Power control in structured workouts has stopped working.
TPV no longer holds the required power in workouts. I have a choice of power meter options - Kickr or power meter on the bike. In structured workouts, the TPV system hits the required power briefly then drops to 50 to 70 Watts. Same result for whichever of the power devices I have paired. I have done multiple re-runs after complete shut down but I can't get the system to properly run power in my structured workouts. System is all working fine on the Zwift platform.

You have indicated that no other users are having this issue and therefore the problem must be a H/W issue at my end.
But I am quite certain you are incorrect on two grounds: firstly, I have seen others reporting this or related issues. Secondly, my system has been working fine with TPV for weeks without any erratic power management issues until a short time ago. There have been no changes of hardware or any other kind at my end and my Kickr (Kickr18), and all the supporting hardware continues to work fine on Zwift. The problem has arisen after one of the daily software updates from TPV.
While I have been forced to go back onto the Zwift platform for my workouts, I have attempted to do some workouts on TPV to try and get through this erratic power control issue.
I use my Power2Max power meter for cadence and power (Saxonar on the log files) as using the Trainer for cadence and power gives inaccurate cadence readings, particularly with cadence over 100 rpm. I have found that if I disconnect the Power2Max and use the Trainer to input cadence and power the erratic power management issue does not arise. But erratic power is then replaced by inaccurate cadence.
So this issue seems to be how TPV works with the Saxonar (Power2Max) power meter and/or the way it is gathering cadence data from the Kickr18.

12.2.25: Another attempt to use TPV ... in trying to fix the problem at this end: noted that system seems to randomly default back to "Flat Road" rather than ERG during a workout! But having re-set it to ERG, the power now rises in a "Spiral of Death" even tho the anti "Spiral of Death" option is selected.

Hi. I've just now fired up my Kickr and TPV for a workout. Right from the start the TPV app won't apply the required Watts. The Watts are up and down from the target but as for now, unworkable. The Ki or system is working fine on "other systems" ... sorry to bring bad news.

Apologies if you've already tried this: during your workout have you pressed the "E" key to toggle between ERG/Virtual/Constant modes? On the cooldown interval I will often toggle to virtual and sometimes the next workout defaults to virtual even though ERG is enabled in the workout window.

I have the same problem. When I do a TPv workout, using the ERG Mode doesn't work automatically. Instead of having the smart bike trainer do it, I must switch gears to match the Watts I requested.

An update to the below. One of my sons tonight did one of the TPv baked-in workouts, and the power requested matched the TPv workout's numbers. Given that the trainer did what TPv requested in this instance, I don't think it's a trainer connection issue--it appears to me that, at least for us, something isn't working in the connection between TP Structured Workout >>> TPv>>>Trainer. Sorry for not explaining myself better.

I'm having this (or at least a similar) issue as well. We have three iPads connected to three trainers (two Kickr and one Tacx), and lately the work requested of the trainers does not match the structured workout. For example, my son's workout called for, say 175w, but his average power for the interval was 155w--with ERG on, etc. Mine may call for 210w during an interval, but the power I'm required to pedal is 300w+. This has not been a problem previously. I've resorted to using my Garmin, and the structured workout is pushed perfectly to the trainer via the Garmin. Something is no longer working for us in terms of TPv calling for the correct values from the trainers.
