Automatic bike selection based on ANT/BLE IDs
As a cyclist with several bikes, I'd like TrainingPeaks to be able to automatically select which bike I am using, so I can better track the wear and tear on my equipment.
In .fit files, it's possible to read the ANT+/BLE sensor serial numbers, so I think it would be relatively straightforward to link specific bikes to specific sensors.

Coaches want to know which bike we used on a ride, and a different power meter could mean something to them during their analysis and data cleanup. Sensor data is already in our data files, and something like Strautomator lets us do this very request in Strava (assign a bike based on a sensor presence.)
This now makes more sense than ever with electronic groupsets, the presence of a specific Di2 or AXS sensor can fool-proof identify a bike.
Currently I don't bother setting a bike at all because eventually I'll forget the tedious task of setting it on every workout, and at that point the data can't be trusted.

This should not be that hard to do! I use the activity fix (https://www.activityfix.com) site to update what is uploaded to Strava so that the right equipment is tagged as well as the ride type based on which profile I used on my garmin.

Not until you have a pedal power meter that you move from one bike to the other. But yes, that's an edge case.
Also, not until you have an indoor trainer with a power meter that you could put multiple bikes on.
Edge cases, I know. But I just thought I'd bring them up.
