  1. With the expansion of the Structured Strength builder integration (now linking to Garmin workout files), I feel it's now essential that the TSS & time related to these files now displays on the main page as a planned/completed workout. It's not counted in the pie chart! Nor does it appear as a coloured spot in the calendar view, it looks like I have nothing planned for the day. I could still add a legacy workout, but given the new syncing rules, this seems superfluous.
Please ensure Structured Strength complies to the core functionality of TrainingPeaks.

  2. On the coach profile you can link to Facebook but not Instagram. Myself and other coached use Instagram, more than Facebook so an Instagram link would be better.

  3. When adding an Event, there is nothing close to “Mountaineering”, “Trekking” or “Summit” as a type. I think many people use TP to train for such events.

  4. Hi TrainingPeaks Team,
I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the TrainingPeaks experience when using the app on an iPad/tablet, specifically two UI issues that have been present for some time.
Firstly, could you advise whether there are plans to correct the “How did it feel?” smiley-face icons on the tablet version? The icons currently appear significantly out of proportion and poorly scaled compared with the rest of the interface. From a user perspective, this makes an otherwise professional application look somewhat unfinished and, frankly, quite amateurish.
Secondly, there appears to be an ongoing issue with the back-navigation functionality when…

  5. Given the criticality of high carb intake for training, it seems important as a feature. I suggest a new row Carb Grams for manual/completed.

  6. May want to reflect on the scale and cue words given in TrainingPeaks slider for post-workout ratings of RPE and Feeling.

I believe the intention is to rate SESSION RPE (sRPE) more than instant RPE given it is done after the workout as a reflection on how hard that workout was ?

The training Peaks scale seems to reflect RPE during a workout (e.g. conversation difficult) but this is not what the after the workout necessarily means ?

The Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) scale is a frequently used patient reported measure of exercise intensity which rates momentary perceived…

  7. Would like to make a request to see if it would be possible to have a feature where when you are in a specific athlete's calendar there could be a display in the margins of all events currently on that athlete's calendar for quick reference? I have athletes who put things far out on the calendar without telling me and this would be useful to quickly see all upcoming events.

  8. when viewing messages/chat on desktop the calendar should open that athlete's so that the coach can make any changes and/or understand the context of that athlete's training and their messages/chat

  9. I think it would be helpful for the user to be able to long press on the workout and then move the workout to another date via the mobile app. Right now I have to click on workout then change the date then save. Gets pretty tedious. I understand it’s easier to do on desktop but I think something easy on the phone would be helpful.

  10. Hi TrainingPeaks team,

I'm a triathlon coach and write my sessions directly in the workout description field. This field currently only supports plain text, which makes structured sessions hard to read — particularly for athletes in the mobile app.

Request: Markdown support in the workout description (headings, bold/italic, bullet and numbered lists, links) plus a preview of the rendered text before saving. The Jira description editor is a good reference — formatted editing, a raw/Markdown view, and a preview of the final result.

Example of what I'd like to write today:

    Warm-up
    - 10 min easy, Z1-Z2
    - 3x 20s…

  11. Good morning.

It would be very helpful to include a search function for weeks/days and sessions in the training plan builder.

It's quite tedious to constantly scrolling down through weeks when you're reviewing and/or using existing plans to copy them for an athlete.

    Thanks.
    David.

  12. If TP is synced with TP Virtual, why can't athletes ***** their ride directly in TP Virtual when the ride is finished? That would make it easier for coaches to gather subjective data from their roster.

  13. Once the workout file is (auto) uploaded trainingpeaks could send a mobile app push notification to the athlete to say -> your workout is uploaded -> COMMENT!

in other apps I am testing as alternatives to training peaks in 2026 this is a very effective way of increasing engagement with athletes . The frequency and consistency of comments increases hugely .

  15. A lot of multisporters are training for kayaking so it would be usefulto be able to log it as kayaking, not "other." I know there is a subcategory, but this seems pretty useless, as I still can't see kayaking on my summary.

  16. For the past few months, when I want to edit a note and change the date, clicking on the calendar only allows me to change it for the current month, and doesn't let me change it to another month. This is very inconvenient, and it used to work fine. This only happens on the web.

  18. Using 360, Analyze, Laps -When your analysis tool detects intervals in a workout, it would be great if those detected intervals that auto-populate the fields (power and/or heart rate) - also had planned - for comparion- similar to what you have in the overlay graph.

It would also help to be able to export that table (detected intervals plus planned power/HR) to Excel, so coaches can revie

I just got an ad for “free ride August 4”. I don’t know what it’s about, but I pay for this app and I didn’t opt into ads.

  20. I’m not a big user of Stack Up as mainly interested in in my own progress (or not) but where I find somewhat useful is relative ranking over time as I age as a masters athlete. 2 UX items make it clumsy
    - would be helpful to have the chosen filters displayed so one knows what one is seeing
    - persistence in filters chosen, as seems to revert to default (and nor relevant ) values each time I move away from the app

These are both simple software fit and finish gaps that probably were probably scoped out in the…
