  1. In my view, TrainingPeaks could become one of the most comprehensive platforms if options for monitoring and quantifying strength training load were added. In particular, I am thinking about the following features:
    • The ability for coaches to record RIR or RPE for strength exercises
    • The addition of tools to track strength training volume, such as total tonnage, number of repetitions, or combined metrics (tonnage × repetitions)
    • The integration of options that support velocity-based training

These enhancements would, in my opinion, make the application highly attractive within the broad training-platform market by providing a more complete and accurate…

    Hi all,

We have an early prototype of some Strength Analysis tools that we are looking for feedback on what is useful, not useful and any feedback.

Please reach out to me if you are interested in testing. tony@trainingpeaks.com

    Thanks!

  2. I don’t understand why a professional platform like TrainingPeaks does not integrate Suunto health data (SUUNTO 247 DATA API) such as sleep, HRV, RHR, etc., when these data are available through Suunto APIs and already integrated into free coaching platforms.

TrainingPeaks should not be a platform that promotes the sale of Garmin devices, but should be neutral and allow us coaches to work at our best.

    Thank you.

  4. I would love to see a "notes" field in the zone history. Sometimes I change a zone setting due to altitude differences, medications, illness/injury, or some other non-training-related reason. This would be helpful to archive in the history archive.

  5. I often encounter a problem where the iPad app prevents me from Starting a Workout unless I Upgrade. It will not allow me to mark the workout as complete.
This seems to be a bug.

  6. Iphones have to update to IOS26, but Apple watch Series4 cannot and suddenly it's not possible to use Training Peaks because watch can't be changed to AppleOS26. Please make the app compatible or allow a workaround.

  7. When you are working on a iPad and importing workouts and you have multiple workouts in the same day you can’t change the order of the workouts. Small thing but can get annoying especially if you want your athlete to do a particular workout first.

  8. I would love to be able to see if a comment is left on a Note -- just as I can see if a comment is left on a workout.

These is a bubble and x1, x2 at the bottom of a workout when comments left, it would be a great feature to have this on Notes as well. I leave all reviews of workouts in one Note it would be great to be able to see at a glance if the athlete relies a comment.

  9. You have "save" and "save and close" but it would be nice to have one more that would be a "save and go to summary" button. This perhaps might make the flow of saving a training session and then going to the summary and then allowing you to click the right arrow to immediately go to the next training session. Vs having to click, "save" then go up to click "summary", and then finally clicking the right arrow (or left if needed to go back one session) to move to the next training session that has been created.

    Reason why…

  10. The Android app looks very outdated.
There is no Dark mode. Navigation is not very user friendly. You should incorporate M3 Expressive design guidelines.

  11. It would be good to be able to create a CSV spreadsheet of your plans for sale on TP.
Just a simple spreadsheet detailing category, subcategory, full plan title, weeks and price.
This will help coaches manage their cua hung business.
    Thanks

  13. When you complete a workout on TP Virtual it then syncs back to TP but if you have stopped for the loo or something else, (get more water etc) it doesn't line up on the chart again. I was told this is because it's done on elapsed time not riding time. I think this should be change or at least a option to change it. The same with it gives you total time at the top not riding time. For example the session I have added the image for I was riding for 2hrs 2mins, but it tells me it…

  15. In the mobile app, can you make it so the swimming distance shows up in yards rather than miles for imperial units?? Please! This makes it so hard to get if I am on track when looking at the mobile app. I typically add a “goal” to each Sunday (e.g., 20000 yards) and then look at the app see where I am during the week.

  16. I plan my training by yards/meters I need to complete in a week (e.g., 80km or 80,000 yards). So the current version that uses time as the planning metric doesn't work well for me. I currently cross reference an excel spreadsheet when planning my daily workouts.

  17. tpvirtualhub.com login renders a sketchy-looking page on indievelo.com (anti pattern to make me enter my trainingpeaks.com password on a different domain) instead of realizing that I'm already logged in on this browser.

  19. Currently, cycling training zones in TrainingPeaks are based solely on a percentage of FTP. While this works reasonably well for higher intensities, it is limiting for low-intensity training. I would like to propose the option to define training zones using two separate physiological anchor points:

LT2 / VT2 / FTP – for determining higher zones (e.g., Coggan Zones 3–6), where the current percentage model already works well.

LT1 / VT1 – for determining lower zones (especially Zone 2), where percentages relative to FTP often fail to reflect individual metabolic profiles.

For example, instead of defining Zone 2 as 56–76% of…

  20. Sweat Rate Tracking - would be brilliant to input weight pre and post session, with automatic sweat rate tracking. Tagging the rates to activity types and able to plot against intensities and temperatures for analysis.

Takes this analytic away from our spreadsheets and into a sole training platform!
