Add the ability to compare workouts side by side
It would be nice to compare all parameters side by side for similar workouts. For example, being able to compare 2-4 RT1 workouts from training plan. Or being able to compare multiple runs on a trail, etc.
301 votesHello!
Workout comparison is now available to all coaches, Premium Athletes will have access to this feature very soon.
Workout Comparison is located under the Dashboard tab, you will see a new sub-tab for Workout Comparison.
There will be improvements to come, please give it a try and send us your feedback!

Track FTP over time in Training Peaks, as a metric.
281 votesHi all,
Thanks to your feedback and votes, the first version of Threshold History has been released (I know, a long time coming)! You can find this in the web app in an athlete's account settings > zones.
This is available to all coaches (for both Basic and Premium athletes) and to Premium Athletes.
More iterations to come, including:
- Trending and graphing over time
- Available in the mobile app
As always, my door (or Zoom) is always opened. Feel free to book a time to chat about the future of TrainingPeaks.

New Strength Workout builder needs TSS
I don't see where the new strength workout includes TSS or IF for a completed workout. And it also seems that the auto sync for Apple and for Garmin doesn't pair either. Strength workouts add stress so they should have a TSS!
187 votesHi all,
The Structure Strength builder now has both TSS and IF fields. You can plan TSS and IF in a workout and the completed fields will populate after a workout is marked as done.
TSS will adjust based on Sets completed. For example, if 8/10 Sets were completed, TSS for that workout would be 80% of planned.

Sync with Oura Ring and Hyperice Apps.
A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.

With TP's new strength builder, strength no longer contributes to the fitness summary chart in the dashboard or to hours on the ATP.

Updating heart rate zones (from metabolic testing) and applying new zones to old workouts.
Hi, I'm an exercise physiologist & coach. I often run into a scenario where I test an athlete and input new heart rate zones based off the results into the athletes training peaks account. Then when I want to look at dashboard metrics related to heart rate (I.e. time in heart rate zones) on this athlete, the outdated zone numbers are all I can see on dashboard. To my understanding, I need to go into each individual workout and recalculate (see image attached) every workout within the dashboard chart timeline I choose.
For example, I test someone and have to…

Merging Garmin
I currently have a Garmin watch (currently Forerunner 955) and a Garmin Index scale. Everyday my health data from Garmin is synched from Garmin Connect to TrainingPeaks. However, they synch separately and I end with two different entries. One with the weight metrics from the Garmin scale, and another with the sleep data and other metrics from the forerunner. I believe all health data should be incorporated into a single daily file, at least for the first weigh in of the day. I understand some people might want to weigh themselves more than once daily, and that could make it…

Average to Metric Graphs
The option to add an average to metric graphs such as weight, resting heart rate, HRV.

Add rolling average options to [metrics] charts
Due to displaying multiple scales on the same chart and that the data is fairly well-bounded, the plots of metrics feels very "choppy." It'd be nice to have an option to display data in a rolling average form to smooth it out. Businesses already do this for displaying YoY data for the same reason. See attached screenshot as an example.

Request to Integrate TymeWear Data Into TrainingPeaks Analysis
Hi everyone,
I’d like to request full integration of Tymewear data into the main TrainingPeaks Analysis view. At the moment, this data is only available in the beta version, which makes it difficult to use consistently or rely on for tracking progress.
It would be very helpful to have Tymewear metrics included directly in the standard TrainingPeaks interface, so workouts can be analyzed without needing to switch between different views.
Now that TP360 has moved from beta to the live version, it appears that this data is no longer accessible. Could you please confirm whether Tymewear data will still be…3 votes -
Request to Integrate TymeWear Data Into TrainingPeaks Analysis
Hi everyone, I wanted to put in a request for TrainingPeaks to fully integrate Tymewear data into the main Analysis view. Right now the data only shows up in the beta version, which makes it hard to use consistently or rely on for tracking progress.
It would be great to have TymeWear metrics available in the standard TrainingPeaks interface so we can properly analyze workouts without needing to switch back and forth.
Hopefully this is something that can be added soon. Thanks!

Possibility to show a trend of metrics in the metrics graph
In addition to the plot of my metrics, i want to display the trend of the metrics.
E.g. the HRV is going down over the defined date range.
With the help of excel its really easy to generate and plot this trend line within a diagram.
As you can see in my attached screenshot, I can clearly see that the HRV trend is going down. With this knowledge, I can push or slow down my athletes. In my opinion, a linear interpolation of the values of the selected range should be enough.

Clicking on Rider from Calendar View
It would be a lot easier if you could jump straight to a riders calendar by clicking on the riders name when I am on "my athletes" calendar view (screenshot attached). Also making it easier and quicker to see and access a riders current FTP. Thanks
1 voteThanks for the suggestion! There is now a calendar icon to jump right into that athlete's calendar.

Time in Power Zones mirrors zones coach uses for athlete
Time in power zones should mirror the zones the coach uses for athlete. I use coogan 6. Seeing 10 seemingly arbitrary zones is useless for me to analyze how much Z2/Z3 the athlete had that week

The records that TP indicates are not correct: why not?
Yesterday I ran 30k. The first part was the 'fastest'. I did a half marathon in about 2hr04, yet your record indicates 2hr13'30' ... and that's not correct.
This should be corrected.1 vote
