Running on TrainingPeaks Virtual
I am just wondering if there are any plans to incorporate indoor running into the plan? This is a feature that I would very much appreciate and would fit in nicely with my Triathlon training.
Thanks

Modify the streaming mode to also include GPS coordinates when riding a GPX route.
Currently the broadcast/streaming mode updates rider detail such as speed and distance via HTTP or a local file. It would open new opportunities for 3rd party applications if the new GPX routes could also supply GPS coordinates for the rider position

Option for 12hr format on Events
I would like my Training Peaks Virtual Events to not be set in Military time. I want the option to switch it to a 12hr format.

Pursuit Racing on the Velodrome
It would be great to be able to arrange pursuit racing on the velodrome for 1v1 racing, starting on opposite sides of the track for the usual kind of distances eg 1km, 3km, 5km etc..

Head to Head race metrics
HEAD TO HEAD Race Metrics:
As rider numbers increase on TPv and improves the racing environment, i'd love to see Head to Head win/loss stats, for example when you click into someone's profile (eg like you see on chess.com). I think this helps you gauge your abilities vs the competition and supplements ARR info.

support for Humon SmO2 sensor
it would be great to have the support added for this kind of sensor allowing to see the smo2 reading and trending to measure the o2 exhaustion of muscle. showing the trend is very important as the value can drop quickly showing an unsustainable effort

When a route has been created using Gpxplore could we have the ability to change the on screen map to a real world map showing the current ?
For custom made routes can we have the option to set the mini map to a real world map like Google maps or similar so we can see where we are. With the virtual routes it can be hard to visualise where you are without the usual real world landmarks. This has been implemented on Biketerra and it makes the riding of custom routes better in my opinion.

Please move the buttons to pause and end a ride. They are difficult to use mid ride with sweaty fingers. The position should be separated
The positioning of buttons to pause and end a ride are difficult to use with sweaty fingers. They should be more easily accessed and separated from other controls.

Issues with Heart Rate Monitor
I have tried to sync my heart rate monitor (brand new Garmin HRM 600) to training peaks virtual. It does show as paired and even shows current battery level, however it doesn't show heart rate. I know the strap is working correctly as my Garmin Watch sees it and heart rate date. I have turned off the connection on the watch and bluetooth on my phone and repaired the device multiple times with no change in the issue. I want to use the platform, but besides power heart rate data is my next critical metric to have.

GPXplore My Routes for Workouts
GPXplore My Routes for Workouts
I'd love to see the My Routes functionality expanded to workouts, rather than just events. I love the feature, but I don't want to have to create an event every time I want to use a route—nor do I think event riders want the list cluttered up with people playing around with the feature or doing route recce.

GPX File Upload World Issue
I was excited to see the release of the GPX Upload feature. I uploaded a GPX of my SeaOtter Fuego XL race 2025. The map builder had real problems with the profile. The event started with the bike submerged and it had trouble rendering the road to match the GPX file at multiiple points.
What did work was the power to the trainer and it was a very realistic experience. Note the GPX was of a MTB race. Can't wait to see this feature continue to improve. It will really help with events where the terrain cannot be replicated locally.1 vote -
Automatic Splits For TTs On Courses Without Arches
Aimed mostly at courses on the new user uploaded routes, if using a route for a TT/TTT, there are no options to have live splits between the teams during the race. If when selecting TT/TTT on a course without arches there was an option to get splits every 2/5/10k automatically implemented, that would be ideal.

AI FTP Detection
Utilise AI to analyse previous rides to determine changes in FTP and make recommended FTP updates once enough rides have been undertaken to generate sufficient data for meaningful analysis and recalculation to be undertaken. This has the potential to encourage riders to ride FP Virtual more, to get enough rides in to trigger the FTP recalculation and also removes barriers for those who are put off by having to undertake a FTP test.

Did you change the fit-file format?
For a few weeks now, it seems that the Fit File format has changed. Recently, rides are always recognized as MTB after uploading them to Garmin and no longer as virtual rides. This is not ideal.

Keep the events list clean with GPXplore
When GPXplore goes live, how do we avoid the public calendar being packed full of people testing (or not even testing) routes?
I don't mind everyone being able to publish public events, but if there is not even any intention for it to be a proper race, I think more can be done to hide it.
Idea 1: Have a test route function that allows you to explore a synced route with the F9 camera without setting up an event.
Idea 2: have a 'race now' button in the event organisation pane which never hits the public calendar
Idea 3:…

Chromecast option
I would like to Chromecast the VR screen on my phone direct to the TV that is directly above my indoor trainer. This would make a huge difference to my indoor cycling experience! Cheers Steve
