hrTSS vs TSS Choice
Can hrTSS also be displayed for a workout that has power data (including highlighted sections)? Along with this it would be helpful to be able to toggle back in forth/choose whether you wanted to use the normal TSS for a given workout or use the hrTSS. I'm asking for this feature because I think hrTSS is going to be more accurate for modeling TSS in PMC when the athlete is under certain environmental stresses (e.g. hyperthermia or hypoxia). I think it would also be more accurate than a correction factor on the power since individuals and acclimatization levels vary greatly. I can back this thinking up with scientific literature if you want. I happen to compiling and reading through much of it now.
Anecdotally, this weekend I had a ride that was about 30-50 TSS lower than normal on the first hot day of the year. My RPE was pretty spot on. HR for the entire workout compared to the same course was the same (135 bpm vs 134 bpm in the past). I know my FTP is currently a bit too high in TP, but I know it isn't this far off. I'm seeing this as being an issue as I model athletes' performance through the hot summer months of Perth.
I went back and deleted the power data on the file so I could see the hrTSS for the hot day and it was almost exactly what I would have expected had it been a power based TSS on a cool day. Deleting power data just so I can accurately model my athletes seems very counter productive though. I obviously still want to still keep the power data.
You are now able to toggle how your TSS is calculated on your workout. Thanks so much for your suggestion!

Unfortunately, the options to choose the *order* for how TSS is calculated, or the default method are not available.

Many thanks for making that update!

I ride MTB, for my outdoor rides I would prefer to have hrTSS available as descending still requires effort but does not register on the power meter. Thanks.

I agree with this proposal.
In the mean time, I think you have another, less drastic option.
If you only delete the "average power" value and the TSS value in the summary page and clic "Save", then I am quite sure that TP recalculates TSS based on your HR data (ie hrTSS) while you still keep and can see the underlying power data in the detailed charts. -

I would like this feature also as MTBing can involve a lot of work that is not recorded when no weight is being applied to the pedals.

I'd like this because I use a left side only power meter and sometimes do workouts that involve single leg intervals. When you are only pedaling with the right leg, the power drops out - leading to an artificially low TSS if it is only looking at the power values.
