  1. Would there be an antilogarithm that could detect when an athlete's data begins to show signs of over training based on how much their TSS's create the ATL and CTL to ramp up too quickly?

    Maybe flagging up a warning or notification just to give the athlete a headsup?

    With our new TSS based ATP, you can see ramp rate warnings if your plan exceeds ramp rate limits.

  2. Garmin recently updated some of their Forerunner devices to enable users to enter Self Evaluation data during the save of the activity just completed. Two values are asked for: perceived effort (scale: 0-10) and how you felt (5 point scale from Very Weak to Very Stong).

    These seem to map directly to what TrainingPeaks has had as an activity setting for years already.

    Is there any plan in place to automatically set the values in TrainingPeaks during sync of activity data from Garmin Connect?

  3. The just added read only access to the myfitnesspal feed is great. I would like to see two way exercise sync as well. Or more likely one way, from trainingpeaks into myfitnesspal.

  4. As it is today, NGP accounts for hills -- up or down -- by adjusting NGP up when climbing, and adjusting down when descending. However, TrainingPeaks currently applies equal and opposite adjustments for equal up/down grades. That means if you climb and descend the same hill, NGP will be the same as if you just ran flat. That's incorrect. In the real world, if you run up a 6% grade, you burn more energy than the energy you save running down a 6% grade.

As a coach, the workouts I design using %FTP automatically show the calculated power target on a web browser but not on the mobile app. This means my athletes have to calculate their power target "in the field" if they're using their phone. This is the single biggest complaint I receive from my athletes over and over. "I wish the mobile app would just calculate my power target like the web version". Adding this functionality would make the app a central part of the TP experience especially for younger athletes who rarely spend time on a computer.

  6. The ability to have all races available at a glance in the "race report" table in the classic version is invaluable. Is the an equivalent feature in the Beta version ?

    Simular of how workouts are downloaded in training peaks.

If, as a coach, you currently keep your preparation hidden for future training sessions or write notes but want to keep it hidden from the athlete. these will all become visible when the athlete disconnects from the coach. i suggest making hidden things disappear when disconnecting. that way, as a coach, you can set up a long-term plan and still keep it hidden. at the time the partnership ends, the athlete does not get this information for free.

  9. Would like to choose the # training weeks/ rest week ratio in the ATP rather than defaulting based on age. Ideally one could set it to reasonable range but at least it should offer 3 weeks to 1 week or 2 weeks to 1 week as two options.

  12. For building plans, my biggest pet peeve is having to close the workout box. I've created all the workouts I need and just want to drag the workout to the right day, drag the next workout to the next day, and so on. the way it is now, the workout automatically opens when you put it on a day (i'm sure the intention is so that you can alter it). I never alter them, and would LOVE an option to drag a workout to a day WITHOUT the workout details opening

  15. Super happy with the TPVirtula addition -- I might just let go of Trainer Road.
    But I came to appreciate its simple workout interface and I dread the return to virtual cycling.

    I just need an app to connect my planned workouts to my trainer. I would love to have the possibility to do it with a basic, TR-like visual.

  16. I am having issues with TrainingPeaks on my desktop. Unfortunately, I need to shift my training by a week on multiple periods due to my schedule. However, when I select "shift" for my workouts, it eliminates them altogether rather than shifts them down the calendar. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you!
