How do I select upload to Strava simply?
Simple Strava button for uploading activity as can't seem to find settings to allow for this easily. Only Zwift and Garmin supported.
1 voteMany thanks for your comment and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
This is already fully supported in TrainingPeaks Virtual - you can connect to Strava using the Main Menu > Profile > Connected Accounts > Strava option.

Get smarter
Well, I already have a lot of experience with Zwift and it will be very difficult to do better than Zwift, you would have to be smarter!
There are times of the year when you don't ride indoors at all, that's just the way it is. With Zwift you can only take a 2 month break, how about if it was 6 months with TP, then a lot of people will consider switching and the monthly fee won't be as expensive as with Zwift.2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
It is probably worth noting that TrainingPeaks Virtual is already very significantly cheaper than other platforms. For example, an entire year of TrainingPeaks is around the same price as 6 months on Zwift, so you can already take the other 6 months off from TrainingPeaks Virtual completely if you want...

Text based workout editor
Manually clicking to build structured workouts can be a bit annoying. It would be much easier if we could simply copy-paste text-based workout steps, similar to what’s possible with the www.zwiftworkout.com/editor tool.
Even better, the TrainingPeaks workout details already look like they could support this functionality—if only there were a edit-text button.

As another person has already commented, ZWO files are just text files, and so can already be edited in any text editor (e.g. Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac). Just open them up using your editor of choice, and it's very easy to change any of the parameters you want to whatever values you want.

low internet issues
It is very essential to have the capability to run in Low internet spd and to keep the data in case of any internet interruptions without losing the training facts
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that TrainingPeaks Virtual uses far less bandwidth than any other virtual cycling platform which means that it is perfectly suited for low speed internet. In tests we have had it running perfectly even in hotel gyms etc without any issues.

Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
An estimation of your VO2max is however already incorporated into TrainingPeaks Virtual. It is displayed on the "Profile" tab of the main menu, and in the workout statistics at the end of each ride.

Integration with Virtual Training Platforms
• Direct synchronization with Zwift, Rouvy, or TrainerRoad: Allow structured TrainingPeaks workouts to load automatically and adjust in real-time within virtual simulation platforms.
• Integrated visual interface: Enhance the graphical presentation of workouts in virtual interfaces with dynamic data and more intuitive visual metrics during training.3 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Workouts from TrainingPeaks can already be fully synchronised to TrainingPeaks Virtual, and will automatically appear for you in the UI (with a huge number of metrics for you to view) as soon as you start up TrainingPeaks Virtual.
By offering a completely seamless experience, we therefore think that TrainingPeaks Virtual offers committed athletes and coaches the best platform for training and racing...however, if you wish to use other platforms that choose to offer a less integrated experience, then you are free to do so.

It would be interesting if Virtual TrainingPeaks integrated kits from prominent triathlon teams, such as Peaks Coaching Group, into virtual training simulations. This would add a layer of motivation and visual identity to the virtual training experience, especially for athletes competing in renowned events like Ironman.
Such customization would not only enhance user engagement but also strengthen the connection with teams and coaching groups, creating a more realistic and competitive training atmosphere.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that custom kits are already fully supported, and many large teams (including Peaks Coaching Group!) are already in the application. If you would like to add a new kit for your team, simply email virtual@trainingpeaks.com and the Customer Support team can guide you through the process for having it included.

Teleport
The existing teleport option at zwift would be great to have it at TP Virtual! We can change pacer at different speeds while riding and all in the same activity
4 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this is already fully supported, and you can join any pacer, or team mate or followed friend at any time. Simply select the "Join" button from the action bar at the bottom of the screen, or if you are using a device with a keyboard, use the 'J' for (J)oin hotkey.

Training plans
I'd like to either see TP Virtual be able to integrate with existing Training Peaks training plans or have it's own set of training plans that could be added to your calendar.
2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
As other people have already noted in the comments, this is already fully supported. Just use the TrainingPeaks app to set your workout schedule in your calendar (where this can be syncrhonized from many different sources of training plans) and then they will automatically appear in TrainingPeaks Virtual for you to ride.

Zoom in and out of camera angles
Initially I was thinking that the helicopter camera angle was TOO far zoomed out for my personal preference, so being able to zoom in and out of that camera angle would be really neat!
Then I realized being able to zoom in and out of all camera angles could be very useful
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
There is already a "drone" camera that you can place wherever you want - simply select camera "0" and then use the arrow keys to move up/down/left/right and the +/- keys to zoom in/out to position the camera to be exactly as you like it.

Structured workouts built and saved in TP are not appearing in my TP Virtual Ride workouts.
In TP Workouts, "My Library", I have several Structured Workouts built and saved using the TP workout builder. These are not appearing in the TP Virtual Workouts listings under any classification. I have allowed an hour and several close/re-opens of the TP Virtual app to give the system a chance to synchronise. Should I expect new structured workouts built and saved in TP to be recognised in TPV? Training Peaks is selected as a Connected Account in my Profile. Any suggestions?
2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Workouts are currently synchronised from your calendar (not your library). Simply put a workout into your calendar, and it will automatically be available to ride in TrainingPeaks Virtual on that day.
We are also looking at implementing synchronisation of your library - that is already tracked under another suggestion in UserVoice.

Fehler: Beim heutigen Fahren falsche User Anzeige
Heute bin ich nicht unter Willi Wunder sondern unter -Argie Kauer oder Virgil Molina- gefahren. Nach jedem Anmeldung erscheinen immer andere Namen.
Was ist der Grund?
0 votesMany thanks for your query and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
It is very likely that you were using "incognito mode" which deliberately changes your name to something random, so you can train in private. You can toggle this on/off from the Main Menu > UI Settings page.

Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
This has now been added in the latest release (v0.4.6). From the Main Menu > Options tab select the "Help & Support" button which will directly take you to the TPV help and support site. From there you can access many help articles, view and contribute ideas and suggestions to UserVoice, and raise an issue with the support team if needed.

Ability to run off distance & speed
The majority of my rides on TPV are workout rides, so whether I ride a route with or without hills, the elevation gained, speed, and distance ridden are all very inaccurate. It would be nice if there was a setting to turn off at least speed & distance so those numbers aren't included in the ride files. From a training standpoint, I mainly track hours anyway, and obviously hours are accurate whether riding indoors or outdoors.

TrainingPeaks Virtual already has a fully customisable UI, so that you can turn off whatever display values you want, and either replace them with something else, or leave them completely blank - it's entirely up to you. Simply configure it however you want using the Main Menu > Options > UI Settings menu.

ride time sync
Sync the 'actual ride time' not the 'TPV elapsed session time ' to 3rd party apps such as Strava
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
The FIT files that TrainingPeaks Virtual sends to Strava already contain both values, and it's up to Strava which it chooses to display.

Workout mode without needing to see virtual environment
There are moment when I do zone 2 I don’t particularly care/need to see the virtual world/surrounding… and rather tune it to a podcast/shows/movies. Wonder if it is possible to have such simple work out mode on TPV.
1 voteMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this function is already fully implemented. Simply set the "Camera Mode" option to "Off" and it will turn the view of the virtual world off and just display the training data you need for your workout. Select this from the Main Menu > Options > UI Settings menu.

Cyclist Training Bible's long term and life-time training plan
Cyclist Training Bible's long term and life-time training plan:
stage1: AE2 until EF is plateau.
stage2: AE2+SS+MF until FTP is plateau.
stage3: AE2+SS+MF+weight training until FTP is plateau.
stage4: AE2+ME when the event is close.
stage5: Transition period to do some easy ride and yoga.
stage6: Get back to stage1 and progressively overload the stages mentioned above.I am a big fan of Cyclist Training Bible book and looking forward to any training plan like stages above in TP Virtual.

As another commenter has already noted, TrainingPeaks Virtual is part of the TrainingPeaks ecosystem which means that you have access to many thousands of training plans. Simply use the main TrainingPeaks app to select your training plan, and then it will automatically sync to TrainingPeaks Virtual each day for you to ride.

Fix sync TPV workout completed -> trainingpeaks
I’ve completed my first synced workout TP -> TPV. I login with my TP account details in TPV and checked connected accounts TP ✅. But the sync back with the completed workout doesn’t work. Hope this can be fixed asap because this blocks me to fully utilize TPV and TP
4 votesMany thanks for letting us know about this, and your support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
This issue was caused by a bug on the server that resulted in FIT files temporarily not being saved / uploaded for a couple of hours. We have now identified the root cause, and have already fixed, tested and deployed the updated server to resolve it immediately.

Increase the gearing range of the virtual shifting
The virtual gearing range seems too small. In a recent race there was a short 10% climb, I was in the lowest possible gear, in the small chain ring, mid rear sprocket doing 40rpm and 450 watts. I may be doing something wrong but it seeems you need a larger range
2 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
You can already increase the range of virtual gears to simulate an extra 50 rear sprockets...which hopefully should be enough for most situations! Simply go to the Main Menu > Options > Trainer Settings menu and then set the number of virtual gears from there to be as large as you want.
