Have your training peaks zones data sync with your training peaks virtual profile
It would be nice if the training zones would sync up with the training zones you have input on training peaks account automatically rather than input each individually

Don't start the workout until the rider first pedals.
Loaded TPV and selected a ride.
Had to answer a call. Clock time and all looked correct except AP and NP seemed a bit off.
After the workout was saved to TP I had 30 minutes of blank time that was factored into the AP NP calcs.41 votesMany thanks for your suggestion, comments and wider support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

App for iOS and Android, available for download on Apple TV.
I recently reviewed the application but found it only accessible via computer, without an iOS version available for Apple TV that could link to mobile devices. This functionality is offered by Zwift, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find a similar feature in TrainingPeaks Virtual. This limitation prevented me from fully using the software, as I was unable to link my Wahoo KICKR trainer to my Mac. Expanding compatibility to include an iOS version with Apple TV connectivity would significantly enhance usability for users with similar setups.

Trainingpeaks virtual login screen
Please only show my account when the app has started up. Now I get the option new/existing/indievelo account. After clicking existing account everytime I again have to click my account name. It would really help if only my account is visible and it only costs one click

Weight Sync from Trainingpeaks
Synchronize Weight from trainingpeaks to TPVirtual so you don't have to enter it twice.
The source shouldn't really matter. Should just be from the last entry.

AppleTV
AppleTV app please
For me I only have an AppleTV for my training. I’ve tried using it on an iPhone but obviously seeing the screen is tough but also the screen keeps going to sleep and if I miss it I get disconnected.11 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
This work has now been completed and an AppleTV version of TrainingPeaks Virtual has been released today. It is now available for anyone to download from the AppleTV AppStore.

For training, allow adjustments to increase or decrease FTP effort on a phone
While training it is helpful to adjust the FTP up or down while riding. This helps adjust intervals as fatigue sets in. It also allow to fine tune power zones to heart rate zones. The idea is to have the ride on a large device and also allow another device to view the ride while it is in progress and make adjustments. If you are using a PC to run TrainingPeaks Virtual, if an adjustment is needed, you need to get off the trainer, make the adjustment, and start riding again.
13 votesThank you for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
You can already change the percentage effort on mobile devices (and all other platforms) by clicking on the action bar at the bottom middle of the screen and then selecting the + or - buttons to increase / decrease difficulty accordingly.
If you have a keyboard, then you can also use the + / - hotkeys directly.

You can already configure your powermeter to act as the primary control device when riding. Simply select from the Main Menu: "Options" > "Trainer Settings" > "Prefer Powermeter".

To combine a few rides within one session into one (an an option) eg. free ride + workout + group rides
I would like to have possibility to combine all my rides on TPV in one TPV session into one before loading it to Strava, TP etc.
Eg. I do 15min free ride before a group ride to check my trainer and then I join a group ride for 30km/ 60min and then I do 30min ride with pacer.
Is any possibility to join all these 3 rides into one before sending to strava and TP?
8 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
You can already combine free rides and workouts (even multiple different workouts) into a single ride. At any time you can just select a workout by clicking on the "Workout" button that is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
This button is hidden when riding, but to see it, you can either hover a mouse over that corner, tap on a touch screen, or just let your avatar come to a halt by the side of the road.
Once you've selected a workout to do from that button, then you can start riding it without leaving the world, and without starting a new FIT file (so everything will be in the same file when uploading to Strava etc).

To eliminate confirmation menu's (are you sure..? upload to strava? bring it on?)
To eliminate confirmation menus (are you sure..? upload to strava? bring it on?).
Too many clicks required at the beginning and in the end. Or at least put in as an option in profile to give everobody an option - popup menu with confirmation request on every action or without.I change my clothes, power on a trainer, PC/tablet and start TPVirtual platform.
I want to quickly join the group ride o race o just start riding...and not sitting on the bike trying to reach computer and go through all options and clicks required...
The same when I finish...I stop…8 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
You can actually already do this in TrainingPeaks Virtual. When you have completed your ride, just select the "Save & Exit" option from the Options tab of the main menu, and your ride will be saved and you'll return straight to the desktop with far fewer clicks.
You can also just hard-exit TrainingPeaks Virtual application (e.g. by force-closing it from the OS), and the ride will be automatically saved and uploaded to Strava etc without you needing to go through any menus at all...!
In general though, the point about streamlining the UI is also a good one and we are looking into the best way to do that as a wider improvement to TrainingPeaks Virtual.

Skip part of a workout
When doing a structured workout, it would be nice be able to skip a step. I had a reason to cut a workout short but still wanted to complete the cool down for example. Being able to skip one workout step at a time would be useful.
6 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual
As another commenter has noted, TrainingPeaks Virtual already fully supports skipping intervals in a workout (as well as skipping back to repeat previous intervals if you want to do extra!). This can be controlled using the hotkeys "Tab" and "Shift-Tab".

Be able to minimize the virtual app to check messages etc and still be in the ride
The biggest thing I noticed between virtual and the app I was previously using was in the other app I could minimize it and check my messages or look something up and I was still in my workout. In virtual every time I minimized the app, it kicked me out of my workout and went back to the beginning. I used prescribed workouts from my coach and this was a bummer.

You can already set up the application to enable running in a Windowed mode (which will allow you to use other Windows in the background). From the Main Menu, select "Graphics Settings" > "Screen Mode" > "Windowed".

Add Promoted tab on event page
Have a category for major curated events. In Zwift there too many events, so many with small registration and it just becomes a noisy list.
6 votesMany thanks for this suggestion, comments and your support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this has now been implemented for you and is available in the latest version (v0.4.6) out today. As noted, this adds a "Popular Signups" tab to the Events menu screen so you can easily see events which are popular with others (as measured by the number of signups to that event).

Am I Missing Something? Where is an online Calendar of events?
I cannot find a calendar/website to see upcoming events to select to ride/join. The only way I see is to go to the workout room, use the Virtual program, find something, then ride. With Z you can look online or use the Companion App to see upcoming events days in advance.
