WORKOUTS: Importing workouts with zones instead of specific power and without power definition
When a workout has a power zone, for example, from 150 to 170 watts, it would be good if the import occurred based on the average, or if a dialog box opened so that the user could choose the power for that section.
However, if the workout has a section without a power definition, the system should turn off the ERG mode at that moment, and turn the ERG back on when entering a new section with a power definition. Today, from what I understand, the system refuses to import the entire workout.
Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that this week's release (v0.4.18) now fully supports workouts with ranges for power, cadence and heartrate.
When specifying a range for a given interval (e.g. 180 - 200 Watts) in a workout, TrainingPeaks Virtual will now both explicitly display that range for the interval, as well as only display alerts if you go outside of that range. When using ERG mode for either power based, or heartrate based, workouts, then the trainer resistance will be automatically adjusted to keep you close to the mid-point of the range.

Is it possible to show a desired power range rather than an absolute power number when doing workouts in TPV?
For example, my Z2 ride might show a required power of 190W, when in reality anything between 140 - 190W would still be ok. If my power drifts too far from the absolute number I get the warning messages come up...
