Provide Gear-Inches for each Virtual Gear based on actual front and rear tooth counts
Please allow the user to more accurately model the virtual gear combinations they actually ride outdoors. I have no idea what measure of change to expect when shifting virtual gears, causing me to do multiple shifts. If it is a % of the actual chainring/rear cog tooth ratio (or crank rpm vs. trainer axle rpm), then please present a line in the "number of gears" selection page that lists the equivalent gear-inches for a user-selected wheel-tire size (i.e. 700c or 29er, etc). I could then select what rear cog size I want to get a desired gear-inch range. Let me…

TrainingPeaks Virtual should be free for all TrainingPeaks paying customers including those who only have a coach account.
Right now, a premium athlete account is required but coaches are paying TrainingPeaks customers too and are being left out!!

TrainingPeaks Virtual should be free for users who have "paying coach accounts" not only users who have "paying athlete accounts." We are both TrainingPeaks "customers."

TP Virtual on iOS not requesting control
I'm using TP Virtual with a custom FTMS device (which works fine with Zwift and Trainerroad) but it seems like TP Virtual is not requesting control and setting the target power as it should when I launch an ERG workout. I don't get any incoming commands on the Control Point char. If I then force a disconnect from my FTMS-device side, so that TP Virtual reconnects when already in the workout it starts by requesting control and then everything works fine.
Could you check if there's something in the logic when connecting that could cause it to never request control?

Display structured workout interval title and notes
When building a structured workout in TrainingPeaks there are fields to put in a title and notes for each interval. These should be displayed on screen in TPV at the start of each interval as coaches use these fields to provide additional context over and above just the power level.

Tactical position turn indicator
Add a visual return when pushing on an arrow to turn left or right for tactical position. Only seen for the rider playing not others.
What the raison ? When using tactical position the avatar move slowly and it looks like the fonction doesn't work. So making an avatar bending a little and moving faster to it's position maybe with an indicator arrow should be interesting.1 vote -
EVENTS: Custom Bot Difficulty
It would be nice to be able to set a the difficulty of bots in a custom event rather than having them scaled to you. Sometimes, you still want to race but just don’t have the energy levels for an all out effort. It would be nice to be able to turn down the bot difficulty, rather than just getting dropped by the lead bots.

EVENTS: Improved “Nearby List” scrolling position
Depending on race situation, where my name appears in the list can be improved. In the attached screenshot, I am riding at back of a group of 15.
It would be better if my name scrolled to 9th on this list so I can see more of whom I’m riding with. I don’t need to see 4 riders who are 30+ seconds behind: one rider is sufficient and I can check the groups on the road for more details3 votes -
Improve AppleTV virtual gear control
Please map the AppleTV remotes +/- buttons to increase / decrease power (in ERG or cruise control) and increase / decrease virtual gear (all other modes). This would be an incredibly useful shortcut. Reasons why all other solutions are not meeting my demand:
- Navigating the Menu to increase / decrease difficulty is very cumbersome and takes time, also when doing it with the virtual remote of TPvirtual Hub
- adding game controllers is not possible on AppleTV as no USB port is available and only two Bluetooth connections can be made which are needed for the trainer, power meter…2 votes -
EVENTS: hare and hounds
We host the race series WADT Ridge four times a year. Initially it consisted of several stages of time challenges. To spice up things a bit and attract more peaople to the race we changed the concept and implemented various TT setups.
- iTT (runs perfect)
- TTT (runs perfect)
- hare and hounds (has to be calculated and started manually based on trust!)
- time challenge (runs perfect)
For hare and hounds I would like to have the option to give every rider a specific time penalty for his lift off at the start.
For the moment it doesn't matter if I control…3 votes -
UI/UX: Personalize estimated time to ride a route
I would love to see the estimated time that TPV thinks I will take for a given route. When I am selecting a route to ride it already in theory has my FTP so just like Zwift it can give me an estimate of how long it thinks I will take to do a route (or show me a previous performance). I want this because I often want to choose something which I can do in X amount of time and it is tough for me to estimate currently.
To be clear I would like to see this when I…

Connecting devices
Am unsure if this is the correct user process but I have to connect and then pair HR device every time.
I have two HR devices and it doesn’t matter if I use same one on consecutive rides or swap, every time I have to connect and pair.
Can this process be improved, either saving HR and removing the “connect” requirement?1 vote -
Enable Menu when spectating
At the moment, when spectating, you only have a Return option on bottom left.
Would be great to have Menu so have access to graphic options - I often use spectate to see what graphic changes I can make to balance system capabilities with best visuals.
It’s a good way to test set ups without having to start a ride and still have moving bodies1 vote -
Outline the rider location symbol in the mini map
The rider location symbol in the mini map disappears against light terrain backgrounds. Outline it in a dark color or make it red or green or something so it isn’t impossible to see in certain light colored terrains on the mini map.

Show virtual gear when primary dashboard turned off
The zones display removes (for me) the need for the relatively large primary dashboard, but turning it off seems to turn off the virtual gear display (unlike the cruise mode display).

Show positioning arrows when primary dashboard not shown
To be clear: not the route selection arrows, but the arrow that show if you have chosen to move the bike to the left or right of the road/group. The positioning arrows.
Use case: The zones provide really good information and I find that I don’t need the dashboard if I have them up, and this also frees up some screen real estate. But I do want to see the positioning arrows. Could they be separated from the dashboard and made a distinct item?

UI/UX: W-prime "Battery" Gauge
W prime meter in the GUI.
Just thinking out loud, any time spent above my CP (Watts x Time =Joules) that could be subtracted from my W-prime (KJ or Joules), and be shown like a battery percentage of how much W-prime I have left.
This would be great for learning how to manage your efforts. I image this would be similar to a Normalized Power when using FTP. BUt I would find a "battery percentage" of W-prime more accurate of what I could do in a race and easier to understand.

EVENTS: More racing format ideas
Type 1 : "Win and out"
* The opposite of the current elimination system : if you're first on the line, you win the race. The next sprint will determine top 2, etcType 2 : "Handicap race"
* the platform automatically computes a time penalty. Riders are then automatically released at said time penalty : weakest rider goes first. Strongest rider goes last and has to catch up with everyone. Organizer can decide if the draft is on or offType 3: "Battle Royale":
A rider is eliminated when being overtaken by an "enemy" pacer bot. The pacer bot…6 votes -
EVENTS: Fastest Through Segment (FTS) or "Session Race" : Dynamic & inclusive racing format
Concept :
The Session Race would be a points-based cycling race designed to encourage rider regrouping and tactical variety. After each key segment or "arch," a pacer bot is deployed—set to a fixed wattage and distance—once the first rider passes. This intentional pacing slows down the lead group and allows trailing riders to catch up, making the race more inclusive and strategic.Example on a varied circuit:
Neutral zone: 1 km
Arch 1 (1.5 km sprint on false flat): Pacer bot at 200W for 3 km
Arch 2 (800 m uphill): Pacer bot at 150W for 2 km
Arch 3…
