It might even be easier to add simple improvements to run TPV in Wine, if GPU support under Linux were easy to port. The Linux community would do the rest

An additional feature that would be great is the ability to pair and share training devices through the Companion App - trainer and hr monitor

I see the lack of synchronization as an advantage of TPVirtual. Unfortunately, Garmin doesn’t update health stats or training status for data from external sources.
This allows me to use Garmin as a parallel device during training to collect data without needing to delete external data later for the stats to update. The fact that Garmin Connect won’t show the event name or a map doesn’t matter—cycling indoors is always just cycling in place, regardless of the view in front of me.

While using the program shortly after startup, the ANT+ stick connected via USB was accidentally disconnected due to hardware issues caused by a low-quality USB hub.
After reconnecting the ANT+ stick directly to the computer (without the faulty hub), the program appeared to have no connection issues with the trainer.
However, when attempting to re-pair the devices by following these steps:
1. Unpairing the trainer.
2. Re-pairing the trainer.
The program successfully "paired" the devices (despite what I suspect was no actual communication). Ultimately, power data from the trainer was not transmitted to the program.
Only availale solution is to restart program.Steps to Reproduce
1. Start the program with an ANT+ stick connected via USB, and already paired devices.
2. Start ride
3. Disconnect the ANT+ stick during operation.
4. Reconnect the ANT+ stick.
5. Attempt to unpair and re-pair the trainer.
6. Observe whether the trainer transmits data to the program.I have attached the relevant logs where the issue occurred for further analysis.

Finally, I decided to use a multi-key programmable keyboard, which is widely available in many online markets. The keyboard can be attached to the handlebars using any preferred method, and depending on your preferences and budget, you can choose from 2- or multi-button keyboards, ones with knobs or joysticks, as well as wired or wireless options.

The most important is drill block to be added to workout builder, which can result in garmin Drill. Garmin does not correctly count drills like other swimming blocks without significat left/rigth hand movement. Other two 'Rest times' and 'notes' seem to be synchronized for fenix 7

Taking away the ability for users to distinguish humans from bots is ethically questionable. People have the right to know the truth. This right can be translated into one simple option in the game: "I want to distinguish humans from bots".
Moreover, people gather on platforms such as TP Virtul, Zwift, Rouvey, because they want to have contact with another human being. Even if this contact is limited to a name on the playlist, they assume that there is a human behind the name. If they did not need confirmation of the correctness of their views by finding themselves in a group of people with similar habits, then the platforms would have no basis for existence.

I discovered that it is possible to install and run TPVirtual like a game in the Steam for Linux environment under the "virtualizer" Proton.
This is sufficient for logging in, viewing the list of workouts, and observing the virtual world. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to connect to devices such as the trainer and heart rate sensor.
Better knowledge of connecting devices to Proton or Wine is required.
