UI/UX: Don’t end ride when minimizing app on IPhone?!
When using TPV on iPhone, the ride will end automatically if you switch to a new app. For example Spotify or YouTube or anything, if you put TPV in the background it will end ride after about 90seconds or so….

One of the key frustrations of using TP Virtual is that it disconnects and end your training session when the App is not open for a period longer than I'm guessing around 10 seconds. So everytime you want to check your WhatsApp messages, email or even just your playlist you run the risk of ending mid-way into your training session.
Can you please amend to allow the programme to continue whilst the App may be running in the background when using other Apps?
Thanks

When using the app on a phone, if the app is minimized for any reason (such as answering a phone call or switching to Chrome for a second), the workout is immediately completed when returning to the app due to a connection loss.

Sometime we receive a message we need to respond to immediately or we just want to change the playlist. It is very frustrating to see the workout cancelled hot that.
It would be really helpful if the app could continue running seamlessly in the background or automatically resume where it left off after a brief interruption. This small change could greatly improve the overall user experience. -

This is also the case in Android. I don’t know if there is another issue for that, but it’s the same problem. I won’t use the app or recommend it until this is fixed. You need to be able to leave the app and have it run in the background.

This is so frustrating! I’ve had to restart workouts multiple times just because I went into Spotify! Please change this asap!

The app cannot run in the background of my iphone, it will loose connection and end my ride if I bring up another app, say to read an incoming text or email. You have to keep it running on the screen or it will end the ride and I have to start it over.
