  1. I use Garmin Workout for my run and swim workouts and TrainerRoad for my bike workouts when I am not riding outdoors. It will be nice if I can export the workouts built on TP to Garmin/TrainerRoad.

  2. When using a heart rate monitor, a workout will have at least two TSS scores - an hrTSS, and a sport-specific TSS such as sTSS or rTSS.

Please display both of these on the workout, and permit the user to decide which TSS score to use for statistics and reporting. Sometimes, sTSS is way off due to the use of paddles, flippers, kickboards, etc.

And, threshold paces change over time and it's not always feasible to do an all-out 60 minute workout every week to keep it calibrated.

This feature will help users determine when their sport-specific TSS is deviating…

Thank so much for the great suggestion. You can now toggle between which channel you use to calc your TSS on your workout.

  3. I would like to see - on the training calendar - a visual representation of the planned workout intensity so that when I'm planning ramp-up and recovery weeks for my athletes, I can see a "heat map" of the week's intensity (perhaps based on estimated TSS as derived from past workouts?). The only way that I can visually see a "recovery" week today is with a lower workout duration. I would like to plan the same workout duration week-to-week, but vary the intensity. Taking it a step further, it would be interesting to see when an athlete meets or exceeds…

We just released TSS based ATP and you can now plan and track your athletes’ seasons by TSS. Thanks for your suggestion!

  4. TrainingPeaks should have the same feature as WKO+ when it comes to being able to set Threshold values for given periods of time. When uploading an athlete's historic data, I need to be able to put in what their threshold value was at those times - not have TP calculate things like IF and TSS based on the current values. This makes it impossible to do accurate comparisons of previous build cycles in an athlete's career to the current situation. Like WKO+ this should simply be an easy to edit table where you put in start and stop dates for…

  5. Please bring back the weekly total calculations while we coaches are building our weekly training schedules in the hidden mode. Having these weekly totals out of view while we are building schedules certainly adds more computer time and this is not the goal. This just changed with the most recent update and I personally find it a huge disappointment.

  6. Hi - not sure if this is a bug or intentional:

    1) when adding a workout from a library to a calendar it assigns a time of 12:00am
    2) when adding a new workout to a calendar (using the "+" button) the time is blank by default
    3) when applying a plan to a calendar all of the workouts have a blank time

Then on any day in the calendar:
    - workouts with a time are ordered first
    - workouts with a blank time come next

It would make more sense to me that:
    1) in a plan you can…

  7. Rather than having to enter a schedule on the calendar UI and flip back and forth to the dashboard's PMC to see the results of a specified TSS could slider bars be added on a special PMC Planner UI? The slider bars would allow seeing "real time" effects of TSS on certain future days. The sliders would be available for a week or two going forward, starting from today. Maybe also give ability to input a numeric TSS rather than having to use the slider. I've attached a very rough mock up of this. Please forgive me if there is…

We just released our new TSS based ATP. You can now plan your optimal season all based on TSS.

  8. Now that you introduced the possibility to show races and the main race in the new homepage, it would be useful if next to each race you could show predicted CTL, ATL, TSB. Data are there in the chart already, but if would be good to see them at a glance.

Thanks for the suggestion. You can now create your ATP with TSS and can set a target CTL for your A and B races.

  9. It is frustrating having to upload workouts separately. Garmin (eg 810/620) are now auto uploading wirelessly from device to Garmin Connect but to get to TP this has to be exported from Connect then manually uploaded to TP or the device needs to plugged in and uploaded. Ideally I would like a button in TP that imports all Garmin files for a date range.

  10. Add in the ability to display the Peak performance chart in as a grid format as well as a graph (like in Classic). Very useful for a quick scan of CPPB's and when they were achieved. Also in the graph function, add the ability to display recent and older Peak Power numbers in different colors so it's easy to differentiate between the two.

  13. Develop a system to allow users to rate the quality and effectiveness of training plans that they purchase on TP. It may even be possible to contract with Amazon to sell the plans through their system, thereby allowing better accounting and customer feedback.

A rating system is on our wish list for the Training Plan store. This would help athletes make informed purchases. However, selling plans through a 3rd party is not on our list at this time.

Athlete’s whom recently completed their training plans will now receive an email asking them to rate the plan. As soon as we receive enough ratings to provide meaningful data, you’ll see the results posted on our training plan store!

  14. What would be very helpful on top of the filters (which I presume will come) is a filing system, similar the the tab there for “my assistants” . If we could drag clients into a file by group, it would make looking at the alphabetic list of clients feel less random! You could then group clients on a particular level of plan together, or groups on a dynamic plan out of the way of the real paying clients!

  15. It would be great to add a TSS bar chart of the ATP, ideally with the ability to filter by sport.

Thanks for your suggestion. We just released TSS based ATP. This first version is consolidated across sport types. We’re looking to enable TSS planning by sport type in the future.

  16. Currently, planned TSS is not showed in charts such as TSS per week.
As TP is a planning tool, I think this is a must.

It will help to see at a glance if the following weeks are hard or not and if there is any unusual behaviour in planned TSS.

This is possible with other metrics, sucha as planned duration or distance. Why not for TSS

  19. I would like to add yoga and core/PT exercises to my calendar as a recurring activity. For instance, yoga every Tuesday and Thursday. I know we can copy and paste but the ability to add it once and have it be a recurring activity until a specified end date would be helpful.

  20. Option for a chart on the dashboard that shows me historic & future CTL ramp rate based on the workouts completed/planned (that have TSS/IF of course).

Now we have to manually calculate the CTL ramp rate by subtracting the CTL from 7 days before until now.

    Thanks
