Does Polar HRM data get smoothed? If so, could you make the lag shorter? It seems to take a minute or two to catch up to my HR

There is no smoothing of HR data in TrainingPeaks Virtual - it just displays whatever data is being broadcast by your HRM in real time. So if in any given second TrainingPeaks Virtual is displaying 150 bpm, it means that that second your HRM must have transmitted that your heart rate was 150 bpm. If the data displayed is not accurate, it is therefore because the hardware transmitting the data is not accurate.

    I can't tell if it's a feature, a bug, or some problem with my Polar H10. The HR data seems to lag by a minute or two, which is obviously a problem, particularly when doing intervals.
