  1. Is there a way to make the lighting in the game more dynamic or realistic?

I was thinking about ways to achieve it.
    1. Unity game engine lighting tuning
    2. Enable Unity 6.0+ support for HDR
    3. Monitor specific setting for dynamic contrast <-- This is what I used...

It really added depth and realism to TPV. Riding through shadows (at night/moonlight) and then into an open area with moonlight was impressive. It also made the textures look significantly better and "pop visually."

Enhancing the lighting/shadow effects within the game would significantly improve the overall experience.

  2. There has to be a better way of doing updates. It would be great if the request to downloads of new updates be moved from the start of a session to the end of a session. Zwift does this as well and its a really bad design. If the software update is a large download an you have a slow connection, you can be blocked from starting your cycle session for quite some time or even miss a scheduled race which is worse. I would like to a option/warning at the end of my session to do the update now…

  3. Using external cameras (like webcams) and machine learning to determine the rider's actual riding position (on the drops, hoods, top, standing, seated, etc.) to change the virtual avatar riding position and also their CdA.

  4. Please map the AppleTV remotes +/- buttons to increase / decrease power (in ERG or cruise control) and increase / decrease virtual gear (all other modes). This would be an incredibly useful shortcut. Reasons why all other solutions are not meeting my demand:
    - Navigating the Menu to increase / decrease difficulty is very cumbersome and takes time, also when doing it with the virtual remote of TPvirtual Hub
    - adding game controllers is not possible on AppleTV as no USB port is available and only two Bluetooth connections can be made which are needed for the trainer, power meter…

  5. To be clear: not the route selection arrows, but the arrow that show if you have chosen to move the bike to the left or right of the road/group. The positioning arrows.

Use case: The zones provide really good information and I find that I don’t need the dashboard if I have them up, and this also frees up some screen real estate. But I do want to see the positioning arrows. Could they be separated from the dashboard and made a distinct item?

  6. when you press END ride and confirm, the TPV apps shows you the 'recap' of the session (and the from-to screen of the metrics), then you need to confirm that and again press END ride to upload it. But the timer is continuing and a few times I didn't go through the whole 'End ride' sequence, finding a workout for 2-3 hours with 0 power in TP

  7. The process of using the TPv Hub is still a bit cumbersome. Need a faster and simpler way to choose events and message the people you ride with.

And I would also like to see all 5 plots in the Hub

  9. We already have the option to change the color of the profile Marker. It would be great if we could also change the minimap marker color, size, and shape. For example, a different-shaped Pin or a circle in a color we can choose. I think this would make the minimap / route profile even easier to interpret at a glance. I’ve added a few examples of alternative shapes.

  10. REALLY like the new companion app with the remote option in it (AppleTV remote is just awful when trying to use in-game...), however, can we move the 'Enter' button to be in the middle of the arrows? Ergonomics would be soooo much easier!

  11. I create my own custom .zwo workout files, as I prefer freeride mode over ERG. In order to know the power/cadence/HR target for each freeride interval, and what is coming up in the next interval, I use TextEvents that stay on screen during the entire interval. When importing a zwo. file into TPv these TextEvents disappear from the screen after a few seconds (while in Zwift they stay the predetermined duration).
Is there any command/tag in TPv to keep TextEvents on screen for a specific duration?

An example of a custom interval (in xml format), with a TextEvent lasting on…

  12. Make release notes and changelogs accessable from with TPV. Suggest using the version # block on the login screen. This will make verifying changes and fixes easier and faster during the beta and initial roll-out period.

  13. Similar to what has been released for heart rate to control the trainers power, it would awesome to have the same for Heat zones !

As TPv already fully supports CORE devices, it could provide some of the heat training workouts.

Warmup / z3 power until temperature is that adaptation zone and then adjust power based on temperature/hr

  15. Hi, i have a Garmin HRM+ (BLE) and Tacx Neo 2T. Both connected previously well via Apple TV to the TPV app. Since the latest release they do not connect.

The TPV app keeps searching and searching and eventually finds the Tacx but then does not connect.

Using the TPV app on iPhone it immediately picks up both devices and connects. But on the TPV app on Apple TV.

Actually i have tried this same on the Fulgaz app which is also installed on Apple TV and it worked immediately. So this is not an Apple TV issue, but a…

  16. Add the Humon Hex to the smo2 sensors. I know the Humon Hex is not sold anymore, but probably there are still many users out there owning one. Since the Moxy is already there, the Humon Hex might be easy to implement. Here are some hints at the bluetooth protocol: https://aquarat.co.za/2018/10/16/reverse-engineering-the-humon-hex-muscle-oxygenation-sensors-bluetooth-protocol/

  17. Variants of FTP ramptest would be nice. The one existing where you gradually increase resistance but also onte that is more like Zwifts where power needed is increased in 20W steps.

  18. After logging in I was prompted to sync my new (lower in case that makes a difference) FTP from TrainingPeaks. I did so and then proceeded to do a planned structured workout. ERG was not working, even though the on-screen options said it was. Turning ERG on and off again also did not work. Stopping the session and restarting it did not work. Only after terminating the app and restarting it did work.

I was using a iPhone 16 Pro Max with iOS 18.1.1 and plenty of spare storage.

  19. If you ride in a peloton and stop pedaling, you continue coasting slowly losing speed. When you resume pedaling, you feel like you are decelerating faster instead of stopping decelerating. I believe this can be fixed by delaying the speed adjustment from power until the power reaches and exceeds the calculated power for the current speed. Until then, the bike should continue coasting. I believe such an algorithm can make these moments more realistic.

  20. I would like the app to flag when ram usage is high before launching the app so that it doesnt crash or freeze my machine (mac os 15). I often have a lot of browsers open before launching TPV and it can overload things.
