For training, allow adjustments to increase or decrease FTP effort on a phone
While training it is helpful to adjust the FTP up or down while riding. This helps adjust intervals as fatigue sets in. It also allow to fine tune power zones to heart rate zones. The idea is to have the ride on a large device and also allow another device to view the ride while it is in progress and make adjustments. If you are using a PC to run TrainingPeaks Virtual, if an adjustment is needed, you need to get off the trainer, make the adjustment, and start riding again.

You can already change the percentage effort on mobile devices (and all other platforms) by clicking on the action bar at the bottom middle of the screen and then selecting the + or - buttons to increase / decrease difficulty accordingly.
If you have a keyboard, then you can also use the + / - hotkeys directly.

Be able to minimize the virtual app to check messages etc and still be in the ride
The biggest thing I noticed between virtual and the app I was previously using was in the other app I could minimize it and check my messages or look something up and I was still in my workout. In virtual every time I minimized the app, it kicked me out of my workout and went back to the beginning. I used prescribed workouts from my coach and this was a bummer.

Wiki help
Firstly, love it all. Well done! Inspired by the progress you’ve made. Secondly, I have a Tacx Neo and a pair of Assioma pedals. Love how their are metrics shown on screen for L/R balance etc but I can’t seem to get Smoothness and Effectiveness showing even when I have the trainer and pedals connected. Couldn’t find out how to do this or if I need different hardware. Tried searching for this answer, but couldn’t find anything. Hoping this is an easy fix, but perhaps a WIKI or similar for key feature questions would be helpful? Overall, keep up the…

I strongly suspect that Smoothness and Effectiveness are currently only transmitted by your device when connected over ANT+, and not over Bluetooth.
Regarding documentation, there's already an initial collection of wiki style pages available at the following link, but obviously these can always be extended and improved further!

Switch pacer rider
Would be great to skip from one paced ride to another without stopping the ride. This works well after a warm up period where you want to start slower before stepping it up.

You can already join a pacer (or a friend, or a team mate) at any time by selecting the Join button (the icon looks like two people together) from the action bar at the bottom middle of the screen.
If you are on a device with a keyboard you can also use the "J" for (J)oin hotkey.

You can already add Lap markers to a ride and these will appear in the FIT file for later analysis etc. On a device with a keyboard simply press the hotkey "L" for (L)ap.

Can I link my Training Peaks workouts to the virtual platform so I don't need to use Zwift
I use Zwift to pull my Training Peaks workouts in so that I'm forced to do the set wattage which is based on my FTP in Training Peaks. Can this be done in the new platform?

Any workouts in your TrainingPeaks calendar will be seamlessly available to ride in TrainingPeaks Virtual without you needing to do any configuration. Just log in using your TrainingPeaks username and password and any workouts for that day will automatically appear in the Training tab of the Main Menu for you to ride.
