  3. In event imports form gpx with larger routes it s difficult (for me) to associate the virtual route with the real route.
    So the solution could be to add markers visible in tpv via the type (type), comment (cmt) or description (desc) tag of gpx nodes.
    Virtual crossroads to enhance the minimap or text notifications could be also helpful.

    I thing this is much easier to implement than a full world building map editor.

  4. I would like to be able to sort my peak paces by time, as well as distance. For instance, Joe Friel uses a 20 minutes time trial to set pace and heart rate zones, it would be good to filter that to see my other peak 20 minutes efforts.

  5. I’m a skating coach and use TrainingPeaks to analyze and create training plans. In speed skating, we don’t have power meters to measure training load alongside heart rate data. However, we do have lap times measured with a transponder, and these lap times provide a good indication of training intensity, similar to how a power meter works in cycling.

    I was wondering if it’s possible to use lap times as custom zones in TrainingPeaks, so that I can analyze what percentage of a training session was completed in each lap time zone, similar to speed zones in running or power…

  6. Need a workaround that would allow you to automatically convert all of your structured sessions and apply your custom zone mappings at scale.
     
    While you can change the target type (pace, HR, power) for individual steps within a workout this action does not intelligently translate the intensity based on a coach's specific zone settings. For example pace does not equat to power zone etc.

  7. Hello everyone,
    in the dashboard there are performance statistics such as the power profile.
    I’m 65 years old, and in this profile my results look quite weak.
    However, Garmin shows that my performance is actually within the top 5% in my age cathegory.
    Wouldn’t it make sense for these charts to reflect age categories, similar to how it’s done at the UCI Masters World Championships?

  8. Some things you can click outside of the secondary window and it goes away back to the calendar, like the workout analysis and the details but some don't, like the new ST workout and the advanced metrics. Clicking outside of the detail does nothing.

    And please remove the buggy new ST hovering menu. Most times you just pass the cursor in the calendar ST session and it opens a context that doesn't go away even if you roll the calendar up or down and we have to go back to that specific day to put the cursor in the workout…

  9. It would be nice to have a more advanced way of tracking gear, not the very simplistic bikes and shoes section
    For example, I would like to be able to add different components (chains, cassetes, tyres, forks, shocks, etc) and keep track of their wear
    Also, very important (Garmin also doesnt offer this) - the option to see total time for a specific component (very useful for service intervals for forks and shocks, also useful for users who wax their chains - i personally keep track of riding time for a waxed chain, so i know when it is time…

  10. As a coach I rely on emails to alert me on athlete activities and comments. Ideally comments could be placed at the top of the email, below the header, and with space optimized before "your athlete.., updates". In doing so, I would save time scrolling down on every single email update received.

  12. Why can you not see a ATP weekly TSS or Hrs in the athletes training plan. It's frustrating these are not linked and you have to keep referring to both, very inefficient.

    What we need is a weekly total visible in the athletes training plan as its shown in their calendar

  14. Create a "Delete" shortcut. The C+Click for copy, and A+Click for analyse are very helpful, and so a D+Click for delete would also be very convenient.

    I would like to raise a concern regarding the functionality of updating training zones via the TrainingPeaks mobile app on Android.

    As a coach working with many athletes, I spend most of my time outdoors on the field and rely heavily on the mobile app to manage and update my athletes’ data efficiently. In the past, I was able to update both the threshold values and have the training zones recalculate directly on the mobile app. Unfortunately, it seems that currently only the threshold can be updated, while the zones themselves do not update automatically and…

  16. Currently, we can only see lap data in a list/table format. While functional, it makes it harder to see trends, spot pacing inconsistencies, or quickly assess interval workouts at a glance.

    I'd love to see a Pace Analysis tool that shows the average pace of each lap in a bar chart format, similar to what Strava provides (see screenshot reference). This would make it much easier to quickly visualize pacing consistency across laps compared to the current table-only view.

  18. Very frustrating that all my cycling and events sync from TP into my Google Calendar, but for some reason the new Strength workouts do not. Strength is a workout just like any other, really need it to show in my calendar please!
