Auto Pause with Take A Break
I see there are hotkeys for pausing (spacebar) and "Take a Break" feature (B key). When I do this though, the ride timer should also stop. I downloaded the FIT file, and it showed my timer and elapsed time were both 2:05, but my moving time was only 1:50. Bike computers allow you to set a speed for autopause or manual pause. I have mine set at 3mph.

Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
TrainingPeaks Virtual already does exactly what you describe - the clock timer pauses and stats (such as distance travelled, elevation gained, calories expended etc) don't increase for the duration that you are on a break.
I suspect that some other issue might have affected your ride here, for example that the break accidentally was ended earlier than you expected - please feel free to contact support at virtual@trainingpeaks.com who can take a closer look.
