  1. Planning is an integral killer feature of tp.com. As part of that, tracking changes in TSS and IF as CTL changes. That is, the TSS for one workout a year ago may not be the same today. Having the TSS IF (and even other values) adjust for workouts in Library would be very helpful in planning the effects of workouts when added to Calendar from the Library.

  2. Can hrTSS also be displayed for a workout that has power data (including highlighted sections)? Along with this it would be helpful to be able to toggle back in forth/choose whether you wanted to use the normal TSS for a given workout or use the hrTSS. I'm asking for this feature because I think hrTSS is going to be more accurate for modeling TSS in PMC when the athlete is under certain environmental stresses (e.g. hyperthermia or hypoxia). I think it would also be more accurate than a correction factor on the power since individuals and acclimatization levels vary greatly.…

  4. As I coach I really love the new post workout notifications! The new link the to workout is just awesome. However, ONE minor change would make it even better... You list completed duration, distance and TSS - I would love to see the Planned duration, distance and TSS right above the completed (if there was planned info on the workout), this will help me decide if I need to click on the link to delve in deeper. So my feature request is to add PLANNED duration, distance and TSS to the workout notifications.

  5. Option for a chart on the dashboard that shows me historic & future CTL ramp rate based on the workouts completed/planned (that have TSS/IF of course).

Now we have to manually calculate the CTL ramp rate by subtracting the CTL from 7 days before until now.

    Thanks

We just released TSS based ATP. This new tool can assist in dialing in your periodization, ramp rate and CTL. Thanks for your suggestion.

  7. Provide the ability to have my iThlete HRV and RHR metrics automatically synced from my iThlete HRV app. This would be similar to how my Garmin Connect data automagically appears in TP. Less data entry the better!

  8. When using a heart rate monitor, a workout will have at least two TSS scores - an hrTSS, and a sport-specific TSS such as sTSS or rTSS.

Please display both of these on the workout, and permit the user to decide which TSS score to use for statistics and reporting. Sometimes, sTSS is way off due to the use of paddles, flippers, kickboards, etc.

And, threshold paces change over time and it's not always feasible to do an all-out 60 minute workout every week to keep it calibrated.

This feature will help users determine when their sport-specific TSS is deviating…

  10. I have a lot of athletes and TP has been a big feature in my success. However one thing that is very old fashion is receiving an email every time an athlete does a set or updates a set. It takes so long for each set to be reviewed and to send feedback.

Why couldnt this be incorporate in a feed like Strava for coaches with a reviewed flag. Click on it to view the data and leave a comment.

It is so slow and clunky. Plus I'm losing the war against my email. Help out your loyal coaches and…

  11. Add in the ability to display the Peak performance chart in as a grid format as well as a graph (like in Classic). Very useful for a quick scan of CPPB's and when they were achieved. Also in the graph function, add the ability to display recent and older Peak Power numbers in different colors so it's easy to differentiate between the two.

You should now see an email confirmation when a training plan is sold. We’re looking into providing additional analytics in the future. Thanks!

  13. Propose a rethinking of post workout notifications for coaches with larger athlete pools. Post workout notification emails work great for up to 5 or 6 athletes, but 10 or more and the volume of email becomes a bit much. Suggest shifting to a coaches only dashboard view where you can view all of your athletes and maybe the current week in one table view along with basic summary info and red, green yellow on completion. When you click on a particular day you would get that day’s workout or workouts in one click from the same view and could review…

  15. I would like to see - on the training calendar - a visual representation of the planned workout intensity so that when I'm planning ramp-up and recovery weeks for my athletes, I can see a "heat map" of the week's intensity (perhaps based on estimated TSS as derived from past workouts?). The only way that I can visually see a "recovery" week today is with a lower workout duration. I would like to plan the same workout duration week-to-week, but vary the intensity. Taking it a step further, it would be interesting to see when an athlete meets or exceeds…

We just released TSS based ATP and you can now plan and track your athletes’ seasons by TSS. Thanks for your suggestion!

  16. When I scroll (rather than using the arrows) to the week that I want to work on, then make modifications to that week (i.e. add a workout and save it), TP goes back to where I was BEFORE I scrolled - even though I want to continue to work on the week that I scrolled to. I hope this is actually a BUG rather than a WAD, because I find it very frustrating to have to continually have to scroll back down to where I was after each new workout is added (or to have to use the forward one…

  17. Rather than having to enter a schedule on the calendar UI and flip back and forth to the dashboard's PMC to see the results of a specified TSS could slider bars be added on a special PMC Planner UI? The slider bars would allow seeing "real time" effects of TSS on certain future days. The sliders would be available for a week or two going forward, starting from today. Maybe also give ability to input a numeric TSS rather than having to use the slider. I've attached a very rough mock up of this. Please forgive me if there is…

  18. I know that a new workout creator tool is going to be developed for the web/desktop platform. But I would like to suggest that TrainingPeaks uses something similar to the TrainerRoad's one. As a coach it's really a lot of work to write PERSONALIZED power workouts based on their current FTP and race specifics. I have developed a Excel spreadsheet that helps but still...

  20. TrainingPeaks should have the same feature as WKO+ when it comes to being able to set Threshold values for given periods of time. When uploading an athlete's historic data, I need to be able to put in what their threshold value was at those times - not have TP calculate things like IF and TSS based on the current values. This makes it impossible to do accurate comparisons of previous build cycles in an athlete's career to the current situation. Like WKO+ this should simply be an easy to edit table where you put in start and stop dates for…
