How do users chat during rides? Certainly they aren't using their laptops while riding? Here is my setup:
I log into TrainingPeaks Virtual via my laptop which is connected to a big screen TV. I set the laptop to the side (so sweat doesn't get all over it). I ride !!!
However, I see people chatting but don't see an icon on my screen to do so......
That's problem number 1.
Problem # 2 is ....... even if I did, I'm not going to use my laptop while riding!! And so I tried to log in using the iPhone app (while riding the ride on my laptop / bid screen TV) but it tells me to DISCONNECT before logging on to my phone.
So how in the world do I send a message WHILE riding?
Disconnecting my laptop from the TV is really not an option (nor is typing on my laptop while riding ---- seems silly).
My suggestion (as well as others): Create a "companion app" like ZWIFT has so that you can grab your cell phone and shoot off a quick chat message WHILE ridiing.
