PLATFORMS: Linux Version
Having the ability to run TP Virtual on Linux would be really nice.

Running with wine seems to work mostly. I can confirm that connecting anything over Bluetooth does not work. TPVirtual on an (Android) phone is just a bit too small to be usable. You can do your training just fine. It's just that anything on the screen is too small. So, a phone is basically just for controlling a smart trainer. Would love to use a large screen and feel engaged in the virtual world. Makes training more pleasant.

Something like https://github.com/netbrain/zwift would be awesome if TPV has something like Zwift Companion which does the bluetooth connections.
This takes 99% of the setup/guess work out for 99% of the Linux users

Same as Maksymilian, I tried running TP Virtual on Linux with both Proton and Wine (and also Bottles).
Everything seems to run fine, except for connecting devices. The app doesn't seem to be able to interact with bluetooth devices. It's not even able to list visible devices (despite `bluetoothctl` seeing them).
Manually connecting to the trainer/heart rate monitor before opening TP Virtual doesn't change anything.

Linux support would be great but not at the cost of many other important upgrades to Windows, Android, and iOS. If time is spent it would be great if there was support for wine and proton and then an official guide to get it up and running. This could enable devices like a Steam Deck which are reasonably priced, versatile, and well supported.

Would be great to be able to run training peaks virtual on arm achitecture as well so could have dedicated low power unit for turbo sessions. Training peaks raspberry pi image would be top

I discovered that it is possible to install and run TPVirtual like a game in the Steam for Linux environment under the "virtualizer" Proton.
This is sufficient for logging in, viewing the list of workouts, and observing the virtual world. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to connect to devices such as the trainer and heart rate sensor.
Better knowledge of connecting devices to Proton or Wine is required. -

+1
Port to run natively under Linux.
Windows will NOT be getting any better in the coming years and people are going to alternatives.

It might even be easier to add simple improvements to run TPV in Wine, if GPU support under Linux were easy to port. The Linux community would do the rest

I would love to have this, as Mei stated, I have also had to spin up Windows on a cheap computer because my entire house is ran on Linux/FreeBSD.
I'd be happy to test this out and give feedback and report bugs!

That would be awesome.
I've setup the only Windows PC in our family for the sole purpose of indoor cycling and it is giving me headaches on a regular base.
It would be just another reason to leave all the other competing platforms.
Would be willing to beta test it.
