MECHANICS: Personal Team Bots
TrainingPeaks Virtual bots with their AI are quite remarkable. A completely new way to exploit those bots would be "personal team bots", i.e. the possibility of a human rider to have his own team of bots. Those team bots should work with their human team leader in different ways - not only as the tempo making domestiques, some should maybe sprinters or puncheurs and so on. So in certain cases human rider can actually work for one of his bots too. Also there should be a way to send commands to them or put the bot to a certain training program.

When you join a team race on TPV, you are often with bot teammates. This is a great tool for filling out teams, but currently the bots don't seem to know that they have teammates. It would be great if they had some simple rules so as a human you could rely on them to make certain decisions while racing. This would also help the all-bot teams you are racing against perform better. Here are some ideas for teammate behavior:
1. Bots work for, or are deferential to, higher rated teammates
2. If a bot is in the lead group with a higher rated teammate, they should work harder or attack. Also, if any bot is in a group with the highest rated teammate, they should work harder and chase down attacks
3. If a lower rated bot is in a group ahead and their highest rated teammate is in a group behind, they should not work, but they should follow attacks.
4. If a higher rated teammate attacks, they should not followHaving some simple rules for team work like this would really improve the team dynamics in races and make team racing feel more authentic. These are probably not perfect rules, but the basics of doing work that benefits the highest rated teammate is what I am going for.

These team bots could be very useful also in Team Time Trials.

Yes I really like this idea. It would also be good to get them to do a lead out for example.
