All rides go the same way at split road during Team Time Trials
I get the fun of the split road in normal races, but a team would generally go the same way in a time trial. If we have riders that can't easily get to controls, we are effectively punished if a rider by chance goes a different way. All riders should follow the same route, as happens if riding with a pacer.

I'm delighted to say that this is already fully implemented. As you note, when following a pacer then everyone will go the same way across a split road, but the same is also true for Team Time Trial events.
If you saw different behaviour then that will be either because it wasn't a Team Time Trial event (maybe instead it was set up as just an ordinary scratch race, rather than using the specific Team Time Trial mode), or because one of the riders chose (either deliberately, or accidentally) to go a different way from the default (where the default would have been the same for every member of the team).

Different Categories based on riders power and then events for those categories so im racing against similar riders
Different race Categories based on riders power and then events for those categories so you race against similar ability riders and arent just getting dropped
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this is already fully implemented. TrainingPeaks Virtual already has a rating and ranking system that's built into the core of the application and uses fully automated matchmaking (just like pretty much every multiplayer computer game: Fortnite, Call of Duty etc) to ensure that you always are placed in events against riders of a similar ability to yourself. This is all completely seamless so you don't need to select a category (and you can't sandbag either!).
As you win / lose races, then your ranking and rating will automatically be adjusted to find your right level against other riders of the same ability as you. After about 3 races, you should find that you get a fantastic quality race every single time.

Avatar Cadence changes with your pedaling
Avatar Cadence changes with your pedaling. This something that helps guage where other cyclists are in real life. I would find it usefully when racing. It still requires judgement by the individual so it's not an unfair advantage and it mimics real life
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
The synchronisation of your avatars cadence to your own cadence is already fully implemented. Simply pair a cadence sensor (either an independent sensor, or pair the cadence sensor built into your smart trainer / powermeter), and this will happen automatically for you.

Allow for a larger workout graph or even a workout-only section
I am not using the avatar/world part of TP virtual, but as a replacement for a different trainer app that only did structured workouts.
TP's layout right now makes it very hard to see the interval graph a the bottom

I'm delighted to say that the latest version out today (v0.4.13) adds the option for "Focussed Mode" workouts. Selecting this option removes all the distractions from the screen and enables you to just focus directly on the core numbers that matter when you just need to get a workout done.

update slope rate of ramp test
I have been really enjoying TPV and all of the new features. The sloped ramp test is a good idea and I enjoy that much better than 1min increases.
Would it be possible to scale the slope of the ramp to increase approx 6% every minute? It seems like the current variation is a steeper ramp leading to a higher wattage in less time.
It makes comparisons difficult between 8+yrs of tests per Coggan, etc al, and the current TPV.
2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
The slope of the ramp test is set at 25 Watts per minute. This is consistent with all standard testing protocols so should be the same as you've previously done.

Record the best time on each route
For the purpose of developing training
5 votesMany thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this is already fully implemented. Just select to do a Time Trial event on a course, and you'll be able to ride against your top 3 fastest previous rides on that course (as well as anyone else entering the event live!).
Obviously this feature also includes displaying the times of your previous best rides too.
Note that this is deliberately only done in Time Trial mode so that you get accurate data to compare against, rather than draft assisted times that are largely meaningless from just riding around in the free-world.

camera mode off - maximise training data on the screen
I've just discovered the "camera mode- off" function, which is great. However It'd be good if the training data windows could be maximised to fit the screen in lieu of the virtual environment. This would be particularly useful when using TPV on an ipad / tablet like myself, where I struggle to read some of the tiny data screens

In workout mode extension of single intervals
I would like to extend/shorten intervals in workout mode by 15, 30, 60, 120, 300 etc. seconds. It would be great if this would be possible using a keyboard shortcut or some menu option. Everything else in the workout would be pushed further down, practically extending the complete workout.
So if I have a good day, I could extend High Intensity Intervals (HII) while on bad days I could just escape them.2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
As others have commented below, this is already implemented through the ability to repeat / skip intervals. You can select these options from the action bar at the bottom middle of the screen, or if you are using a keyboard then the hotkeys TAB and SHIFT+TAB will skip forward/back respectively.

Fix Workout UI - as it is miserable expierience now. Difficult to find what target, what actutal etc
It is very difficult to follow workout (power , cadence, hr target). Text information related to target and actual are put in different places on the central panel.
Sorry to say that but it is now a total disaster. I use to Trainerroad, The Sufferfest , Wahoo and Zwift and there it was always easy to do this. Right now on Training Peaks Virtual it is not.8 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

Trainer calibration 10 mins into a ride / training session
It would be nice to be able to calibrate the trainer after riding for 10 minutes without having to “end ride” and start over with another ride/training session.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this is already fully implemented. While you are mid-ride, just select the main menu (click in the bottom left corner of the screen) and then you can select the pairing menu (which has the calibration option in it) from the options tab.
Alternatively if you are using a device with a keyboard, just hit the hotkey "A" and it will take you straight there.

how do you exit full screen training peaks on laptop but continue to ride and train while I access my laptop for other reasons?
how do you exit full screen training peaks on laptop but continue to ride and train while I access my laptop for other reasons? Then maximize back to full screen when query completed.
1 voteMany thanks for your query and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I suspect what you are looking for here is "Windowed Mode", which puts TrainingPeaks Virtual into a window, rather than full screen, and then you can do what you like with other applications while riding.
You can access this from the Main Menu > Options > Graphics Settings.

Improve AppleTV virtual gear control
Since Zwift Play controllers, and I assume (though would be happy to be wrong) the QZ Fitness app can’t be used on TPv, it would be great if the virtual gearing built into TPv could be mapped to the +/- on the AppleTV remote. Or a click for up one and a double click for down one or something similar.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
As you're aware the AppleTV remote is incredibly limited in the numbers of buttons it has, and what can / can't be used by applications. However, as an alternative, TrainingPeaks Virtual already fully supports 3rd party games controllers - for example XBox, PlayStation or Avotro controllers - as well as custom homebrew controllers that use the XInput interface. These give you far, far more buttons to play with (including ones mapped by default to virtual gears) and are a much better way of controlling your ride on AppleTV.

Stop removing riders from non competitive group rides for erratic pedaling i.e. 'sticky watts'
I'm 83 in April. Use a TACX neo smart bike.
I have, probably fairly I pedal in spurts due to my age, been removed from a number of events for erratic pedaling, but 2 of these rides where non competitive group rides.5 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this is fully implemented. Event organisers can choose whether or not to have Performance Verification checking in their events (and how much of it).
You can view whether or not an event has Performance Verification (and at what level) and/or auto-removal of riders turned on by looking at the event descriptions and icons next to each event both in the TrainingPeaks Virtual app, and online at https://tpvirtualhub.com.

Option to set the camera as default on a specific setting
I like the setting of the camera view on option 10 but have to click all the views to get to 10. It would be great to have a preference to set it to my preferred view so I don’t have to change it each ride.
2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this feature has been implemented. Your camera will default to whatever view you last used - so if you were using camera 10 during one ride, then the next ride you do will start with camera 10.
If you're using a device with a keyboard, then you can also use the hotkeys 1-9 (and 0 for 10) to immediately switch to that camera without having to cycle through them one at a time.

Segments
I’d like to be able to compare my effort on the same segment across multiple rides. Is this already possible? I think it would also be cool if I could see a pacer on screen that is actually a reflection of my previous best effort for a certain route.
2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this is already fully implemented. Simply ride in a Time Trial event, and you will get to ride against your best 3 previous rides on that course (as well as your actual opposition in that event!).

Ramp test based on estimated FTP
The ramp test should adjust to estimated FTP. I set the FTP to 360 W and did the test. The test ended at 500 W (before failure) and I got an FTP 350 W. Why don't the ramp extend beyond 500 W? The starting point could also be adjusted
according to FTP.1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this was implemented just a few days ago. If you try again, then the ramp test now goes up to 700W which should be enough for everyone!
