I just did my first ride in Virtual and found the resistance to be very different from Zwift or real rides. I messed with settings throughout the ride to really no avail. 20% training resistance (10% feels like 2%) and lowest gear had me standing and using all my weight to push the cranks up a 12% grade. It's like my cadence dropped and virtual resistance spiked significantly. I'd let off for a sec, it would kinda reset, I'd be able to spin a bit then it'd immediately spike again and become nearly impossible. There was no spinning like I can do in real life on a 40/42. There's no ability that I found to alter the gear ratios (or select common combos) to mimic real world. I'm using a Kickr Core connected to a Zwift Ride. The controllers weren't connected so I just did basic +/- to adjust the gears. I'm fairly certain the Ride doesn't really have anything to do here, but maybe the single sprocket on the Core does. The current slider method seems insufficient.
