    As a coach, I see a growing need for a holistic approach to coaching, where not only training data but also lifestyle factors such as HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep play a crucial role.   3. Programming a structured swim workout from TP in Garmin is far from useful.

    • It does not allow Drill workouts to be done. There should be an option to allow at the end of a set to add the programmed distance of that set.

    • Rest times do NOT exist, the only option is to set a rest time but it counts the distance.

    • The notes or name of the series are not synchronized. So you must, remember each step.

  4. PROBLEM
    All workouts created using the Workout builder look the same. You cant tell if its Power, HR or RPE based.

    SOLUTION:
    on the calendar, a workout will have a small icon showing if its based on Power, HR or RPE at a glace!

    If you build a:
    Bike workout based on Heart Rate - a 'Red Heart' will show
    Bike workout based on Power - a 'Lightning bolt' will show
    Bike workout based on RPE - a 'RPE chart' will show

  5. The bulk recalculate TSS should have a feature to choose hrTSS vs TSS. Currently, if I change my pace swim threshold, it defaults all swims to hrTSS. This means I have to go back manually through each swim and change it to sTSS.

  6. Create a Offline mode that caches 4+ weeks of programming for each athlete, so that if TrainingPeaks becomes unavailable, we can still work and athletes can still see workouts. When the TP servers come back on line, everything is synched.

  7. I'm a coach with a large (50 person) team, all following the same basic periodization scheme for their year. It would be amazing if either (or both!) of the following capabilities existed:
    1. Ability for a coach to copy & paste a "basic" annual training plan from athlete to athlete. I can apply a weekly plan to multiple athletes, but I can't do the same for the ATP - I have to build it from scratch for every athlete.

    I need a little help.

    Each runner can enter their events into TP. But I need a way to export this CSV this information into excel, or at least an overview. It is a huge task demand to manage this.

  9. Strength training is a core element of my training strategy, so I am excited that TrainingPeaks is improving support for programming strength workouts. In addition to other requested features here, I would like to be able to prescribe the number of warm-up sets for a given exercise. This is distinct from the warm-up exercises that already exist.

    In my training plan it is important to distinguish that although only 1-2 sets may be "working" sets, there are also several warm-up sets performed at significantly lower weight and reps. From a UX perspective, it is challenging to communicate this when there…

  10. Would it be possible to add a "SICKNESS/INJURY" option when you "+" to ADD A WORKOUT or ADD OTHER. It would be great if under "ADD OTHER" their was another option for "sickness/injury". This way you can add a note to a day if an athlete is injured or sick and easy to see especially when looking back over training. It would make it a lot easier to see rather than entering it as a note or as a "other" workout which is what you have to do now. Athletes already get multiple notes in their week on other things…

  11. It would be great to specify a different intensity unit for each step of a workout.
    For example, for my runs I would like to use "% of threshold HR" for worm up and cool down and use "% of threshold pace" for the intervals.

    This is particularly annoying when you have a long warm up before an intervals session. You want to use "% of threshold pace" for the intervals (HR won't work because of the lag), but the same intensity unit is used for the warm up as well, resulting in the watch continuously beeping if not in…

  12. Utilize multiple units for workouts. Currently you can only use one unit; pace, power, heart rate, RPE. Utilizing multiple units would enable a coach to get more creative with workouts.

  15. The TSS is only auto calculated for walking and running, not for strength training, hiking or yoga. Can you please add automatic TSS calculations for all actives so that the TSS graphs overtime are correct and account for all activities.

  16. Our idea is that whenever someone selects "slightly injured" or a more severe injury status in the Metrics section, a “human body” illustration would appear. This illustration would allow the user to click on the specific area affected, making injury documentation simpler and more intuitive. We believe this could significantly reduce the hesitation, especially for younger athletes, to document their injuries thoroughly and accurately.

  17. It would be great if you could only display one week of training at a time for athletes, without the need to manually hide future workouts.

    So input 12 weeks of training but athlete gets drip fed their programme on a weekly basis.

    I like to programme weeks in advance and make small adjustments as necessary. This would be really handy

  18. I think there should be another variation to the "Coaches" role.
    For example, I have my personal Coach in my account, and my account is linked to that coach's account- that's how I get my premium subscription.
    My coach has, and should have, special "permissions" that other added "coaches" should not have.
    For example: if a team askes me to "add them to my TrainingPeaks", I don't necessarily want them to have the power to change my workouts, my data, add comments or sometimes even see my comments back to my coach.
    My comments are my main form of communication…

  19. Total training time per ATP is only part of the equation, and not indicative of the training load. The training stimulus is the metric of importance, and how long each load is delivered per period. I am looking for the planned time in each zone, which can be tabulated based on the builder. I then want to compare planned time in each zone to actual time. 15 hours of training is a useless figure. It depends what those 15 hours are filled with and the proper loads depending on period. In the ATP it would be great to see colors…

  20. When selecting the 'Filter by' option, allow coaches to type in the duration/distance/tss instead of just using the slide bars. Sometimes the slide bars are too close together and it makes it impossible to re-adjust them.

    Also add a 'reset' button that would clear all of the filters.
