plan
(e.g., structured workout contains a warm-up with certain power ranges, then a main part with other ranges, and a cool-down with a lower range of Power. I would like to know overall, how well I hit…3 votes -
MTB rides are not part of a Bike Summary
Has anyone other than myself noticed that if an athlete goes for a MTB ride in a week, that ride is not included under the Bike Summary total (duration and mileage) for the week (the summary pane off to the right of the athlete's calendar). Currently the only way to have it be part of the Bike total, is to change the workout type from MTB to Bike. Seems odd that TP considers a MTB ride as separate from an athlete's overall cycling mileage for that week. The brain and body would likely think otherwise. Would appreciate if it could…
