Keep the events list clean with GPXplore
When GPXplore goes live, how do we avoid the public calendar being packed full of people testing (or not even testing) routes?
I don't mind everyone being able to publish public events, but if there is not even any intention for it to be a proper race, I think more can be done to hide it.
Idea 1: Have a test route function that allows you to explore a synced route with the F9 camera without setting up an event.
Idea 2: have a 'race now' button in the event organisation pane which never hits the public calendar
Idea 3: default all events to private, and have a toggle to make public with a warning
Many thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
I'm delighted to say that the latest release makes new events private by default which will significantly reduce the number of GPXplore "test" events from appearing on the main calendar for everyone else to see.
