  1. The ability to format font in both workout descriptions, and notes with Bold, Italics, Bullet points etc. Right now i have to use a bold font generator to copy and paste in and use "Option + 8" to get bullet points. Would be nicer if I could do it more seamlessly in one place.

  2. With different power capture devices for both indoor and outdoor rowing we have discrepancies between training zone targets based on whether the athlete is training indoors or outdoors. Giving the athlete feedback on training zones is not possible unless we can update different zones based on activity subtype.

This should be a very easy integration and hold value across multiple sport/activities.

  3. Create a button in the workout that selects the workout as a SQUAD SESSION - this might create a different outline or an icon to the session so the athlete can determine the difference.

This could go as far as determining the time and location

  4. By dragging a workout from the library the workout is active and if activated my clients get a notification - I want the workouts I am dragging from the library to be hidden straight away, so that my clients will just get a notification when I finished programming and unhide the program.
    is this possible?

  5. When creating a cycling session you have to go through every single component and add cadence. If you have many steps this is very time consuming and if you miss one, the athlete gets a very strange stage with no data
An Apply All button would help, that way you can go through and change just what is different (if there is) and can easily change saved workouts from a long course athlete to a short course athlete.

  6. Allow easier downgrade - do no remove the 'downgrade' button / link from left menu . Have it in same place as the 2 'Upgrade' links/buttons for a basic athlete

2 images attached to show the discrepancy

Do not require coaches to hunt around for the downgrade button in one of the payments / settings sections of TP.

It seems unfair or disingenuous to have 2 separate left menu upgrade links but not one downgrade on left menu . This was something that previously did exist.

Why not have the convenience of that link in the workflow when disconnecting or…

  7. You have "save" and "save and close" but it would be nice to have one more that would be a "save and go to summary" button. This perhaps might make the flow of saving a training session and then going to the summary and then allowing you to click the right arrow to immediately go to the next training session. Vs having to click, "save" then go up to click "summary", and then finally clicking the right arrow (or left if needed to go back one session) to move to the next training session that has been created.

    Reason why…

  8. Sometimes I forget to click complete workout. A notification would be nice if my workout goes over a certain amount of time, my default to a 1.5 hours but can be user changed.

  9. Allow for a strength workout to be set as a default and not attached to a particular day, so an athlete can easily find this anytime without the coaching having to attach it to every day. My example is someone who needs a specific warm up program or someone who is injured and should be working on some particular exercises every day.

  11. It would be awesome, especially for endurance athletes, to be able to add tempo to strength workouts. Adding a comment is an easy enough work around, but it would still be a cool feature.

  12. I know a similar one was discarded.
But every time I'm not 100% focused and hit wrongly the paste button it make a mess.
It takes me minutes of clean up work to go back to the initial plan.

Why there's no undo or CTRL+Z option in Trainingpeaks?

  13. I would like to be able to assign substitutions or alternatives for strength exercises. I have many clients who all have various equipment available to them and are at different levels, strength wise. If I could put a variety of options for a specific exercise and allow them to pick which best fits their situation that would save me a lot of time and give them more flexibility. Another example would be I program chin ups, but I have a client who can’t do them so they could look at the alternatives and select inverted rose instead.

  14. When selecting the 'Filter by' option, allow coaches to type in the duration/distance/tss instead of just using the slide bars. Sometimes the slide bars are too close together and it makes it impossible to re-adjust them.

Also add a 'reset' button that would clear all of the filters.

  15. It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to create sub-folders within the Workout Library. For example:

    • Track Workouts > VO2 Max, Threshold, 5K-Specific, beginner
    • Half Marathon Workouts > Long Runs, Peak Runs, Tempo Sessions

This added layer of structure would significantly improve library organization and efficiency, especially for coaches managing a diverse set of athletes and training focuses. The ability to filter or categorize workouts more specifically would streamline programming and save valuable time.

  16. athletes birthdays,
    re-occurring schedule,
reminders and any other re-occurring data if needed.

Athlete availability does not show an icon of the sport so you have to click on EVERY entry,

using re-occurring notes is simple and elegant.

  17. It feels like there should be a better way to integrate the Fuelin app’s recommendations into athletes’ schedules. Right now, Fuelin adds itself as a workout, which often creates confusion about whether an athlete actually has a training session when looking at the home dashboard. The information it provides is so cluttered that it becomes difficult to see the bigger picture when planning out the week. On top of that, it frequently duplicates daily recommendations, adding even more confusion. Honestly, the issues seem to impact coaches more than athletes — otherwise, I imagine athletes would be pushing back more on…

  18. Add videos containing cardio exercises (elliptical, treadmill run, rowing ergometer, assault bike), considering not only performance athletes but also those who do not have a wearable for training. :)

Add a timer for exercises planned based on time.

Add a muscle group filter to simplify programming.

Add videos of gym machine exercises such as pulldown, leg curl, leg extension, leg press, etc.

Add a speed parameter for treadmill workouts.

  19. from coach to coach, if it's race week, that could mean "1 week until event" or "0 weeks until event". i should have the ability to choose this, such that the event countdown shows "weeks until event" or "weeks until race week", where race week would show "0 weeks until event"
