  1. J’ai récemment annulé mon abonnement à TrainerRoad, lorsque j’ai appris que TrainingPeaks permettait de réaliser des entraînements structurés et des sorties virtuelles.

    Bien que je n’aie pas encore testé les sorties virtuelles, j’utilise déjà les entraînements structurés de TrainingPeaks. Jusqu’à présent, tout semble correct, voire en tout point similaire à TrainerRoad, à l’exception de quelques petits détails. Le détail qui m’agace actuellement est le suivant :

  2. J’utilise TrainingPeaks depuis plusieurs années (12 ans). Auparavant, j’utilisais beaucoup un PC portable, mais maintenant que je suis lassé de la plateforme Windows, je me tourne vers Chrome OS. Je me demandais quel serait le Chromebook recommandé pour utiliser la plateforme TrainingPeaks, autant pour mes entraînements structurés que pour mes sorties virtuelles.

  3. The desktop app looks just awful, looks like there were no graphic designer or UI/UX experts involved at all. It just feels bad to use this app even compared to free competitors.

  5. For quite some time now, I have been toying with the idea of virtually cycling all three climbs of Mont Ventoux in one day.
    In principle, completing the route that is necessary in the real world to be accepted into the club Les Cinglés du Mont-Ventoux.
    This iconic moutain is very popular without a question, i dare to say.
    Climbs of the mountain have be integrated in étapes of the Tour de France more than 15 times.
    To date, there are almost 20000 members of the club Les Cinglés du Mont-Ventoux, all having accomplished the above challenge with a certificate.

  6. My exercise bike shows power values but does not broadcast them. So I can't currently use TrainingPeaks Virtual for my training. I have instead been using TrainerDay because it allows me to do power based workouts as long as I am sending live heart rate data from my heart rate chest strap. It would be great if TrainingPeaks Virtual would allow for this as well!

  8. When using the erg mode we have the difficulty scaling setting. The problem is it scale everything so if the easy is at 50% and you set the difficulty scaling at 90% the 50% will become 45%. I wish there was a setting that prevent going below a specific value and only scale value above that specified value. Even when feeling really good you bump it up at 110% you don't want it to scale your easy at 55% but remain at 50%.

  9. Harking back to early PC video games, I'd love hidden routes or short cuts in the open world. These could be unlocked by entering a sequence at a specific time on a route (e.g., near the chalets, you enter left, left, right, right, left and turn abruptly onto said off-road trail and discover something new.

    Honestly, if it takes, you'd have folks touring around the world searching for these. It could also integrate easily with Zwift Play or any other cycling controller.

  11. Being able to have Garmin workouts being loaded for rides onto the TPV. This would allow for training plans from the likes of TrainerRoad to be used which currently only work on Z.

  12. When I weigh myself in the morning, I wish I could easily update my weight in TPV right there. Instead, I have to hope I remember to change it later on when I open my iPad to TPV. I have the Hub on my phone, but not TPV, so I think it'd be beneficial to update weight in Hub.

  13. Treadmill style “quick buttons” for virtual gear #.
    I love the virtual gear feature but when utilizing for fast-changing intervals… I find the +/- to be slow when I want to go from ~5 to ~17.

    To keep from a cluttered UI, give a sliding range of ~10 buttons or something.
    Ex: if in virtual gear 10… on screen would be 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. Of course this would be able to be shown/removed from users’ UI settings.
    Maybe too niche but I’d enjoy it for non-erg intervals!

  14. Now that we have GPXplore, it would be great to be able to customize the segment of a route that the event will take place on. We can currently set laps or total distance, but all routes start at the beginning of the gpx file. However, if we are preparing for an event, we may only want to use a certain segment of the route. Being able to specify both a starting distance and a total distance would accomplish this and allow users to have one gpx file but choose which portions of it to train on.

  15. Yesterday I updated 2 HRM's polar H10 and Verity Sense to the newest polar firware. I tried to connect the h10 devices to tp virtual - it sees the device but no hr transmitted, tried verity sense - same issue. Last connected 2 days ago no issues. Checked in wahoo head unit / garmin forerunner both see devices and transmit hr. Also it no longer see the forerunner HR. Any issues I can address? thanks

  16. As a user of TPVirtual
    I'd like better log in and password layout
    So that I can actually see my entry

    As a TPVirtual User And A Person With Bad Eyesight
    I'd like bigger fonts and different Layout when trying To Select Workouts, View My Calendar and Selecting my Bluetooth devices

    As a TP Virtual User I'd like a better way to adjust my workout percentage as I can't see the arrow up/down buttons and even when I can see them just using my finger to reduce the workout percentage It never registers accurately or causes other items to show…

  17. When I create a workout on TP and select a range (eg. z2 - for me 170-230w) and then do the workout on TP Vir it just gives me a target in the middle (eg. 200w). Then it goes red and tells me to increase/decrease power if I am more than 10watts either side. i see that apparently this has been fixed but I have not got this update. Can you please let me know if this is somthing that will be fixed in the near future, thanks

  18. An area for uploading and previewing race brandings and team jerseys would be great. Currently it takes around 1 week to get a new branding approved without the possibility to get a preview.
    For me I can do a workaround with Blender, but not everybody has these abilities.

  19. Please add an option to exclude zero values from cadence and power averages. You can do this on most bike computers, it would be nice to have it on screen too. Basically, if you coast, your averages sink and then you are left chasing the targets the rest of your interval, which is reality, but there are also benefits to being able to exclude the zeros in the averages shown.

  20. When losing HRM connection a big flashing heart symbol appears on screen. Would be good if clicking on this took you straight to the pairing screen (especially in the heat of a race).

    Secondary issue, when using ANT+, TPV recognises and pairs HRM on startup, but if then go away (e.g. filling water bottle) the game does not then auto-reconnect on return.
