Incorporate TrainerRoad workout creator tool into TrainingPeaks
I know that a new workout creator tool is going to be developed for the web/desktop platform. But I would like to suggest that TrainingPeaks uses something similar to the TrainerRoad's one. As a coach it's really a lot of work to write PERSONALIZED power workouts based on their current FTP and race specifics. I have developed a Excel spreadsheet that helps but still...

Is the new feature of (workout creator) a possible step to an incorparation of the TR workout creator?

It would also be hugely beneficial if these would be compatible with Garmin Connect workouts which I could synch with my 920XT.

I've created a spreadsheet to allow me to define structured workouts based on power and pace zones. I use it to create a textual description from the structure that defines the current zones in watts / pace, which I can then cut&paste into my workout library. Eg:
"WU: 20' @ z2.5(124.45 watts)
WI: 8x3' @z5.9(225.34 watts) (2' @z1.5(52.25 watts))
CD: 20' @z1.5(52.25 watts)"My spreadsheet is parameterized based on current FTP / threshold pace. So, all the descriptions are recalculated whenever my thresholds change. But, then I have to open every workout in TP.com and update each description.
I'd also give more than three votes, if it were possible.

I was going to post a new topic, but instead will vote and post here. I also would like to be able to build workouts into Trainingpeaks that athletes can then export/synch with the various apps they use: Trainer Road, Wahoo app, PeriPedal, etc. to use on their trainers.

I'm new to TP Coach edition but this is what I expected to see. I'd give it a lot more than 3 votes if I could!

After having built up many exercise sets over time and used them in combinations - I now find myself with any ability to use them or modify them.
In addition, clients are not getting specific feedback on exactly what heart rate, pace or power zone to work in.
Gigantic miss! I am now looking for alternatives.

The classic training peaks had a structured workout builder that coaches could prescribe intervals during workouts that athletes could load those intervals onto their device to execute structured workouts.
This function was removed in the new version of TP but definitely needs to be added back.

Lots of coaches worked with structured workouts. In the new app it isn't possible to make a new structured workout. Advantages of a structured workout is that the client/athlete can see in what powerzone they have to ride and can see the power in that zone for him or here because it correlates with the personal zones. : 300-350 watts reps rest active etc. In the notification email the client could read it also. Highly professional in my opinion and in het new app it is gone. Hugh disappointment for me as a coach. So my suggestion is, implement it again.

Add the ability to define various intervals within a workout.
Instead of having a general Description being the only way to lay out the content of a workout, allow user inputed zone or pace (or other user defined option?) sections, i.e. warm-up, aerobic, various intervals, cool down.In the future these could be made available to other apps--like Zwift's new Workout Mode--so that a coach can more definitively define an athlete's workout.

Since 1st july, you will not provide structured exercise plan anymore. It is crucial feature for coaches as well for athletes, to get precise instructions on HR and tempo during certain intervals.
