  1. TrainingPeaks tracks everything that builds fitness, but nothing that breaks it. I'd like to see injury tracking added as a first-class data type, not a metric comment buried in the calendar.

    Four parts:

    1. A dedicated injury entry type. Log an injury via a visual body map plus a structured body-part list (so it's selectable data, not free text). Each entry holds detailed descriptors, rehab methods, and attachments from a physio or medical professional, all in one place on the calendar.

    2. A daily pain score out of 10. The entry repeats daily, so the athlete logs where the injury is at…

  2. For a paid service it should auto compress my photos for me. Seems strange I can’t attach photos for my coach directly from my phone

  3. Training Readiness is available on the app. It would be great to have this on the calendar and home screen.

  5. It would be very useful to have an estimated duration for strength training workouts and an estimated distance for running workouts (walking/running), so that athletes and coaches can better plan and understand sessions more easily.

  6. When you make an event for a client, there is a drop down menu where you add the bike- Can you add gravel bike as an option? It is 2026!

  7. Polar HR sensor doesnt work with TP Virtual. It connects, but always shows 0 HR. The problem started a couple weeks ago. Restarting the TP Virtual/sensor itself/the whole computer/unpairing and pairing again doesn't solve the issue.

  8. I would love to see TrainingPeaks introduce a more complete athlete onboarding system directly inside the platform.

    Currently, many coaches have to rely on external tools like Google Forms, Notion, Typeform, PDFs, or onboarding calls to collect basic athlete information before starting a program.

    It could be extremely useful to have a built-in “Athlete Intake/Profile” section where athletes complete a structured questionnaire during onboarding.

    This could include:

    Anthropometric data
    Sports background and experience level
    Available equipment
    Work/lifestyle information
    Nutrition and recovery habits
    Injury history or limitations
    Goals and target races
    Psychological/sport mindset questions

  9. The sync with Myfitnesspal should include whether I've marked the day as "complete" or not, in Training Peaks. Its not possible for my coach (or myself) to determine if I've fully logged a day in my fitness pal when I look at my training calendar.

  10. Currently in the Structured Workout Builder, Planned Work (kJ) is only calculated when the sport type is set to "Bike". Switching the exact same workout to "Mtn Bike" causes the kJ field to go blank — even when FTP is configured for Mtn Bike Power and the workout is built in % FTP with Target intensity. Planned TSS and IF still calculate correctly in both cases; only kJ is affected.

    This was confirmed with TP Support (Anthony H.) and is not currently documented as a known limitation.

  11. Up until recently, there was a "Launch App" button on the home screen (desktop) that you could easily click to quickly sign in. Please bring it back!

  14. With all the new metrics, insights and such on the mobile app, the workout for the day gets lost under everything. Can we please have the ability to reorder the different metrics so what is individually important is the first thing the athlete sees?

  15. Make race "event" planning and data sync/pairing as robust as other TP sessions. Would be great to schedule times/pace/effort/durations just like a workout, if desired. Plus, the nutrition app Fuelin triggers carb load and race nutrition protocols based on race events, but TP does not sync workouts back to events, and events have limited possibilities (e.g. I can not build a workout to put together a race plan using an "event"). You end up having multiple workouts recorded on TP (events+ data + perhaps a built session), duplicating/doubling planned or recorded effort, throwing off macros/nutrition etc. when race data comes…

  16. Please remove the call to https://api.iterable.com/api/users/update; it blocks mouse activity for 25 seconds after the page loads. It completely ruins the user experience. During that time, I can’t view or create a workout. The Facebook follower feature also throws errors. These should be optional. The privacy policy also makes no mention of iterable or what data is sent to third parties.

  19. When I input my blood glucose it always rounds down. E.g 6.3 is recorded as 6.0 once saved. Can you fix this to record accurately ?

  20. Event Calendar
    A feature that would be really helpful for coaches would be an Event Calendar view. The ability to view upcoming races/events across multiple athletes on a single calendar, with the option to overlay selected athletes, would make it much easier to track race schedules, plan training blocks, and identify athletes targeting similar events.

    This could be especially useful for managing group communication, race-specific content, camps, and shared preparation for key races throughout the season.

    I think this would add real value for coaches managing multiple athletes.
