  1. Currently you can do a structured run workout on heart rate, it will give an alarm when you go out of your zone.
    I would like this for run power (with stryd).

  2. Utilize multiple units for workouts. Currently you can only use one unit; pace, power, heart rate, RPE. Utilizing multiple units would enable a coach to get more creative with workouts.

  3. It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to create sub-folders within the Workout Library. For example:

    • Track Workouts > VO2 Max, Threshold, 5K-Specific, beginner
    • Half Marathon Workouts > Long Runs, Peak Runs, Tempo Sessions

    This added layer of structure would significantly improve library organization and efficiency, especially for coaches managing a diverse set of athletes and training focuses. The ability to filter or categorize workouts more specifically would streamline programming and save valuable time.

  4. I love the new strength programming but please for the UK coaches I would say we have a 50/50 spilt of if we run/ride in miles or km but our weights in gyms are usually KGs. When I set an athlete a strength workout it's set up in lbs by default as my settings in TP are imperial. Please can we have a separate units for strength as I often miss that it has reverted to lbs when I am adding from my library or just a new workout. This then complicates things for my athletes to record their weight.

  5. In Workout builder currently power can only be expressed as a percentage (%) of some key metrics (e.g. LTHR). However for some key testing sessions, like ramp tests Absolute values need to be entered. Garmin workout builder already does this. It would be useful in TP too to enable structured tests to be used.

  6. I know a similar one was discarded.
    But every time I'm not 100% focused and hit wrongly the paste button it make a mess.
    It takes me minutes of clean up work to go back to the initial plan.

    Why there's no undo or CTRL+Z option in Trainingpeaks?

  7. Have an option that if an athlete walks away or just disconnects from a coach the last 3-6 months' worth of programming gets deleted too? Not the data so what they did would still be there but the workouts that the coaches have spent time creating. So easy for someone to just leave and then go to another coach who potentially has access to all your workouts. On the flip side of that if a coach removes an athlete then there is the option for these to be deleted or not.
    As coaches, we spend a good bit of money…

  8. As a coach, I make training plans on real watts (cycling) or in pace (running).
    E.g.: 4 x 1000m running @ 3'/K with 45" Rest. I still am waiting for this very important way of making build-up plans!
    You only work in % of something, but not in real watts or paces. For me, this is very important (and I guess also for other coaches)!

  10. In the workout builder, while building a workout, clicking cadence automatically adds a cadence range that I DONT WANT and have to constantly change.

    Please create in our settings some default preferences for the workout builder including default cadence.

    The expectation when I have set my default cadence in settings is that when I now create a new workout and click 'cadence' my preference of 90 is set. (for example).

    As a coach, I see a growing need for a holistic approach to coaching, where not only training data but also lifestyle factors such as HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep play a crucial role. Polar provides valuable insights in this area, and it would be incredibly beneficial if TrainingPeaks could integrate this data directly into the platform.

  12. For example,

    • a kind of diary/annual plan, in which the workouts are less detailed but especially the detailed supplementation schedule can be added to certain periods, where altitude training can be planned, where medical reports/check-ups or physio screenings can be uploaded...
      Ideally, this would then have an output function/reference/link to the detailed workout schedule.

    • An overview of all the 'team members' with a brief summary on past training load, injuries, HRV/RHR, their next race goal... could be interesting as well.

    • Having a possibility to chat with other coaches, nutritionists, doctors through different accounts about a certain shared athlete will be…

  13. Upload a CSV File with all of the fields required for a running structured workout. I believe this should be quite simple and most of the people whom I've worked with have things structured on Excel and therefore the conversion to CSV is straight forward provide ease for the user and giving the community the opportunity to provide more information and help the platform grow even faster.

    I would suggest that the "Datails" column in ATP could have an option to appear on the calendar, as well as the "Limiters - Run" column; TSS planned... As this would help in the construction of the weeks with information from each athlete...
    It would be possible??

  19. I have a 12 week half marathon training plan with 4 workouts per week, to reuse the training plan for a 10 mile race I will have to edit all 48 workouts, it would be nice to be able to have a "scale a training plan" feature such that I could take the existing training plan and scale all workouts by 75%.

  20. Programming a structured swim workout from TP in Garmin is far from useful.

    • It does not allow Drill workouts to be done. There should be an option to allow at the end of a set to add the programmed distance of that set.

    • Rest times do NOT exist, the only option is to set a rest time but it counts the distance.

    • The notes or name of the series are not synchronized. So you must, remember each step.
