  1. Hi George
    I've attempted the test and when it gets to the 20 min section it remains in ERG mode and won't let my power go above 130W. I'm using a wahoo kickr snap, with a garmin cadence and HR monitor. How do I see the response, do you email me it?

  2. yesterday I created a workout in zwofactory and copied it into the workout folder that TPV suggests.
    this workout was not showing up in the lists of workouts no matter what I tried.
    I saw your email this morning, George.
    so what do I need to do if I want to add workouts?

  3. My heartrate and power settings have been incorrect at TPV since auto sync started, so I finally turned auto sync off. They're always correct in TP, and even after I manually adjust them at TPV to match TP ... they always change to incorrect zones in TPV.

  4. I've had a repeated issue where in the middle of the ride, the resistance control drops out on my connected trainer. In paired options, it still shows as connected, but the resistance no longer changes with the terrain. This happened somewhere around 16:45 and after I noticed is I started fiddling with the settings to see if I could get it to start back up. Note that I am 100% certain the resistance worked at the start as I felt the 10%+ gradients. On my second lap there was no change in resistance.

    Your log file shows that the connection between your trainer and TrainingPeaks Virtual dropped out at the time you mentioned. This isn't something that TrainingPeaks Virtual has any control over, but most likely a signal interference problem in your environment (e.g. other Bluetooth devices in your neighbourhood flooding the airwaves with "noise"). If this is a persistent problem for you, we would recommend trying an ANT+ connection instead as that uses a different radio frequency and therefore - in your environment - may be less interrupted.

  5. So when I do intervals it taking around 20 seconds for the brake to adapt to the change in power and cadence.
    You sort of see this also when you start a ride it takes a few seconds before you start moving.
    So I’d like to see an improved response time. I’m sure those that race also see the delay in response time.

    There is no smoothing of HR data in TrainingPeaks Virtual - it just displays whatever data is being broadcast by your HRM in real time. So if in any given second TrainingPeaks Virtual is displaying 150 bpm, it means that that second your HRM must have transmitted that your heart rate was 150 bpm. If the data displayed is not accurate, it is therefore because the hardware transmitting the data is not accurate.

  7. Re sync for finished workout.

    Last Sunday I finished my workout and it was not uploaded to Training Peaks. It is showed in the training history but it is not possible to retry sync or download and upload to training peaks.

    There was an isolated issue with synchronisation of FIT files from TPV to TP on Sunday, that was quickly resolved. In general, the files already synchronise for every ride, and we'll continue to look at making that process more resilient in the future rather than tracking this as a separate issue in UserVoice.

  8. Started todays workout with positivity for App, ended in frustration!
    Kickr v5, Direct connect (LAN) & Apple TV

    Apple TV remote works better
    Single login page (Less clicks)
    Todays synced work shows first (Less Clicks)
    Prefer virtual ride feel over Zwift (How the view tilts and brakes in view 3)
    Start ERG interval workout (Frustration starts)
    No ERG control, stuck in terrain (matches world) Power & Cad showing
    Checked trainer profile defaulted to Blue tooth, changed to LAN still no control.

    Stop workout, delete so TrainingPeaks data field is not effected, Restarted APP and all devices, still the same...Repeated

    The other points you raise are actually already covered by other entries in UserVoice, so will close this ticket down and we'll still track the completion of them.

  9. I set in Trainer settings my assioma power meter preferred to be used as primary power source. However if I enter a race, then TPV automatically switches to the power meter of my HTR, when HTR is required for that event/race.
    My issue is that my HTR has an internal power meter but this one is quite bad and exposes much more high watt figures than i produce and i don't want to use it. In zwift i can participate to events/races with my calibrated assiomas power meter. I would llke the same in TPV. Pls do not override my…

    The use of the powermeter as the primary source of power is only over-ridden in events where the organiser has selected that the primary source of power must be from a smart trainer. In all other events, then the option to use a powermeter to determine your power is retained.

    As such, this function is working exactly as intended. If you want to use a powermeter as the primary source of power, then you will need to enter events where the event organiser has not decided to disallow that.

  11. Rode yesterday with TPV on iphone. Paused after 2.5 hours to get a drink. When returned, the ride had ended. Not the end of the world and the ride does appear within TPV log, however, it is not syncing with TP. ANy way to fix this?

    Additionally, I then started another ride, using the same workout option from the Train section. I used the segments, just advanced the main one after 2 hours and completed this ride. This, however, has completely failed to appear anywhere (neither TPV nor TP). Again, help and advice would be appreciated.

  12. It should be possible to easy send a completed activity from tpv into tp after sync issues on apple tv. Now I can see a completed activity but no way to send it to TP. It would be great to have this option for TPV/TP

  15. Since Friday morning, the TP Virtual has loaded correctly. In Ride mode, the avatar is on the screen, the sensor metrics are dislplayed, but when I begin pedaling the avatar does not move and the power and cadence metrics do not show. This happens in Workout mode, too.

  17. There is already a suggestion or report to support the Wahoo HR sensor, but many cheaper Chinese HR brands (Magene, Cycplus) either do not work at all or work unreliably (on Apple TV, via Bluetooth). These HR sensors work perfectly with Zwift, so it is technically possible to support them.

    As far as we are aware, TrainingPeaks Virtual already supports all known Heartrate Monitors. It is therefore far more likely that the reason why a heart rate monitor does not appear to be working is due to the Apple TV hardware Bluetooth connection limit. Please see the following article for more details.

    That said, If there is a specific make/model of Heartrate Monitor that is not working with other platforms (e.g. on PC / Mac), then please do raise this as a explicit new request and we can add support for it for you.

  18. On my ipad i've added custom workouts files in /TPVirtual/Workouts.
    As indicated.

    however i can see none of them appear when I select in TPV :
    train -> Custom Workouts

  19. Would be nice to be able to connect my Garmin Fenix 6 as my Heartrate monitor when I have turned on the Broadcast heartrate option on the watch
