Hate the new Strength appearance
One of my favorite features was being able to quickly see the total time and TSS from all activities on the calendar, including Strength workouts. The new design where it shows numbers of sets and numbers of exercises is really unfortunate. I know that I can still see the time and TSS if I click into the activity, but what's the point of having sets and exercises on the calendar view?

Weather Location
When travelling the weather function becomes redundant - it would be useful to be able to override the weather location for a day at a time, this would help with workout planning

Enable a structured workout to match a ride even if a workout is paused temporarily mid ride
Enable a structured workout in TP to match a ride's data even if the workout is paused temporarily mid ride (like to get through a stop light)... It really bothers me that my ride data doesn't match up to the structure

Coach intellectual property and athlete data history with new Garmin merger
How will Garmin and Training Peaks be using the vast data set built by and subsequently populated by their paying customers (Coaches and athletes) over many years? Most (maybe all) coaches would consider their unique approach to their athlete success through their schedule building, coaching approach, comments and feedback as their intellectual property. This is likely the value that Garmin saw in the acquisition in an effort to improve their own coaching and training models (something that someday could undermine business of individual coaching). Can Training Peaks ease the concern of coaches and athletes by explaining how their data will…

Show interval data on the summary tab when you hover on the intervals for planned workouts.
On the summary tab for a planned workout, you can hover over the intervals in the workout builder and it'll tell you the planned time and rpe/pace, etc. It would be really cool if when you complete the workout the lap data would be fed into the hover. It would be a much easier way to see how you executed the workout in my opinion. Screenshot of suggested functionality attached.

Create pace based workouts as a percentage of custom zones rather than just threshold pace
I'm currently using John J Davis' excellent book Marathon Excellence for Everyone for my training plans. However, he uses percent of 5K pace and percent of marathon pace extensively in all of his plans.
I can easily enough create those custom pace zones (for example, my 5k pace is 4:24/km, and my marathon pace is 4:56/km). However, if I want to create a workout at 85% of 5k pace, I have to manually tweak the percent of threshold pace until I get to the right value, rather than just choosing my 5k pace as the baseline, and then selecting 85%.

Assing training peak virtual courses when structuring workouts
I'd like the ability, when building a structured workout, to assign a specific TrainingPeaks Virtual course from the existing course library (not just a custom GPX upload) directly to that workout. Then, when I open TrainingPeaks Virtual and select my scheduled workout for the day, it would automatically load the correct course from the library, along with my structured erg targets, rather than requiring me to manually search for and select the course myself.
This would let structured training plans and TrainingPeaks Virtual work together seamlessly, saving time and reducing setup friction for athletes who use Virtual regularly for indoor…

Time in Zones for Selected Workout Section
Time in Zones for Selected Workout Section
It would be extremely useful to select any portion of a workout and view the time spent in each training zone (heart rate, pace, or power) for that specific section.
For example, after highlighting a section of the workout, TrainingPeaks could display a zone distribution chart showing:
- Time in each heart rate zone
- Time in each pace zone
- Time in each power zone (if available)
This would make it much easier to analyze the intensity of specific workout segments, such as the main set, tempo blocks, or climbs, without being limited to the…

Combined Statistics for Selected Laps
I would love to see the ability to select multiple laps and view their combined statistics, similar to the functionality available in COROS Training Hub.
For example, after selecting several laps, TrainingPeaks could display:
- Total time
- Total distance
- Average pace
- Average heart rate
- Average power
- Elevation gain
This would make analyzing interval workouts much faster and eliminate the need to manually calculate the combined metrics for work intervals.

Fuelin app frustration
As a coach, can you PLEASE get rid of the athlete's fuelin' information that autopopulates into their workouts if they're using the app? Like, make it invisible for the coach if they want it gone. It makes my workspace really difficult to visually navigate, every time I have to navigate it, it's frustrating and it is not something that I personally am interested in seeing.

Add laptime on 400m runningtrack
As a running and triatlon coach I work a lot on the 400 meter running track. All my trainings on the track are based on that distance, including 300-200 -100 meter running. It would be very helpful if TP would automatically calculate the running time on these distances. Even better if it would be able to calculate split times as well.

Option to hide the disclosure of intensity zones in the "Workout Details" of a planned session.
Many times, the disclosure of zones in the “Workout Details” section of the Planning session is unnecessary information that only complicates understanding and adds unnecessary clutter to the reading. A button with the option to hide these zones, either within the session itself or in the athlete’s settings, would effectively address this issue.

AI assistant coach
Is it possible to create an AI coach assist on top of the functionalities you already have, so we have an AI model that take all data into consideration and make a recommended "new" plan including trainings from our own workout library?
Or even better also a AI assistent coach that can create new workouts based on training history for each athlete.
Both questions above would help us coaches to be more in interaction with our athletes in person, and I can see a lot of athletes "just" create their own plans with ChatGPT or similar. (And Tridot is already…3 votes -
Removing a step changes FTP % of Previous Blocks
When you are creating a workout in the builder, if you get to the last step and Remove it, it changes all of the FTP Percentages that were just set. Super annoying whenever I forget this!

Add critical power as a standard for determining metabolic training zones, just as already exists for FTP.
Adopting Critical Power as the standard for defining metabolic zones is justified by its superiority in delineating the true boundary between physiological equilibrium and fatigue accumulation, the mathematical robustness provided by the W' parameter, and greater test stability compared to the traditional 20-minute protocol. Far from rendering FTP obsolete, this standardization incorporates it as a derived reference, enabling training that is more precise, individualized, and scientifically aligned with current models of fatigue and performance.

Visual clutter
Visual clutter
The app has too much information on the home page. There is absolutely no need to display "performance insights" if the student isn't a Premium user—it makes the home screen look extremely cluttered. The weekly summary doesn't need to be on the home page either; it could be placed somewhere else, like a specific section just for the athlete's extra information. Several users feel the exact same way, finding the app quite confusing.1 vote -
Add more options for SORT for workouts
Currently can only sort workouts by Title or Sport Type. I would like to sort by Planned Duration, TSS or IF.

Enable a secure AI Integration Platform for athletes and coaches.
TrainingPeaks already stores years of highly valuable training data, but that information remains largely inaccessible to modern AI assistants.
I would like to see an official AI integration through secure APIs (OAuth), Model Context Protocol (MCP), or similar standards that allow users to explicitly authorize assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or other AI tools to analyze their own TrainingPeaks data.
This would not replace coaches. Instead, it would augment the coaching experience by allowing athletes and coaches to ask natural-language questions such as:
• Why has my FTP improved over the last two years?
• Compare my current marathon/XCM…7 votes
